前記大腿骨構成部品の前記本体の一部分が、前記大腿骨の前記骨髄内管に入り、前記患者の大腿骨に移植される場合、前記骨髄内管に入る前記部分は、前記骨髄内管の前記皮質に実質的に接触しない、方法。

(b)前記大腿骨構成部品を、患者の大腿骨に移植させることと、を含む方法であって、前記遠位ステム部分を含む、前記大腿骨構成部品の前記本体の一部分が、前記大腿骨の前記骨髄内管に入り、前記大腿骨構成部品が患者の大腿骨内に移植される場合、前記遠位ステム部分は、前記骨髄内管の前記皮質と実質的に接触しない、方法。
