It is a front view of the double-headed processing machine to which this invention is applied. It is a top view of the double-headed processing machine of FIG. It is a side view of the double-headed processing machine of FIG. It is an enlarged view around a workpiece attachment jig. (I) And (II) is explanatory drawing of carrying-in work. (III) and (IV) are explanatory views of work unloading work.

Next, an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
First, the basic configuration of a double-sided side milling machine to which the present invention is applied will be described with reference to FIGS.

Reference numeral 1 denotes a base. On the upper surface of the base 1, a working table 2 is provided so as to be movable in the longitudinal direction (X-axis direction in FIGS. 1 and 2) with respect to the base 1. On the processing table 2, a lower jig 3 for placing the workpiece W is provided. An upper clamp cylinder 5 that moves together with the processing table 2 is provided above the lower jig 3. The upper clamp cylinder 5 has a rod disposed vertically downward. An upper jig plate 6 is provided at the tip of the rod.

On the upper surface of the base 1, a pair of left and right heads 10, 10 are provided so as to be able to move toward and away from the workpiece in a direction orthogonal to the moving direction of the processing table 2 (Z-axis direction in FIG. 2). The headstocks 11 and 11 are attached to the pair of left and right heads 10 and 10, respectively.

A pair of main shafts 12 and 12 are rotatably supported on the pair of main shaft bases 11 and 11, respectively, and the pair of main shafts 12 and 12 are provided horizontally so that their axis centers coincide with each other. Yes. Cutters 15 and 15 are respectively attached to one end portions of the pair of main shafts 12 and 12 opposite to each other. It is connected with.
For this reason, when the motor is driven, the main shaft 12 rotates and the cutter 15 rotates.

As shown in FIG. 4, the lower jig 3 on the processing table 2 is composed of a base part 3 a having a substantially triangular cross-sectional shape and a support part 3 b in which only the central upper surface is narrow and protrudes upward. The width of the support portion 3b is made thinner than the finished dimension of the workpiece W to be cut. In other words, several types of lower jigs 3 are prepared according to the workpiece W, and the lower jig 3 having the support portion 3b narrower than the finished dimension is selected and used.

For this reason, if the clamping cylinder 5 is extended, the workpiece W in a standing state is sandwiched between the lower jig 3 and the upper jig plate 6, so that the workpiece W can be fixed to the processing table 2. Moreover, if the processing table 2 is moved to the left and right (X-axis direction), the workpiece W is moved to the left and right (X-axis direction) while the workpiece W is sandwiched between the upper jig 6 and the lower jig 3. Can do.

According to the double-sided side milling machine of the above embodiment, the workpiece W is mounted upright on the processing table 2, and the pair of heads 10, 10 are moved toward the processing table 2 by the amount of processing the workpiece W. Then, by driving the motor to rotate the cutters 15 and 15 and feeding the workpiece W in the direction of the cutters 15 and 15 by the processing table 2, the front and back surfaces of the workpiece W can be cut at a time by the cutters 15 and 15.

Next, features of the present invention will be described.
As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, a workpiece loading table 20 is disposed on the front side of the processing table 2. As shown in FIG. 3, the work carry-in table 20 includes a first carriage 21 and a second carriage 22 provided on the first carriage 21. A slide guide 51 is attached to the front surface of the processing table 2 and supports the first carriage 21 so that it can reciprocate in the left-right direction (X direction in FIGS. 1 and 2). The work loading table 20 is provided with a reciprocating mechanism such as a hydraulic cylinder or a motor-driven rack and pinion mechanism so that the first reciprocating table 21 can be reciprocated in the left-right direction.

The second carriage 22 is attached so as to approach and separate from the lower jig 3 on the processing table 2 by a slide guide 52 provided on the upper surface of the first carriage 21. That is, the second carriage 22 reciprocates in a direction orthogonal to the moving direction of the first carriage 21 (Z-axis direction in FIGS. 2 and 3).
A hydraulic cylinder, a motor-driven rack and pinion mechanism, or the like is also used for the reciprocating mechanism of the second carriage 22.

A table 23 is attached to the upper surface of the second carriage 22.
As shown in FIG. 1, the table 23 is a rectangular plate-like member, and as shown in FIG. 3, the rear end edge close to the processing table 2 side is supported by a shaft 24 and can be freely tilted. In addition, the tilting cylinder 25 using a hydraulic cylinder enables the table 23 to tilt between a horizontal position and a vertical position.

As shown in FIG. 1, a plurality of magnets 26 are attached to the upper surface of the table 23. The magnet 26 is a magnetizing means for magnetizing and temporarily fixing the thin plate workpiece W. As the magnetizing means, any means such as an electromagnet in addition to a permanent magnet can be used.

As shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, a workpiece unloading table 30 is disposed in front of the processing table 2, that is, on the side where the workpiece loading table 20 is not disposed.
The substantial configuration of the workpiece carry-out table 30 is the same as that of the workpiece carry-in table 20.

That is, as shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, the workpiece carry-out table 30 includes a first carriage 31 and a second carriage 32 provided on the first carriage 31. A slide guide 51 is attached to the front surface of the processing table 2 and supports the first carriage 31 so that it can reciprocate in the left-right direction (X direction in FIG. 2). The work carry-out table 30 is provided with a reciprocating mechanism such as a hydraulic cylinder and a motor-driven rack and pinion mechanism, so that the first reciprocating table 31 can be reciprocated in the left-right direction.

The second carriage 32 is attached so as to approach and separate from the lower jig 3 on the processing table 2 by a slide guide 52 provided on the upper surface of the first carriage 31. That is, the second carriage 32 reciprocates in a direction orthogonal to the moving direction of the first carriage 31 (Z-axis direction in FIGS. 2 and 3).
A hydraulic cylinder, a motor driven rack and pinion mechanism, or the like is also used for the reciprocating mechanism of the second carriage 32.

A table 33 is attached to the upper surface of the second carriage 32.
The table 33 is a rectangular plate-like member, and a rear side end edge close to the processing table 2 side is supported by a shaft 34 and can be tilted. Further, the table 33 can be tilted between a horizontal position and a vertical position by a tilt cylinder 35 using a hydraulic cylinder.

A plurality of magnets 36 are attached to the upper surface of the table 33. This magnet 36 is a magnetizing means for magnetizing and temporarily fixing the thin plate-like workpiece W. As the magnetizing means, any means such as an electromagnet in addition to a permanent magnet can be used.

Next, how to use the apparatus of the present invention will be described.
(1) Work carrying-in work R1 in FIG. 2 indicates a preparation position, and R2 indicates a via position. When the workpiece loading table 20 is at the preparation position R1, the workpiece is placed on the horizontal table 23, and the workpiece loading table 20 is moved to the via position R2. The state at this time is (I) in FIG. 5, and the table 23 is still in the retracted position.

Next, as shown in (I) to (II) of FIG. Since the transfer position is reached when it comes closest, the table 23 is tilted vertically here. The workpiece W can be fixed to the processing table 2 by sandwiching the workpiece W in an upright state with the upper and lower jigs 6 and 3. In this way, the work W can be carried in by mechanical force and delivered to the processing 2, and the work can be carried in efficiently because no human labor is used.

In the work loading operation, since the work W placed on the table 23 can be temporarily fixed by the magnet 26, the work W does not move even when the table 23 is tilted, so that the work W can be easily set on the work table 2.

(2) Work carrying-in work (III) and (IV) of FIG. 6 show work carrying-out work. After the processing of the workpiece W is completed, the workpiece carry-out table 30 is brought close to the processing table 2, the table 33 of the second carriage 32 is made vertical, and the workpiece W is magnetized by the surface magnet 36 as shown in FIG. To wear. Next, the upper and lower jigs 6 and 3 are removed. Thereafter, when the second carriage 32 is moved backward, and the first carriage 31 is also moved back to the payout position, the processed workpiece can be carried out in a horizontal state.

(Other embodiments)
In the above-described embodiment, both the work carry-in table 20 and the work carry-out table 30 are used. However, the present invention includes only the work carry-in table 20.
Further, the reciprocating mechanism and the tilting mechanism are arbitrary, and other than the hydraulic cylinder and the rack and pinion mechanism can be used without any particular limitation.
In the above-described embodiment, the second carriage 22 approaches and separates from the direction orthogonal to the machining table 2, and the first carriages 21 and 31 move parallel to the machining table 2, but the first carriages 21 and 31 are machined. What was comprised so that it may approach and space apart from the direction orthogonal to the stand 2 is also contained in this invention.
