Abstract
【解決手段】この装置は、感熱基板を黒化させる熱に曝露される感熱基板供給部を備える。感熱基板は、テストパターンを形成するためにプリントヘッドから吐出された材料により印刷される。吐出された材料と曝露された感熱基板との間のコントラストは、不動作インクジェットを特定するために解析される画像データを生成するために、光学センサによって撮像される。

Claims (8)
- 材料を吐出する複数のインクジェットで構成されたプリントヘッドと、
前記プリントヘッドから吐出される材料を受けるために、感熱基板を前記プリントヘッドに対向する位置に移動させるように構成された感熱基板供給部と、
前記感熱基板上の位置における光学濃度に対応した電気信号を発生するように構成された光学センサと、
前記光学センサに動作可能に接続され、前記光学センサを前記材料が吐出された前記感熱基板に対向する位置に移動させるように構成されたアクチュエータと、
前記感熱基板の所定長さを熱に曝露させるように構成されたヒータと、
複数のアクチュエータ、前記光学センサ、前記ヒータ、および前記プリントヘッドに動作可能に接続され、前記各インクジェットから所定数の材料液滴を吐出させるために前記プリントヘッドを操作して、前記所定数の材料液滴により前記感熱基板上に前記各インクジェットのテストドットを形成可能とし、前記感熱基板の熱に曝される前記所定長さを黒化させるためにヒータを操作し、画像データおよび前記感熱基板上の前記テストドットを生成するために前記光学センサを前記感熱基板に対向する位置に移動させるために前記アクチュエータを操作し、前記感熱基板の複数の位置における前記感熱基板の光学濃度に対応する前記光学センサから受信した前記画像データを参照して前記プリントヘッドの不動作インクジェットを特定するように構成されたコントローラと、を備えるプリンタ。 - 前記感熱基板供給部は、
取り付けられたロールに前記感熱基板供給部が巻き付けられた第1のローラと、
前記感熱基板供給部の遊端に取り付けられ、回転することにより前記感熱基板を前記第1のローラから渡されることを可能にする第2のローラと、
前記第2のローラおよび前記コントローラに動作可能に接続され、前記第2のローラを回転させるように構成されたアクチュエータと、をさらに備え、
前記コントローラは、さらに、前記第2のローラを回転させて前記第1のローラに取り付けられた前記感熱基板供給部から前記感熱基板を引き出すために、前記第2のローラに動作可能に接続された前記アクチュエータを操作するように構成されている、請求項1に記載のプリンタ。 - 前記コントローラは、さらに、前記第1のローラに取り付けられた前記感熱基板供給部が使い切られていることを検出し、前記第2のローラに巻き付けられた前記感熱基板を取り外して別の感熱基板供給部を前記第1のローラに取り付けることができるように、前記感熱基板供給部が使い切られていることを示す信号を生成するように構成されている、請求項2に記載のプリンタ。
- 前記コントローラは、さらに、前記感熱基板の光学濃度に対応したデータを参照して、所定の大きさの材料の液滴を吐出しないインクジェットを特定するように構成されている、請求項1に記載のプリンタ。
- 前記プリントヘッドは、3次元オブジェクトを形成するために造形材料を滴下するように構成されている、請求項1に記載のプリンタ。
- 前記ヒータは、前記プリントヘッドが前記感熱基板上に材料を吐出している間、前記感熱基板を前記感熱基板を黒化する熱エネルギーに曝露させるように配置されている、請求項1に記載のプリンタ。
- 前記ヒータは、前記プリントヘッドが前記感熱基板上に材料を吐出した後、前記感熱基板を前記感熱基板を黒化する熱エネルギーに曝露させるように配置されている、請求項1に記載のプリンタ。
- 前記ヒータは、前記プリントヘッドが前記感熱基板上に材料を吐出するように操作される前に、前記感熱基板を前記感熱基板を黒化する熱エネルギーに曝露させるように配置されている、請求項1に記載のプリンタ。
