また、溶着ユニットは、例えば下記の特許文献2に示すように、容器搬送経路上の容器を所定レベルまで上昇させることにより容器内に配されて口栓を受けるアンビルと、アンビルと反対側から口栓のフランジ部および容器の注出口縁部を加圧してこれらに超音波振動を付与するホーンとを備えている。ホーンは、例えば機械的駆動手段によって、左右方向に進退駆動させられる。
