Abstract
【解決手段】着用者の傷害を防止するための整形外科装具であって、該整形外科装具は、一連の液体充填領域を有する本体を含み、前記本体は、前記液体充填領域が液体材料を収容するより可撓性の第1の状態と、前記領域内の液体がより硬質の第2の状態に硬化されるより剛性の第2の状態と、を有し、前記本体は、所定の値を越えた力を受けると、前記第1の状態から前記第2の状態に転移可能である、ことを特徴とする整形外科装具。化学反応または等温過程が相変化を引き起こすことができる。

Description
液体充填セクションを有する装具を提供し、
前記装具に加えられた外力または内力の少なくとも1つを測定し、
前記加えられた外力または内力を所定の値と比較し、
前記測定された加えられた外力または内力が前記所定の値を越えた場合には、前記液体充填セクションを固体充填セクションに転移させて前記装具を剛化する、ことを特徴とする方法が提供される。

Claims (13)
- 着用者の傷害を防止するための整形外科装具であって、該整形外科装具は、一連の液体充填領域を有する本体を含み、前記本体は、前記液体充填領域が液体材料を収容するより可撓性の第1の状態と、前記領域内の液体がより硬質の第2の状態に硬化されるより剛性の第2の状態と、を有し、前記本体は、所定の値を越えた力を受けると、前記第1の状態から前記第2の状態に転移可能である、ことを特徴とする整形外科装具。
- 前記力は、前記本体に加えられた外力である、ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の整形外科装具。
- 前記力は、前記本体に加えられた内力である、ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の整形外科装具。
- 前記液体充填領域は、実質的に鉛直配向に、または、実質的に水平配向に、または、斜め配向に配置された包囲された区画室である、ことを特徴とする請求項1ないし3のいずれか1項に記載の整形外科装具。
- 前記本体に位置決めされ、前記本体に加えられた前記力を検出する少なくとも1つのセンサをさらに含む、ことを特徴とする請求項1ないし4のいずれか1項に記載の整形外科装具。
- 前記センサは、前記加えられた力を測定し、前記力が前記所定の値を越えた場合に前記液体を活性化させる信号を送り、前記力が予め設定された値を越えない場合には、着用者の可動性を維持するために、前記液体がその液体状態に維持され、前記装具がより剛性の状態に転移されないように、前記信号を送るのを差し控える、ことを特徴とする請求項5に記載の整形外科装具。
- 前記液体は、第2の液体と混合することによってもたらされる化学反応によってより剛性の状態に転移される、ことを特徴とする請求項1ないし6のいずれか1項に記載の整形外科装具。
- 前記液体は、前記液体の温度の変化によってより剛性の状態に転移される、ことを特徴とする請求項1ないし6のいずれか1項に記載の整形外科装具。
- 第2の液体が前記液体充填区画室内に圧送されて前記本体を第2の状態に転移させる、ことを特徴とする請求項1ないし6のいずれか1項に記載の整形外科装具。
- 前記第2の液体は、前記第2の液体を収容する膜を破ることによって前記区画室内の前記液体と混合される、ことを特徴とする請求項9に記載の整形外科装具。
- 前記一連の液体充填領域は、前記本体の外面の内部に位置決めされている、ことを特徴とする請求項1ないし10のいずれか1項に記載の整形外科装具。
- 前記液体材料は、可撓性の装具を、装具の着用者の関節へのさらなる衝撃に耐える剛性の保護装置に転移させるより固体状態への相転移を受ける、ことを特徴とする請求項1ないし6のいずれか1項に記載の整形外科装具。
- 前記少なくとも1つのセンサは、前記本体によって支持され、前記本体の種々の領域に加わる衝撃を検出するように間隔を隔てて配置された複数のセンサを含む、ことを特徴とする請求項5ないし12のいずれか1項に記載の整形外科装具。
