Abstract
【解決手段】異なる繊維配向を有する一方向プリプレグ24a、24b、24cを積層した後、樹脂マトリックスと親和性のある熱可塑性樹脂からなる縫合糸で積層体を貫通するようまとめて縫合し縫合スタック22を作成する。次にスタック22を縫合糸の融点より高い温度で熱硬化し、縫合糸を融解することで構造体より除去する複合プリフォーム20。

Claims (15)
- 複合構造体を製造する方法であって、
プリプレグ層をまとめて縫合して、異なる繊維配向を有するプリプレグ層の縫合スタックを形成することと、
プリプレグ層の前記縫合スタックを熱硬化することと、
プリプレグ層の前記縫合スタックの熱硬化中に、前記縫合のステッチを融解することと、を含む方法。 - 前記プリプレグ層を組み立ててスタックを形成することを更に含み、
前記プリプレグ層はそれぞれ樹脂粘着性を有し、前記プリプレグ層を組み立てて前記スタックを形成することは、前記縫合が行われている間、前記樹脂粘着性を利用して前記層を互いに付着させ、前記プリプレグ層の前記層配向を維持することを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記スタックは厚みを有し、前記プリプレグ層の縫合は、前記スタックの前記厚みを実質的に貫通するステッチを用いて行われる、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記プリプレグ層を組み立ててスタックを形成することは、
プリプレグトウを敷設することと、
前記層毎に、前記トウの前記繊維配向を異ならせることと、を含む、請求項2に記載の方法。 - 前記ステッチの融解は、プリプレグ層の前記縫合スタックが完全に硬化する前に行う、請求項1に記載の方法。
- プリプレグ層の前記縫合スタックを、前記複合構造体の前記形状に対応する所望の形状に成形することを更に含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- プリプレグ層の前記縫合スタックの成形は、前記プリプレグ層を互いに縫合する前に行う、請求項6に記載の方法。
- プリプレグ層の前記縫合スタックの成形は、前記プリプレグ層を互いに縫合した後に行う、請求項6に記載の方法。
- 異なる繊維配向を有する一方向プリプレグ層で構成されるスタックと、
前記スタックにおける全ての前記プリプレグ層を貫通し、前記層をまとめて保持することが可能なステッチと、を含み、前記ステッチは、前記プリプレグ層の熱硬化中に融解可能なステッチ材料で形成されている、複合プリフォーム。 - 前記プリプレグ層は、それぞれプリプレグトウを含む、請求項9に記載の複合プリフォーム。
- 前記ステッチは、前記プリプレグトウの間を通る、請求項10に記載の複合プリフォーム。
- 前記ステッチは、一方向プリプレグ層の前記スタック全体に渡って略均一に分布している、請求項9に記載の複合プリフォーム。
- 前記プリプレグ層は、それぞれ樹脂マトリックスを含み、
前記ステッチ材料は、前記樹脂マトリックスと適合性がある、請求項9に記載の複合プ リフォーム。 - 前記樹脂マトリックスは熱硬化性樹脂であり、
前記ステッチ材料は熱可塑性樹脂である、請求項13に記載の複合プリフォーム。 - 前記熱硬化性樹脂は、前記熱硬化性樹脂が完全に硬化する硬化温度を有しており、
前記熱可塑性樹脂の融解温度は、前記熱硬化性樹脂の前記硬化温度よりも低い、請求項14に記載の複合プリフォーム。
