A paper sheet take-in device that causes paper sheets to stand by from the shutter to the receiving side of the standby unit.

The paper sheet take-in device according to the present invention causes the standby unit to wait for the paper sheet received from the receiving port, and opens the passage unit inserted in the transport pipe for the paper sheet that has been waiting at the standby unit. It sends out from the section into the passage section. Since an air flow for transporting paper sheets flows in the transport pipe, the air flow is sealed with a shutter so that the air flow does not leak outside from the opening of the passage portion. The shutter can, for example, but it may also be provided in the middle of the passage of the waiting portion. The shutter is normally in the closed position, and is in the open position when the paper sheets are allowed to pass through. The paper sheet waits from the shutter to the receiving side of the standby unit, and the shutter is maintained in the closed position while the paper sheet is in a standby state.

In the above-described invention, the shutter is normally urged to the closed position by an elastic body such as a spring or rubber, and is opened when the leading edge of the paper sheet conveyed by the sending section is pressed against it. No power is required to open and close the shutter. Further, the shutter is opened only while the paper sheets are passing, and the shutter is automatically closed during the other period to prevent air leakage.

[4] The passage of the standby unit includes an inner wall surface that is close to and opposed to the front and back surfaces of the paper sheet,
One end of the shutter is pivotally supported on one inner wall surface side of the standby portion, and the contact portion on the other end side is in contact with the other inner wall surface of the standby portion and is separated from the other inner wall surface. The paper sheet taking-in device according to any one of [1] to [3], wherein the paper sheet taking-in device is rotationally displaced to an open state.

In the above-described invention, one end is pivotally supported on one inner wall surface of the standby portion, and the abutting portion on the other end rotates to a closed position where the other abutting portion abuts on the other inner wall surface and an open position separated from the other inner wall surface. . The shutter is installed so as to be a plane perpendicular to the passage of the standby unit at the closed position, and the contact portion side is displaced and rotated from this position to the downstream side of the standby unit. Or you may install diagonally so that the other end side with a contact part may become a waiting | standby part downstream side in a closed position rather than the edge part supported by the axis. The latter is more preferable because the force to push open is reduced.

According to the paper sheet take-in device according to the present invention, the paper sheet is sent out while suppressing air leakage into the transport pipe of the transport apparatus that transports the paper sheet by the action of the air flow generated in the transport pipe. be able to.

Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.

FIG. 1 is a plan view showing a schematic configuration of a paper sheet transport apparatus 10 to which a banknote take-in device 24 according to an embodiment of the present invention is attached, and FIG. 2 is a front view of the paper sheet transport apparatus 10. In the present embodiment, the paper sheet transport device 10 is a set of a gaming ball lending machine 3 that lends a gaming ball (pachinko ball) to a player upon receipt of a bill and a gaming machine 4 such as a pachinko machine. Are provided in a gaming machine island 2 that accommodates a plurality of sets on the front and back surfaces so that they are back-to-back with each other, and the banknotes 6 discharged from the back of each gaming ball lending machine 3 are taken in to end the gaming machine island It is comprised as a banknote conveyance apparatus conveyed to the safe 5 provided in the section.

The paper sheet transport apparatus 10 includes a transport pipe 12 that serves as a transport path for banknotes (paper sheets), and an air flow generator 14 that generates an air flow that flows in the transport pipe 12 along its extending direction. ing. In the paper sheet transport apparatus 10, a transport auxiliary body 16 that can move in the transport pipe 12 by receiving an air flow is inserted into the transport pipe 12 upstream from the banknote to be transported, and transported by the transport auxiliary body 16. The banknote in the pipe 12 is pushed and moved from the rear to be conveyed downstream.

In this example, as shown in FIG. 2, an air flow generator 14 and a safe 5 are arranged at one end of the gaming machine island 2, and the transport pipe 12 of the paper sheet transport device 10 A forward path 12a extending from the start end to the other end of the gaming machine island 2 at the end of the gaming machine island 2 on the side where the generator 14 is installed, and the other end A turn part 12b that is folded in a U-shape at the part, and a return path 12c that is folded back at the turn part 12b and then extended to the end part.

In the transport pipe 12, the forward path 12a and the return path 12c of the transport pipe 12 correspond to a predetermined length, for example, a lateral width corresponding to one set of the gaming machine 4 and the gaming ball lending machine 3 housed together on the gaming machine island 2. The path length can be adjusted according to the length of the gaming machine island 2 in the longitudinal direction by connecting the required number of units by the connecting unit 18 or a bill take-in device 24 described later. It is like that. At the construction site, the transport pipe 12 is cut to the required length and used on the spot.

The air outlet 14a of the air flow generator 14 is connected to the start end side of the transport pipe 12 (outward path 12a), and the suction port 14b of the air flow generator 14 is connected to the terminal end side of the transport pipe 12 (return path 12c). ing. The air flow generator 14 blows air from the start end side into the transport pipe 12 by rotating the fan with a motor, and sucks out the air in the transport pipe 12 from the terminal end side, so that the air flow generator 14 enters the transport pipe 12. An air flow from the start end to the end (flows along the extending direction of the transfer pipe 12) is generated. The air flow generator 14 sends a part of the air in the transport pipe 12 sucked out from the suction port 14b to the transport pipe 12 through the blowout port 14a and circulates it again.

At the start end of the transport pipe 12, a transport auxiliary body insertion device 21 that feeds the transport auxiliary body 16 into the transport pipe 12 is provided. Moreover, the banknote separator 20 is arrange | positioned at the terminal part of the conveyance pipe 12, and the conveyance auxiliary body separator 22 is arrange | positioned in the upstream of the banknote separator 20 slightly. Further, in the middle of the return path 12 c of the transport pipe 12, a banknote take-in device 24 that takes the banknote 6 discharged from the back of the game ball lending machine 3 into the transport pipe 12 at a position corresponding to each game ball lending machine 3. Is arranged. The banknote capturing device 24 includes a banknote 6 from the gaming ball lending machine 3 disposed on the front surface side of the gaming machine island 2, and a banknote 6 from the gaming ball lending machine 3 disposed on the back side of the gaming machine island 2. There are a banknote capturing device 24R for the front surface (right side as viewed from the safe 5) and a banknote capturing device 24L for the back surface (left side as viewed from the safe 5). The banknote taking-in device 24 is interposed between the transport pipe and the transport pipe constituting the return path 12c to connect them and also serves as a path for the banknote 6 at the connecting portion.

The banknote 6 taken in from the banknote taking-in device 24 into the return path 12c of the transport pipe 12 stays at the take-up completion position with the paper surface in a posture along the extending direction of the transport pipe 12. The conveyance auxiliary body 16 is fed into the conveyance pipe 12 by the conveyance auxiliary body insertion device 21 in order to convey and collect the bill 6 that has been taken in and stayed in the conveyance pipe 12 to the safe 5. The conveyance auxiliary body 16 sent into the conveyance pipe 12 from the conveyance auxiliary body insertion device 21 moves in the forward path 12a toward the turn portion 12b under the action of the air flow generated by the air flow generation device 14, After making a U-turn at the turn part 12b, the inside of the return path 12c further moves toward the terminal part. At this time, as shown in FIG. 3, the conveyance auxiliary body 16 pushes and moves the banknote 6 in the conveyance pipe 12 from the rear end side of the banknote 6 toward the end of the conveyance pipe 12 (in the drawing). The bill 6 is transported in the transport direction F).

The conveyance auxiliary body insertion device 21 includes a delivery path connected between the starting end of the conveyance pipe 12 and the outlet 14a, a standby unit for waiting for the conveyance auxiliary body to be sent out next, and the conveyance auxiliary body 16 in the standby unit. The conveyance auxiliary body has a conveyance auxiliary body movable holding section that holds and holds the conveyance auxiliary body in a reciprocating manner between the delivery path and the standby section while maintaining the held state. The conveyance auxiliary body movable holding part holds the conveyance auxiliary body 16 with a holding part having a U-shaped cross section whose front is opened, and a ventilation hole is formed in the U-shaped part. When the conveyance auxiliary body insertion device 21 sends out the conveyance auxiliary body, the conveyance auxiliary body movable holding portion is moved into the delivery passage. Then, the conveyance auxiliary body moves forward by riding on the air flow from the air hole of the U-shaped part, is detached from the holding part (U-shaped part), and is sent into the conveyance pipe 12.

The conveyance auxiliary body separating device 22 performs a function of separating the conveyance auxiliary body 16 and the banknote 6 conveyed by the conveyance auxiliary body 16 and collecting the conveyance auxiliary body 16. Specifically, in the conveyance auxiliary body separating device 22, the conveyance auxiliary body 16 that has been moved by the action of the air flow and the banknote 6 that has been moved by being pushed by the conveyance auxiliary body 16 flow in from the inlet, and the banknote 6 It has a passage-like separation and recovery part with a narrow outlet that can only pass through. The conveyance auxiliary body is captured in the separation and recovery unit and held at a supplemental position before the exit. The separation and recovery unit is configured to be rotatable about the inlet side as a fulcrum. When the separation and collection unit is rotated to a position directly above the standby unit of the conveyance auxiliary body insertion device 21 with the conveyance auxiliary body supplemented at the supplementary position, the conveyance auxiliary body 16 is opened from the opening provided at the bottom of the supplementary position. The transfer auxiliary body falls into the standby section from the opening of the ceiling of the standby section and is held by the transfer auxiliary body movable holding section. In this way, one conveyance auxiliary body is recycled.

搬送補助体挿入装置21、紙幣分離装置20、搬送補助体分離装置22は、CPU(Central Processing Unit)、ROM(Read Only Memory)、RAM(Random Access Memory)などを主要部とする図示省略の制御部に制御されて動作する。 The conveyance auxiliary body insertion device 21, the banknote separation device 20, and the conveyance auxiliary body separation device 22 are not shown in the figure, with a CPU (Central Processing Unit), a ROM (Read Only Memory), a RAM (Random Access Memory), and the like as main parts. Operates under the control of the part. In this example, the air flow generator 14 is always operated, and the control unit detects the bill 6 discharged from the back of the game ball lending machine 3 by the sensor provided in the bill pickup device 24. 24 is operated to take the bill 6 into the transport pipe 12. When this taking-in operation is completed, the conveyance auxiliary body 16 is fed into the conveyance pipe 12 from the conveyance auxiliary body insertion device 21. Then, this conveyance auxiliary body 16 receives the effect | action of an air flow, moves the inside of the conveyance pipe 12, and pushes and moves the banknote 6 from back. When the conveyance auxiliary body separating device 22 detects the arrival of the conveyance auxiliary body 16, it performs a separation and recovery operation to collect the conveyance auxiliary body 16, and inserts the collected conveyance auxiliary body 16 for the next delivery. Guide to the standby section of the device 21. The banknote 6 separated by the conveyance auxiliary body separating device 22 reaches the downstream banknote separating apparatus 20, and when the banknote separating apparatus 20 detects the banknote 6, the transport belt of the banknote separating apparatus 20 is driven to move the banknote 6 to the safe 5. And so on.

The air flow generator 14 is operated only when necessary (for example, from when the banknote take-in device 24 detects a banknote from the game ball lending machine 3 to when the banknote has been transported to the safe 5). You may control.

In this way, the conveyance auxiliary body 16 is moved under the action of the airflow, and the banknote 6 is pushed and conveyed from the rear end side by the conveyance auxiliary body 16, so that the banknote 6 itself receives the airflow and propulsion force. No need to get. Therefore, the banknote 6 can be conveyed by the airflow without taking measures such as bending the banknote 6 to receive the airflow. Moreover, since the conveyance auxiliary | assistant body 16 can obtain a driving force from an airflow efficiently compared with a banknote, it can convey a banknote efficiently.

Next, the shape of the conveyance pipe | tube 12 and the conveyance auxiliary body 16 is demonstrated in detail.

FIG. 4 is a perspective view of the transport pipe 12 in a straight line portion (portion of the forward path 12a and the return path 12c), and FIG. 5 is an extending direction F of the transport pipe 12 in the same portion (= a banknote transport direction F = air flow direction). It is sectional drawing which shows a cross-sectional shape perpendicular | vertical to the (flow direction). The conveyance tube 12 is formed of a resin having a thickness of about 1.5 mm. The conveyance pipe 12 is formed by extrusion molding, for example.

The cross-sectional shape of the cross section perpendicular to the extending direction F of the straight portion of the transport pipe 12 is a shape in which the central portions of the left and right side walls of the vertically long rectangle are expanded outwardly into a rectangle. Specifically, the transport pipe 12 includes upper and lower wall portions 31, left and right side wall portions 32, and an extension portion 33 that protrudes outward in a rectangular shape at a central portion in the vertical direction of the left and right side wall portions 32. In the substantially rectangular cross section perpendicular to the extending direction (conveying direction F) of the conveying pipe 12, the short side direction is the X direction (or width direction, left and right direction), and the long side direction is Y direction (or height direction, up and down). Direction). In each of the X direction and the Y direction, the direction toward the center of the transport pipe 12 is referred to as the inside, and the direction from the center toward the inner wall is referred to as the outside.

The extension part 33 is divided into two parts, upper and lower, by a separation wall 34 erected in the inner direction of the transport pipe 12. The separation wall 34 is formed by attaching a T-shaped member to the inner wall of the extension portion 33.

A plurality of ribs 35 projecting inward of the transport pipe are formed on the side wall 32 so as to extend along the transport direction. In this example, ribs 35 projecting inward of the transport pipe are formed along the transport direction at the boundary between the side wall 32 and the extension 33. The separation wall 34 has the same height as the rib 35, and the top of the separation wall 34 functions as a rib.

The side wall part 32 is a pair of inner walls facing the paper surface of the bill 6 to be conveyed. The banknote 6 has a rectangular shape, and is transported in the transport tube 12 with the long side in the transport direction F. In other words, the paper surface is transported in such a direction that the paper surface faces the side wall portion 32 of the transport pipe 12 and one short side of the banknote 6 is the front end side in the transport direction and the other short side is the rear end side.

The interval Dy between the upper and lower wall portions 31 of the transport pipe 12 is slightly longer than the short side of the banknote 6. The distance Dx between the left and right side wall portions 32 (the portion where the rib 35, the extended portion 33, and the separation wall 34 are not formed (referred to as a reference plane portion)) is set to about 21 mm. The extended portions 33 provided on the left and right side wall portions 32 extend about 6 mm outward from the side wall portions 32 (reference plane portions). The tops of the ribs 35 and the separation wall 34 have a height of about 2 mm from the side wall portion 32 (reference plane portion) to the inside. What is necessary is just to set the height of the rib 35 suitably.

FIG. 6 shows a plane and a front surface of the conveyance auxiliary body 16. The conveyance auxiliary body 16 has a columnar shape with a circular cross section having a different diameter at each portion. The conveyance auxiliary body 16 is used by being inserted into the conveyance pipe 12 so that the central axis of the cylinder is in the Y direction (height direction) of the conveyance pipe 12. The conveyance auxiliary body 16 has a shape that is an upper and lower object, and in order from the top, has the same diameter as the head portion 16a, the neck portion 16b having a slightly smaller diameter than the head portion, the large diameter portion 16c having a larger diameter than the head portion 16a, and the neck portion 16b. Thus, it has a constricted portion 16d, a large-diameter portion 16c, a neck portion 16b, and a head portion 16a that are positioned at the upper and lower centers. The conveyance auxiliary body 16 is lightweight and strong, and the inside thereof is formed into a cavity by a plastic or the like. In addition, if it is lightweight and strong, you may form with a polystyrene foam, an extrusion foaming polystyrene, etc.

FIG. 7 shows a cross section perpendicular to the extending direction F and passing through the central axis of the conveyance auxiliary body 16 in a state where the conveyance auxiliary body 16 is inserted into the conveyance pipe 12. The diameter of each part of the conveyance auxiliary body 16 corresponds to the inner edge shape of the conveyance pipe 12. That is, the cross-sectional shape passing through the central axis of the conveyance auxiliary body 16 is a shape corresponding to the inner edge shape of the conveyance pipe 12 in the cross section perpendicular to the extending direction F, and the inside of the conveyance pipe 12 is between the inner wall and the inner wall. It has a shape that is almost closed with a predetermined clearance.

In this way, the conveyance auxiliary body 16 forms a shape corresponding to the inner edge shape of the conveyance pipe 12 (substantially the same shape with a slight clearance) and closes almost the entire cross section of the conveyance pipe 12. Receive and move efficiently. Furthermore, the conveyance auxiliary body 16 plays a role of preventing the air flow from the upstream from reaching the downstream side of the conveyance auxiliary body 16 and suppressing the disturbance of the air flow on the downstream side.

The banknote 6 tends to stick to the side wall 32 when it receives an action from the air flow in the transport pipe 12. That is, the interval between one paper surface of the banknote 6 and the side wall portion 32 opposite to the paper surface and the interval between the other paper surface and the side wall portion 32 opposite to the paper surface are hardly uniform. When narrower than the other, the flow velocity of the air flow is faster on the narrow interval side than on the wide interval side, so that the air pressure on the narrow interval side is lower than the air pressure on the wide interval side. 32 is sucked and pressed. If it becomes so, the space | interval by the side of a narrow space | interval will become further narrow, and the phenomenon which the banknote 6 sticks and adsorb | sucks to the side wall part 32 will arise.

If the banknote 6 sticks strongly to the side wall part 32, it becomes difficult to push and move the banknote 6 with the transport auxiliary body 16, but the transport auxiliary body 16 blocks the flow of air to the downstream side as described above ( Therefore, the force with which the bill 6 is stuck and attracted is reduced, and smooth conveyance is realized.

The two large diameter portions 16 c included in the conveyance auxiliary body 16 engage with the two expansion portions 33 that are partitioned by the separation wall 34 of the conveyance pipe 12. In this example, the extended portion 33 is divided into two by the separation wall 34, and these extended portions 33 are provided near the center in the Y direction of the transport pipe 12, so that the transport auxiliary body 16 is maintained in a stable posture. Can be moved. Moreover, since the attitude | position of the conveyance auxiliary body 16 is stabilized, the large diameter part 16c of the conveyance auxiliary body 16 can contact | abut appropriately at the rear end of the banknote 6, and the stable conveyance force can be given. Moreover, it becomes difficult for the banknote 6 to be caught between the conveyance pipe 12 and the conveyance auxiliary body 16.

Moreover, the conveyance auxiliary body 16 can receive the force for moving efficiently because the area of the part which receives the effect | action of an airflow expands by providing the large diameter part 16c. Moreover, since the large diameter part 16c is provided and the effect | action of an airflow is received efficiently, the diameter of the head 16a can be made small by that much. By reducing the diameter of the head, the interval (width (Dx)) between the pair of opposing side wall portions 32 in the transport pipe 12 can be reduced, and the banknote 6 can be prevented from falling.

Furthermore, the presence of the plurality of ribs 35 provided on the side wall portion 32 prevents the banknote 6 from sticking to the side wall portion 32 exactly. That is, the contact area between the bill 6 and the side wall portion 32 is reduced, friction is reduced, and generation of static electricity can be suppressed. Further, even when the banknote 6 sticks to the side wall portion 32, the banknote 6 is supported by the tip portion of the rib 35, so that a gap is secured between the side wall portion 32 and the banknote 6 around the rib 35, Sticking force can be kept small. Moreover, since the banknote 6 is supported by the separation wall 34, it is prevented that the banknote 6 falls into the hollow of the expansion part 33.

In addition, the tops of the plurality of ribs 35 and the separation wall 34 protruding inward from the side wall portion 32 have the passage width W of the banknote 6 in the width direction (X direction) of the transport pipe 12 and the reference inter-planar portion distance Dx. It plays a role of narrowing. Thereby, it becomes difficult for the banknote 6 to fall down in the conveyance pipe 12, and the attitude | position of the banknote 6 is hold | maintained along a Y direction. In particular, by providing a plurality of ribs 35, the banknote 6 can be prevented from falling down and sticking to the side wall 32 of the banknote 6 can be effectively prevented. Note that Dx can be increased by the amount of the ribs 35 provided, thereby increasing the cross-sectional area of the transport pipe 12 and making the transport auxiliary body 16 susceptible to the action of airflow.

In the case of the conveyance auxiliary body 16 according to the present embodiment, since the diameter of the large-diameter portion 16c is the largest, the large-diameter portion 16c abuts against the rear end of the banknote 6 and moves as shown in FIG. Become.

FIG. 8 is a sectional view of the turn portion 12b, and FIG. 9 is a perspective view of the turn portion 12b. The turn part 12b connects the conveying pipe 12 with an arc part 13b extending so as to draw a 90 degree arc with the Y direction as a radial direction, a linear part 13c, and a 90 degree arcuate arc part 13b. The path of the conveyance auxiliary body 16 is changed by 180 degrees. The rib 35 and the extended portion 33 are also formed in the turn portion 12b, but the separation wall 34 is not provided so that the conveyance auxiliary body 16 is not caught when moving in an arc shape along the arc portion 13b. The ribs 35 and the extended portion 33 are allowed to escape (the clearance is larger than that of the straight portion) at a portion overlapping the locus when the conveyance auxiliary body 16 passes through the turn portion 12b. Thereby, the rotation radius in the circular arc part 13b of the turn part 12b can be made small. The length of the straight line portion 13c may be appropriately determined according to the distance required between the forward path 12a and the return path 12c depending on the size of the conveyance auxiliary body separating device 22 and the bill taking-in device 24. . The extended portion 33 of the turn portion 12b is provided with two ribs 13a corresponding to the large-diameter portion 16c of the conveyance auxiliary body 16, and restricts the position of the conveyance auxiliary body 16 toward the center in the X direction.

Next, the banknote taking device 24 will be described.

10 shows a front view of the banknote capturing device 24L, and FIG. 11 shows an AA cross section in the banknote capturing device 24L of FIG. FIG. 12 is a left side view (upstream side) of the banknote capturing device 24L, and FIG. 13 is a perspective view of the side surface of the banknote capturing device 24L as viewed from the downstream side. As shown in FIG. 11, the banknote taking-in device 24 includes a cylindrical passage portion 40 that is a part of the conveyance path by connecting the conveyance tube 12 to the conveyance tube connection portions 41 and 42 at both ends, and a passage portion 40. And a rectangular box-shaped main body frame portion 60 provided along.

One end portion of the passage portion 40 is an upstream conveyance tube connection portion 41 to which the upstream conveyance tube 12 is connected, and the other end portion is a downstream conveyance tube connection portion 42 to which the downstream conveyance tube 12 is connected. Yes. An arrow F in the figure indicates the conveyance direction (air flow direction) of the banknote 6 in the conveyance tube 12.

Between the upstream side transport pipe connection part 41 and the downstream side transport pipe connection part 42 is a banknote passage 43 having an inner shape corresponding to the inner shape of the transport pipe 12. An opening 44 serving as an insertion port for taking in the banknote 6 into the banknote path 43 is provided on the wall surface of the banknote path 43 on the main body frame 60 side. The passage portion 40 has a side wall surface provided with an opening 44 and upper and lower wall surfaces erected from both edges of the side wall surface, has a U-shaped cross section, and is formed integrally with the main body frame portion 60. The opening-side passage frame 40A (see FIGS. 12 and 13) and the attachment / detachment that is detachably attached to the opening-side passage frame 40A by a ny latch 47 or the like, forming a wall surface facing the wall surface provided with the opening 44. It is comprised by the wall surface part 40B.

FIG. 14 is a perspective view of the banknote take-in device 24L in a state where the detachable wall surface portion 40B is removed as seen from the oblique upstream side. FIG. 15 is a perspective view showing the inside of the detachable wall surface portion 40B. As shown in FIGS. 12, 14, and 15, on the inner wall of the banknote passage 43 of the passage portion 40, the upstream side transport pipe connecting portion is on the extension line of each rib 35 and separation wall 34 of the transport pipe 12 to be connected. A guide rail 46 is provided extending from the vicinity of 41 in front of the downstream side transport pipe connecting portion 42 and extending in the transport direction F. By being guided by the guide rail 46, the conveyance auxiliary body 16 can pass through the passage portion 40 in a stable posture equivalent to the case where the conveyance auxiliary body 16 passes through the conveyance pipe 12.

However, the guide rail 46 provided on the inner wall on the opening side passage frame 40 </ b> A side is partially interrupted in the vicinity of the opening 44. Specifically, as shown in FIGS. 14 and 16, the ends of the upstream and downstream guide rails 46 that are interrupted before and after the opening 44 are the inner wall surfaces of the opening-side passage frame 40A. It is cut so as to incline obliquely toward the downstream side in the conveying direction from the base on the side toward the top of the guide rail 46, and the obliquely cut end of the upstream guide rail 46 and the downstream guide rail 46 An inclined feeding passage 69 serving as a discharge passage for the banknote 6 is formed between the end portion that is cut obliquely. The bill 6 that has come out between the pair of discharge rollers 64 passes through the feeding passage 69 and is fed into the passage portion 40.

Further, a fall prevention piece 48 is provided for preventing the conveyance auxiliary body 16 from falling from the passage section 40 when the attachment / detachment wall surface section 40B is opened with the conveyance auxiliary body 16 in the passage section 40. The fall prevention piece 48 forms a part of the wall surface facing the side wall surface having the opening 44 of the opening side passage frame 40A, and protrudes about 1 cm from the end of each upper and lower wall surface of the opening side passage frame 40A to the inside of the passage. It is formed as follows.

As shown in FIGS. 10 and 11, a banknote receiving port 61 that accepts banknotes from the game ball lending machine 3 is opened at one end on the front side of the main body frame 60 of the banknote taking-in device 24. The banknote receiving port 61 is a thin rectangular opening slightly longer than the short side of the banknote 6, and accepts the banknote 6 from the short side. As shown in FIG. 11, between the banknote receiving port 61 and the opening portion 44 of the passage portion 40, a standby as a passage for waiting for the banknote 6 to be next fed out from the opening portion 44 through the feeding passage 69 into the banknote passage 43. A portion 62 is formed. The standby section 62 is a narrow passage (curved passage) curved in an S-shape (narrow in the thickness direction of the bill 6) so that one bill 6 can be kept waiting in the curved passage. It has become.

From the banknote receiving port 61, the banknote 6 enters substantially at right angles to the conveyance direction F in the passage portion 40. The curved path of the standby unit 62 is curved approximately 110 degrees so as to follow the conveyance direction immediately after entering from the banknote receiving port 61, and then becomes a substantially linear path, before a pair of discharge rollers 64 described later. The path is turned again to the side of the passage portion 40 and is bent to form a passage for feeding the bill 6 between the pair of discharge rollers 64. In the curved path, the first curve and the subsequent curve are in the direction in which the bill 6 is bent in the opposite direction (concave and convex relationship). Further, instead of gently bending the entire length of the standby portion 62, the standby portion 62 is curved with a relatively small radius in the vicinity of the start end portion and the end end portion of the curved passage.

Thus, since the standby part 62 (curved passage) is curved with irregularities and a small curvature, the folding of the banknote 6 can be extended while the banknote 6 passes through the standby part 62. In particular, it is possible to correct or eliminate the folds along the longitudinal direction of the banknotes, thereby removing or reducing the folds.

The sending unit that transports the banknote 6 waiting in the standby unit 62 into the banknote passage 43 includes a first roller 63 provided in the vicinity of the end on the banknote receiving port 61 side in the curved path of the standby unit 62, and the like. A pair of discharge rollers 64 provided on the end side, a pair of left and right second rollers 66 (see FIGS. 18 and 19) provided between the first roller 63 and the discharge rollers 64, and a passage portion from the discharge rollers 64 A discharge auxiliary belt 65 (see FIG. 16) that feeds the banknotes 6 to the inside 40 (exit of the feeding passage 69), and a motor for driving the first roller 63, the second roller 66, the discharge roller 64, and the discharge auxiliary belt 65 to rotate. And a gear or a transmission belt for transmitting the rotation of the motor to the first roller 63, the second roller 66, and the discharge roller 64.

In the curved path, in the vicinity of the upstream side of the discharge roller 64 (upstream side in the traveling direction of the bill 6 in the standby part 62 (second roller 66 side)), the air flow in the path part 40 is curved from the opening 44. In order to prevent leakage through the passage to the outside, a shutter 90 for closing the curved passage is provided (see FIG. 11). The shutter 90 is rotationally displaced between a closed position and an open position around the rotation shaft 91 and is biased to the closed position by a spring 93.

As shown in FIGS. 10 and 19, the first roller 63 is a narrow roller and presses the banknote 6 that has entered from the banknote receiving port 61 at a substantially central portion in the short side (width) direction of the banknote 6. Then, it rotates in the direction of taking it into the curved passage of the standby unit 62. The pressing force by the first roller 63 is set to be relatively weak so that the game ball lending machine 3 can pull back the banknote 6. Here, the first roller 63 has a polygon (for example, a triangle) with rounded corners. Even if the pressing force against the bill 6 at the corner portion is increased by using the polygonal shape, the pressing force is weakened (or disappears) at the side (string) portion, so that the bill 6 is pulled back by the game ball lending machine 3. Becomes easier. The first roller 63 may be circular. The second roller 66 has the same shape as the first roller 63.

The discharge roller 64 is composed of a pair of cylindrical rollers that are slightly longer than the length of the short side of the bill 6. The surface of the discharge roller 64 has elasticity, and the pair of discharge rollers 64 are arranged so as to be pressed and in close contact with each other, and the banknote 6 is nipped between the pair of discharge rollers 64 and conveyed.

In order to prevent the discharge roller 64 from coming into contact with the large-diameter portion 16c of the conveyance auxiliary body 16 passing through the passage portion 40 (banknote passage 43), the discharge roller 64 is closer to the main body frame 60 side wall surface of the passage portion 40 (banknote passage 43). Is also installed so as not to protrude into the passage portion 40. In the banknote taking-in device 24, in order to reliably feed the banknote 6 into the passage portion 40, it is necessary to send the end of the banknote 6 to the top of the guide rail 46 through the feeding path 69. The discharge auxiliary belt 65 plays a role of feeding the banknote 6 from the discharge roller 64 to the top of the guide rail 46 along the feeding path 69.

Specifically, the discharge assist belt 65 is an annular belt that is stretched along the feed path 69 immediately next to the feed path 69 formed in the interrupted portion of the guide rail 46. As shown in FIGS. 16 and 17, the discharge roller 64A on the downstream side in the transport direction of the pair of discharge rollers 64 is provided with a small-diameter portion 64b (see FIG. 17) having a smaller diameter than other portions. One end of the discharge assist belt 65 is stretched over the portion 64 b, and the other end is spanned over a pulley 65 a provided near the end of the feeding passage 69. The discharge auxiliary belt 65 obtains a driving force from the discharge roller 64A and circulates in the direction of arrow B in FIG.

The discharge assist belt 65 is an annular round belt having a circular cross section of about 2 mm in diameter, and uses rubber having elasticity and a high surface friction coefficient. The diameter of the small diameter portion 64b is set such that the sum of the radius of the small diameter portion 64b and the thickness (diameter) of the discharge auxiliary belt is equal to or less than the radius of the other portion of the discharge roller 64A (here, equal). That is, the discharge auxiliary belt 65 is prevented from protruding from the peripheral surface of the discharge roller 64 at the portion that spans the small diameter portion 64 b. In this example, it is substantially aligned with the peripheral surface of the discharge roller 64.

In addition, as shown in FIG. 16, a guide portion 68 is provided so as to face and follow the discharge assist belt 65 that is stretched obliquely. The guide portion 68 plays a role of bringing the banknote 6 passing through the feeding passage 69 into contact with the discharge assist belt 65.

The discharge auxiliary belt 65 sends the banknote 6 along the feed path 69 to the top of the guide rail 46 after the end of the banknote 6 passes the discharge roller 64. The guide rail 46 corresponds to the rib 35 of the conveyance path 12, and a portion where the guide rail 46 is located is a portion through which the neck 16 b and the constricted portion 16 d having the smallest diameter in the conveyance auxiliary body 16 pass. Therefore, if the end of the bill 6 is sent to the top of the guide rail 46 (exit of the discharge path 69), the bill 6 is not caught between the large diameter portion 16c of the conveyance auxiliary body 16 and the wall surface of the passage portion 40. The banknote 6 can be reliably discharged into the passage portion 40 and conveyed by the conveyance auxiliary body 16.

The curved passage curved in the S shape of the standby unit 62 includes a main body side guide surface 62A that forms an S-shaped curved surface formed on the main body frame portion 60 side of the bill receiving device 24, and a main body side guide surface 62A. And an open / close door 62B provided with an S-shaped curved surface disposed opposite to each other with a predetermined interval. FIG. 18 is a perspective view showing the banknote take-in device 24 in a state in which the open / close door 62B is opened, and FIG. FIG. 20 is a rear view of the banknote capturing device 24 with the opening / closing door 62B removed. FIG. 21 is a perspective view facing the inner side surface 62K of the opening / closing door 62B, and FIG. 22 is a plan view showing the inner side surface 62K side of the opening / closing door 62B.

Of the wall surface facing the main body side guide surface 62A of the curved passage, portions near both ends in the passage width direction of the curved passage are provided on the main body frame 60 side as edge portions 71 along the extending direction of the curved passage. (See FIG. 20). The open / close door 62B constitutes a wall surface of the wall surface facing the main body side guide surface 62A excluding the edge portion 71, and is narrowed by the edge portion 71 from the passage width of the curved passage. The edge portion 71 supports both ends of the banknote 6 in the standby portion 62 in the width direction. Thereby, when the open / close door 62B is opened, the banknote 6 in the standby unit 62 is prevented from falling.

The opening / closing door 62B has a shaft hole 62c (see FIG. 21) provided at a base end near the curved portion on the banknote receiving port 61 side, and a receiving hole 62d (see FIG. 21) opened at a corresponding position on the main body frame 60 side. 19) and is attached to the main body frame 60 so as to be rotatable. Further, a protrusion 62e (see FIG. 21) provided at the front end portion of the opening / closing door 62B and a locking hole 62f on the main body frame portion 60 side opened at a position corresponding to the protrusion 62e of the opening / closing door 62B in a closed state (FIG. 19). And the door 62B is held in a closed state.

As shown in FIGS. 19 to 22, the main body side guide surface 62 </ b> A and the inner side surface 62 </ b> K of the opening / closing door 62 </ b> B that form the curved passage are respectively extended in the curved passage (the conveyance direction of the bills 6 in the curved passage). A plurality of ribs 72 are provided. The rib 72a provided on the main body side guide surface 62A and the rib 72b provided on the inner side surface 62K of the open / close door 62B are provided at positions facing each other. The space between the opposing rib 72a and rib 72b is substantially the passage width (referred to as the inter-rib passage width) in the thickness direction of the bill 6 of the standby portion (curved passage) 62.

The rib 72a on the main body side guide surface 62A side extends from the vicinity of the bill receiving port 61 to the shutter 90 as shown in FIGS. However, the two ribs 72a at both ends in the width direction of the curved passage are partially interrupted in the middle, and the second roller 66 is disposed at that location.

As shown in FIGS. 21 and 22, the rib 72 b of the inner side surface 62 </ b> K of the open / close door 62 </ b> B extends from the bill receiving port 61 to the end of the curved passage. However, in a portion facing the second roller 66, a pressing protrusion 73 is provided so as to sandwich the second roller 66 from both the left and right sides instead of the rib 72b. Further, the rib 72b is partially interrupted at the contact point 74 where the closed shutter 90 contacts.

By providing the ribs 72a and 72b, the bill 6 comes into contact with the ribs 72a and 72b in the curved passage of the standby unit 62, so that it does not come into surface contact with the main body side guide surface 62A and the inner side surface 62K of the open / close door 62B. And the generation of static electricity is reduced, and the bill 6 can be smoothly conveyed in the standby unit 62.

In addition, as shown in FIG. 19, the 1st sensor 81 which detects arrival of the banknote 6 in the vicinity of the banknote receiving port 61 is between the 2nd roller 66 and the shutter 90, and the front-end | tip of the banknote 6 is in this position. A second sensor 82 is provided for detecting the arrival of. Further, a third sensor 83 (see FIG. 11) for detecting the bill 6 passing through this portion is provided in the vicinity of the outlet of the feeding passage 69. When the third sensor 83 changes from on to off, the rear end of the banknote 6 being sent out to the passage portion 40 has finished passing in front of the third sensor 83, that is, the rear end of the banknote 6 is a feeding path. It is detected that the exit from the passage 69 into the passage portion 40 is completed.

As shown in FIG. 28, the third sensor 83 used in this example includes a light emitting unit 83a that irradiates light toward the opposing detachable wall surface part 40B through a passage hole 85a provided in the opening-side passage frame 40A, The light sensor includes a light receiving portion 83b that receives light from the detachable wall surface portion 40B through another passage hole 85b provided in the opening-side passage frame 40A. In the detachable wall portion 40B, a passage hole 85c is opened at a position facing the passage hole 85a of the opening-side passage frame 40A, and a passage hole 85d is opened at a position facing the passage hole 85b of the opening-side passage frame 40A. An optical path changing unit 86 is provided for changing the light path so that the light received through the passage hole 85c is emitted from the passage hole 85d.

The light emitted from the light emitting unit 80a is received by the light receiving unit 80b through the passage hole 85a, the passage hole 85c, the optical path changing unit 86, the passage hole 85d, and the passage hole 85b. The optical path changing unit 86 is configured by a prism or a mirror, and electrical wiring to the optical path changing unit 86 is not necessary. Although the detachable wall surface portion 40B is attached to and detached from the opening-side passage frame 40A, since the electrical wiring to the optical path changing portion is unnecessary, the optical path changing portion does not hinder the attachment and detachment.

Further, as shown in FIG. 29, the third sensor 83 is disposed in the opening-side passage frame 40A, and emits light toward the detachable wall surface portion 40B through the passage hole 85a of the opening-side passage frame 40A. It is good also as an optical sensor provided with the part 83a and the light-receiving part 83b arrange | positioned at the attachment / detachment wall surface part 40B side, and receiving the light from the light emission part 83a through the passage hole 85c of the attachment / detachment wall part 40B.

Next, countermeasures for air leakage will be described.

The mechanism for preventing air leakage from the opening 44 provided in the passage portion 40 of the bill taking-in device 24 includes a shutter 90 and shield structures 76 and 77 that are connected to the shutter 90 and surround the opening 44. Composed.

As shown in FIG. 20, the shutter 90 and the shield structures 76 and 77 form a shield path 79 for preventing air leakage that surrounds the opening 44 and the discharge roller 64 in a substantially rectangular shape. Specifically, a groove 76 is formed on the back surface of the main body frame portion 60 of the bill taking-in device 24 so as to surround the opening 44 and the discharge roller 64 with the shutter 90 so as to surround the substantially rectangular shape. . In other words, a groove 76 is formed in a range excluding the portion of the shutter 90 in the shield path 79 that surrounds the opening 44 and the discharge roller 64 in a substantially rectangular shape.

As shown in FIGS. 21 and 22, the opening / closing door 62 </ b> B has a portion corresponding to the groove 76 of the main body frame portion 60 widened on both sides, and this widened portion becomes a groove 76 when the opening / closing door 62 </ b> B is closed. An engaging edge 77 to be fitted is provided corresponding to the extending range of the groove 76.

When the open / close door 62B is closed, the engagement edge 77 on the open / close door 62B side is fitted into the groove 76 on the main body frame 60 side, and air leakage is prevented. The groove 76 and the engaging edge 77 are interrupted at a portion crossing the curved passage, but air leakage at this portion is prevented by the shutter 90. That is, the shield part by the groove 76 and the engagement edge 77 and the shield part by the shutter 90 are connected to form a shield path 79 that surrounds the opening 44 and the discharge roller 64 in a rectangular shape. Thereby, the airflow flowing through the passage portion 40 is prevented from leaking to the outside through the opening portion 44.

23A and 23B are diagrams showing the shutter 90. FIG. 23A is a front view of the shutter 90, FIG. 23B is a side view thereof, FIG. 23C is a cross-sectional view taken along a broken line C, and FIG. ) Shows cross sections along the broken line D, respectively.

The shutter 90 includes a rotation shaft 91 along one long side of a rectangular movable piece whose long side has a length corresponding to the passage width of the curved passage, and the other long side is about 120 near the end. It has a bent shape. The apex of the bent portion is an abutting portion 92 that abuts against the inner wall of the curved passage (the abutting portion 74 of the inner side surface 62k of the opening / closing door 62B).

As shown in FIG. 11, the shutter 90 has a rotating shaft 91 in such a direction that the abutting portion 92 is closer to the discharge roller 64 than the rotating shaft 91 and the abutting portion 92 faces the inner side surface 62K of the opening / closing door 62B. Is pivotally supported in the main body frame 60 on the main body side guide surface 62A. Further, the shutter 90 is urged by a spring 93 so that the abutting portion 92 abuts on the inner side surface 62K of the open / close door 62B.

When the bill 6 is not in the standby portion 62, the spring 93 is biased so that the contact portion 92 of the shutter 90 is in contact with the contact portion 74 of the inner side surface 62K of the open / close door 62B (as indicated by the broken line in FIG. 11). The air leakage is prevented. When the banknote 6 received from the banknote receiving port 61 is conveyed by the first roller 63 and the second roller 66 and the leading end thereof reaches the shutter 90, the shutter 90 is pushed open as the banknote 6 advances. Since the second roller 66 has a shorter distance to the shutter 90 than the first roller 63, the banknote 6 is less bent between the second roller 66 and the force for pushing the shutter 90 to the banknote 6 can be efficiently applied. it can.

As shown in FIG. 23, the abutting portion 92 of the shutter 90 is a narrow portion 92b that is narrower than the other portions at locations corresponding to the ribs 72b (see FIG. 22) provided on the inner surface 62K of the open / close door 62B. It has become. The narrow passage 92b is notched on the upstream side of the curved path (the banknote receiving port 61 side) and the downstream side, thereby forming an upstream recess 94a and a downstream recess 94b. Further, on the surface facing the upstream side of the shutter 90, concave portions 96 are provided in various places so as to reduce the contact resistance with the bill 6 and the generation of static electricity.

As shown in FIGS. 21 and 22, the rib 72b formed on the inner side surface 62K of the opening / closing door 62B is partially at the contact portion 74 where the contact portion 92 of the shutter 90 contacts when the opening / closing door 62B is closed. Is interrupted. The upstream end of the rib 72bD on the downstream side of the curved path from the contact portion 74 of the shutter 90 is gradually lowered toward the contact portion 74, and the height before reaching the contact portion 92 is increased. Is zero.

The downstream end of the rib 72bU on the upstream side of the curved path from the contact portion 74 of the shutter 90 includes a wide portion 72f that is wider than the other portions and a protrusion 72g that slightly protrudes further downstream from the wide portion 72f. Yes. The width of the wide portion 72f is the same as that of the rib 72b, and the width of the wide portion 72f is wider than the width of the upstream recess 94a of the shutter 90. Further, the upstream and downstream end surfaces of the wide passage 72f are inclined obliquely. The inclination of the end face of the wide portion 72f on the upstream side of the curved passage is the same as the slope formed by the upstream surface of the curved passage of the shutter 90 in a state where the contact portion 92 is in contact with the closed door 62B. The protrusion 72g has the same width as the normal portion of the rib 72b.

As shown in FIGS. 24A and 25, when the open / close door 62B is closed, the contact portion 92 of the shutter 90 contacts the contact portion 74 of the inner side surface 62K of the open / close door 62B. Further, in the narrow portion 92b of the contact portion 92, the protrusion 72g at the tip of the rib 72bU of the opening / closing door 62B is engaged with the upstream recess 94a.

When the banknote 6 from the banknote receiving port 61 reaches the shutter 90 in this state, as shown in FIG. 24B, the tip of the banknote 6 is supported by the wide portion 72f of the rib 72bU. The banknote 6 supported by the wide part 72f further advances straight while pushing the shutter 90 slightly open ((c) in the figure). Since the protrusion 72g of the rib 72bU extends into the upstream depression 94a of the shutter 90 as shown in FIG. 5B, even when the shutter 90 is slightly opened as shown in FIG. The tip of the banknote 6 is supported by the protrusion 72g. When the bill 6 further advances, the tip of the bill 6 exceeds the top of the shutter 90 as shown in FIG.

In this way, the wide portion 72f and the protrusion 72g of the rib 72bU support the surface opposite to the shutter 90 at the front end of the bill 6 until the front end of the bill 6 exceeds the top of the contact portion 92 of the shutter 90. The front end of the banknote 6 can go straight without being bent, and the shutter 90 can be pushed open. In addition, since the width of the contact portion 92 is reduced, resistance and friction when the bill 6 pushes the shutter 90 open is reduced, and the tip of the bill 6 can easily get over the contact portion 92 of the shutter 90.

Further, as shown in FIGS. 24 (a) and 25, with the open / close door 62B closed, the inclined surface on the downstream side of the curved passage of the wide portion 72f is in contact with the upstream side surface of the shutter 90 in substantially parallel to the upstream side. The side depression 94a is covered and closed from the upstream side. The narrow portion 92b has a smaller contact area with the contact portion 74 of the opening / closing door 62B than the other portions of the contact portion 92, and the air leakage prevention action is weakened. By preventing 94a, the effect of preventing air leakage is reinforced.

Further, as shown in FIG. 24 (d), the end of the rib 72bD on the downstream side of the curved passage of the shutter 90 is configured to gradually increase in height from a state where the height is almost zero. The leading edge of the banknote 6 that has passed over the portion 92 can smoothly ride on the rib 72bD without being caught by the end of the rib 72bD.

FIG. 26 shows the operation from when the bill taking-in device 24L receives the bill 6 until it is fed into the passage portion 40. When the bill 6 arrives from the game ball lending machine 3 and the first sensor 81 detects its tip (see FIG. 26A), the bill taking-in device 24L drives the motor, and the bill is taken by the first roller 63. 6 is taken into the curved passage (standby section 62) and sent out. Thereafter, when the second sensor 82 detects the leading edge of the banknote 6, the motor is stopped, and the banknote 6 waits at a standby position before the leading edge of the banknote 6 reaches the shutter 90 (see FIG. 5B). At the standby position, the shutter 90 is closed, and a state without air leakage is maintained. The control unit (not shown) is notified that the banknote 6 is waiting at the standby position, and the control unit that receives the notification transmits a banknote discharge permission signal to the banknote capturing device 24L.

Receiving this, the bill take-in device 24L drives the motor to rotate the second roller 66 and the discharge roller 64. As the discharge roller 64 rotates, the discharge auxiliary belt 65 also circulates. The banknote 6 in the standby position is sent to the second roller 66, passes over the shutter 90, is further conveyed by the discharge roller 64 and the discharge auxiliary belt 65, and advances into the path portion 40 (banknote path 43) through the feeding path 69 ( (See (c) in the figure). The third sensor 83 is turned on when the bill 6 starts to be delivered from the feeding passage 69 to the passage portion 40. When the bill 6 is further conveyed and the end of the bill 6 passes through the third sensor 83 and the third sensor 83 is turned off (see FIG. 4D), the motor is stopped. Thereby, it will be in the state sent to the inside of the channel | path part 40 completely to the terminal end of the banknote 6. FIG.

When the banknote take-in device 24 completes the delivery of the banknote 6 to the passage section 40, it notifies the control section to that effect. The control part which received this collects this banknote 6 by sending out the conveyance auxiliary body 16 from the conveyance auxiliary body insertion apparatus 21.

Next, the difference between the banknote capturing device 24R and the banknote capturing device 24L will be described.

FIG. 27 shows a cross section of the bill taking-in device 24R. In the banknote capturing device 24L, the upstream side transport pipe connecting portion 41 is provided at the end of the passage section 40 on the banknote receiving port 61 side, and the downstream side transport pipe connecting section 42 is provided at the other end. In the device 24R, the upstream-side transport pipe connecting portion 41 and the downstream-side transport pipe connecting portion 42 are oppositely arranged. That is, the end on the side where the banknote receiving port 61 is located is the downstream side in the transport direction.

For this reason, the construction direction of the discharge assist belt 65 and the extending direction of the feeding passage 69 are opposite to the banknote taking-in device 24L. That is, in the banknote capturing device 24R, the banknote receiving port 61 is located on the downstream side in the transport direction from the pair of discharge rollers 64, and the standby portion (curved passage) 62 extends from the downstream side in the transport direction to the upstream. A discharge auxiliary belt 65 is stretched from the discharge roller 64 on the banknote receiving port 61 side toward the downstream side in the conveying direction, and a feeding passage 69 is formed. In the banknote taking-in device 24R, the path of the banknote 6 is curved at the portion of the discharge roller 64 so as to be reversed by approximately 180 degrees.

Except for the differences in the arrangement of the standby unit 62 and the discharge assist belt 65 as described above, the bill taking device 24R and the bill taking device 24L have the same configuration.

By using the banknote capturing device 24R and the banknote capturing device 24L, the banknote receiving position from the game ball lending machine 3 on the front surface side of the gaming machine island 2 and the banknote receiving position from the game ball lending machine 3 on the back surface side The game ball lending machine 3 and the game machine 4 can be arranged on the front and back of the game machine island 2 in a well-balanced manner.

Next, the air volume adjustment in the conveyance pipe 12 will be described.

(1) Air volume adjustment at time-over The control unit that controls the operation of the paper sheet transport apparatus 10 is a transport auxiliary body from the start end (transport auxiliary body inserting apparatus 21) of the transport pipe 12 (outward path 12a) into the transport pipe 12. If the conveyance auxiliary body 16 that has finished conveying the banknote 6 does not reach the predetermined position even after a predetermined time has elapsed after the 16 has been sent out, the amount of air flowing through the conveyance pipe 12 is reduced to the normal amount up to that time. Control the air volume to be greater than the air volume.
Predetermined positions are the end portion (conveyance auxiliary body separating unit 22) of the transport pipe 12 (return path 12b), the start end (conveyance auxiliary body insertion device 21) of the transport pipe 12 (outward path 12a), and the like. A sensor such as an optical sensor that detects that the conveyance auxiliary body 16 has arrived is provided at a predetermined position.

In addition, the control unit holds the banknote 6 in the safe even if a predetermined time has elapsed after the conveyance auxiliary body 16 is sent into the conveyance pipe 12 from the start end (conveyance auxiliary body inserting device 21) of the conveyance pipe 12 (outward path 12a). Similarly, when it is not detected that the transfer has been completed, the air volume flowing in the transfer pipe 12 is controlled to be larger than the normal air volume.

After increasing the air volume, the control unit returns to the normal air volume when it detects that the conveyance auxiliary body 16 reaches a predetermined position or the banknotes are collected in the safe 5. On the other hand, when the conveyance auxiliary body 16 reaches a predetermined position or no banknote is collected in the safe 5 even if the air volume is increased, the control unit controls the air volume flowing in the conveyance pipe 12 to be further increased.

In order to realize the air volume adjustment, the air flow generator 14 may be a brushless motor or an injection motor, and one or a plurality of auxiliary air flow generators are arranged between the start end portion and the end end portion of the transport pipe 12. It may be. When the airflow generator 14 is a brushless motor or an injection motor, the control unit increases the frequency output from the inverter to the airflow generator 14 (brushless motor, injection motor), and the airflow generator 14 (brushless motor). By adjusting the rotation speed of the injection motor), control is performed so that the amount of air flowing in the transport pipe 12 is larger than the normal amount of air until then. When the auxiliary airflow generation device is arranged, the auxiliary airflow generation device may be controlled to be turned off when the normal airflow is set, and the auxiliary airflow generation device is turned on when the airflow is increased. The installation location of the auxiliary airflow generator can be, for example, before the turn portion 12b. Further, the rotation speed of the brushless motor or the injection motor may be adjusted by changing the magnitude of the voltage in the control unit. In this embodiment, an injection motor is employed as the motor of the air flow generator 14.

In the gaming machine island 2 shown in FIG. 1 and FIG. 2, the forward path 12a and the backward path 12c are arranged vertically so that the forward path 12a is located directly below the backward path 12c. If there is a pillar, the width of the gaming machine island 2 must be widened and the pillar 8 of the building must be taken inside the island, and the arrangement of the transport pipe 12 of the paper sheet transport device 10 is, for example, As shown in FIG. The configuration of the turn portion 12b is different from that shown in FIGS. 8 and 9, and the conveyance path conveys the U-shaped curve in a substantially horizontal plane while keeping the axis of the conveyance auxiliary body 16 vertical. It has become.

In the gaming machine island 2 shown in FIG. 30, the bill taking-in device 24L is also interposed in the middle of the forward path 12a. An air intake hole is formed in the outer wall portion (for example, the expansion portion 33) of the bent portion of the turn portion 12b on the forward path 12a side, and a first auxiliary air flow is generated at the other end of the duct communicating with the hole. A device 15a is provided. In addition, an air suction hole is formed in the outer wall portion of the bent portion of the turn portion 12b on the return path 12c side, and a second auxiliary airflow generator 15b is provided at the other end of the duct communicating with the hole. is there. The first auxiliary airflow generator 15a is a blower that blows air into the turn part 12b toward the return path 12c. On the other hand, the second auxiliary airflow generator 15b is a suction blower that acts to suck out the air in the turn portion 12b. A passage sensor 26 that detects passage of the banknote 6 and the conveyance auxiliary body 16 is provided in the middle of the turn portion 12b.

The banknote 6 and the conveyance auxiliary body 16 are located upstream of the second auxiliary airflow generator (suction blower) 15b (before the passage sensor 26 detects the banknote 6 and the conveyance auxiliary body 16, the position of the arrow A in FIG. 30). When moving, the air flow generator 14 is turned on, the first auxiliary air flow generator (blower blower) 15a is turned off, and the second auxiliary air flow generator (suction blower) 15b is turned on (suction assist operation). And). Thereby, the banknote 6 and the conveyance auxiliary | assistant body 16 are attracted | sucked from the front by drawing in the airflow by the 2nd auxiliary | assistant airflow generator (suction blower) 15b while receiving the airflow which the airflow generator 14 generate | occur | produces from back. , Move downstream.

When the conveyance auxiliary body 16 moves on the downstream side of the first auxiliary air flow generator (blower blower) 15a (the position indicated by the arrow B in FIG. 30 after the passage sensor 26 detects the banknote 6 or the conveyance auxiliary body 16). The air flow generator 14 is turned on, the first auxiliary air flow generator (air blower) 15a is turned on, and the second auxiliary air flow generator (suction blower) 15b is turned off (push assist operation). Thereby, the banknote 6 and the conveyance auxiliary body 16 receive both the airflow which the airflow generation apparatus 14 generate | occur | produces, and the airflow from the 1st auxiliary | assistant airflow generation apparatus (air blower) 15a from back, and move downstream. .

And when the banknote 6 and the conveyance auxiliary body 16 reach | attain the conveyance auxiliary body isolation | separation part 22, when there exists a standby banknote in the banknote taking-in apparatus 24, the airflow generator 14 is ON and the 1st auxiliary | assistant airflow generation | occurrence | production The device (blower blower) 15a is turned off and the second auxiliary airflow generator (suction blower) 15b is turned on. When there is no standby bill in the bill take-in device 24, the airflow generator 14, the first auxiliary The air flow generator (blower blower) 15a and the second auxiliary air flow generator (suction blower) 15b are all turned off.

For example, when the above-described time-over occurs, if the passage sensor 26 does not detect the bill 6 or the conveyance auxiliary body 16 before the time-over, the suction assisting operation is performed because the passage sensor 26 stops on the upstream side. And if the passage sensor 26 detects the banknote 6 or the conveyance auxiliary body 16 after starting suction assistance operation | movement, it will switch to pushing assistance operation | movement. On the other hand, if the passage sensor 26 has already detected the banknote 6 or the conveyance auxiliary body 16 before the time is over, it is assumed that the passage sensor 26 has stopped downstream from the passage sensor 26, and thus a push assist operation is performed. In addition, although the installation position of the passage sensor 26 is provided in the middle of the turn part 12b in FIG. 30, after detecting the banknote 6 and the conveyance auxiliary body 16, it is surely 1st airflow generator (blower blower) 15a. And the second air flow generator (suction blower) 15b are switched on and off to switch from the suction assist operation to the push assist operation, the passage sensor 26 should be installed closer to the first air flow generator (blower blower) 15a. Good. That is, since there is a time lag associated with the stop / start of the fan motor in switching from the suction assisting operation to the pushing assisting operation, the banknote 6 or the like before the passage through the second auxiliary airflow generator (suction blower) 15b So that the switching of the passage sensor 26 is performed closer to the first auxiliary airflow generator (blower blower) 15a.

(3) Air volume adjustment after power supply restoration Even when the power supply of paper sheet transport device 10 is turned off during operation due to the influence of a power failure or the like, the power flows through the transport pipe 12 in the same manner as the control at the time-over. By generating a larger air volume than that during continuous operation (normal operation), the air flow is again applied to the conveyance auxiliary body 16 staying in the conveyance pipe 12 to push and move the bill 6. Becomes easier. In the case of the gaming machine island in FIG. 30, when the power is restored from the power failure, first, a suction assisting operation is performed, and when the passage sensor 26 detects the bill 6 or the transport assisting body 16, or a predetermined time has elapsed since the suction assisting operation started. Even when the bill 6 or the conveyance auxiliary body 16 cannot be detected, the operation may be switched to the push assist operation.

(4) Air volume adjustment according to the number of banknotes transported The air volume flowing through the transport pipe 12 may be changed according to the number of banknotes 6 that the transport auxiliary body 16 pushes and moves in the same manner as when the time is over. . When collecting a predetermined number or more of banknotes 6 at a time, the conveyance auxiliary body 16 may be sent out from the conveyance auxiliary body inserting apparatus 21 into the conveyance pipe 12 after the air volume is increased in advance.

The embodiment of the present invention has been described with reference to the drawings. However, the specific configuration is not limited to that shown in the embodiment, and there are changes and additions within the scope of the present invention. Are also included in the present invention.

The configuration of the shutter 90 is not limited to that shown in the embodiment. For example, it may be configured to be displaced between a closed position and an open position by power such as a solenoid. In addition, the position of the installation location of the shutter 90 is not limited to the position shown in the embodiment as long as air leakage from the opening 44 can be prevented. For example, a shutter may be provided on the exit side of the discharge roller 64.

Further, the shield structure by the groove 76 and the engagement edge 77 and the range surrounded by the shutter 90 (shield path 79) are set to be as small as possible. However, the range surrounding the opening 44 and the discharge roller 64 may be changed as appropriate. It doesn't matter.

In addition, although the shield structure that prevents air leakage by fitting the groove 76 and the engagement edge 77 is used, another configuration that can prevent air leakage may be used. For example, a structure in which a packing is sandwiched between the main body frame portion 60 and the open / close door 62B may be used.

Moreover, the shape of the conveyance auxiliary body 16 is not limited to what was shown in embodiment. For example, it is good also as columnar shapes, such as a cross-sectional rectangle and a polygon. Moreover, although the conveyance auxiliary body 16 was made into the object shape with respect to the Y direction center part, you may make it an asymmetrical shape in a Y direction.

In the embodiment, the bill 6 is described as an example of the paper sheets, but other types of paper sheets such as tickets and cards may be used. Moreover, the shape of paper sheets is not limited to a rectangle. Further, the paper sheet transporting apparatus 10 is not limited to the one installed in the gaming machine island 2, and may be configured to go around a plurality of gaming machine islands 2 or a management room in the game hall, for example. The management room is separated from the amusement hall where the gaming machine is installed, and the monitoring device that displays information from the management device that manages the gaming machine and the surveillance camera that monitors the gaming hall, the ball rental machine of the gaming hall, etc. This room is equipped with a safe and the like for storing money from the ball lending, and the playground managers and employees manage the entire playground.

In the embodiment, an example in which only one sheet is conveyed is shown in FIG. 3 and the like. However, when the conveyance auxiliary body 16 is inserted in a state where a plurality of banknotes 6 exist in the middle of the conveyance tube 12. It is also possible to transport the plurality of banknotes 6 at a time. For example, when the conveyance auxiliary body 16 is fed from the conveyance auxiliary body insertion device 21 in a state where the banknotes 6 are stopped at the completion positions of the respective banknote acquisition devices 24 in the middle of the return path 12c of the conveyance pipe 12, the conveyance assistance is performed. The number of banknotes 6 that the body 16 pushes increases in order on the way through the return path 12c, so that all banknotes 6 can be conveyed. Such a large conveying force is due to the fact that the conveyance auxiliary body 16 has a shape that substantially closes the cross section of the conveyance tube 12, the sticking adsorption of the banknote 6 is reduced, and the presence of the expansion portion 33. It is ensured by the large area that receives the action of In addition, since the conveyance auxiliary body 16 has a columnar shape that does not deform, a large number of sheets can be conveyed at a time, which is not realized with a wing or the like.

In the embodiment, the cross section of the transfer tube 12 is substantially rectangular, but may be other shapes such as a circle or an ellipse. However, it is preferable that the conveyance auxiliary body closes substantially the entire cross section with a shape corresponding to the inner edge shape. Moreover, it is good to provide a some rib and to narrow the substantial channel | path width | variety of paper sheets.

In addition, the gaming machine island is not limited to the configuration that accommodates the pachinko machine and gaming ball lending machine exemplified in the embodiment, and may be a gaming machine island that accommodates medal lending machines and slot machines.
