Description
本発明は、この知見に基づくものであり、本発明の要旨は以下の通りである。
<1>少なくとも結着樹脂および着色剤を含有する静電荷像現像用負帯電トナーであって、該トナーがコア粒子とコア粒子と逆極性を有する中間層および中間層と逆極性を有するシェル粒子からなり、且つ、pH3に於けるζ電位が下記(I)乃至(V)の関係を満足することを特徴とする静電荷像現像用負帯電トナー。
(I)コア粒子のζ電位:−20mV〜−70mV
(II)中間層形成粒子のζ電位:+40mV〜+120mV
(III)シェル粒子のζ電位:−40mV〜−100mV
(IV)トナー母粒子のζ電位:−30mV〜−90mV
(V)1.0≦トナー母粒子のζ電位/コア粒子のζ電位≦5.0
<2>シェル粒子がスルホン酸またはスルホン酸塩構造を有する樹脂を含有することを特徴とする<1>に記載の静電荷像現像用負帯電トナー。
<3>中間層が4級アンモニウム塩を含有する樹脂からなることを特徴とする <1>乃至<2>に記載の静電荷像現像用負帯電トナー。
<4>中間層形成粒子のpH11に於けるζ電位が−20mV〜−100mVであることを特徴とする<1>乃至<3>に記載の静電荷像現像用負帯電トナー。
<5>エステル系ワックスを含有することを特徴とする<1>乃至<4>に記載の静電荷像現像用負帯電トナー。
The present invention is based on this finding, and the gist of the present invention is as follows.
<1> A negatively charged toner for developing an electrostatic charge image, containing at least a binder resin and a colorant, wherein the toner has a core particle and an intermediate layer having a polarity opposite to that of the core particle, and a shell particle having a polarity opposite to that of the intermediate layer. And a negatively charged toner for developing an electrostatic image, wherein the ζ potential at pH 3 satisfies the following relationships (I) to (V):
(I) ζ potential of core particles: −20 mV to −70 mV
(II) ζ potential of intermediate layer forming particles: +40 mV to +120 mV
(III) ζ potential of shell particles: −40 mV to −100 mV
(IV) ζ potential of toner base particles: −30 mV to −90 mV
(V) 1.0 ≦ ζ potential of toner mother particles / ζ potential of core particles ≦ 5.0
<2> The negatively charged toner for developing an electrostatic charge image according to <1>, wherein the shell particle contains a resin having a sulfonic acid or sulfonate structure.
<3> The negatively charged toner for developing electrostatic images according to <1> or <2>, wherein the intermediate layer is made of a resin containing a quaternary ammonium salt.
<4> The negatively charged toner for developing electrostatic images according to <1> to <3>, wherein the intermediate layer forming particles have a ζ potential at pH 11 of −20 mV to −100 mV.
<5> The negatively charged toner for developing electrostatic images according to <1> to <4>, which contains an ester wax.
