Description

The present invention relates to a relative movement member and a lens barrel.

Conventionally, an elastic shielding member is attached to the outer cylinder so as to close the gap between the inner cylinder and the outer cylinder, and water is prevented from entering the lens barrel from the gap between the inner cylinder and the outer cylinder. There are lens barrels and cameras. At that time, in order to lower the sliding frictional resistance between the elastic shielding member and the inner cylinder, the sliding resistance is reduced by applying a diamond-like carbon film on the sliding surface on the inner cylinder side of the elastic shielding member ( Patent Document 1).

According to the present invention, it is possible to provide a relative movement member and a lens barrel in which sliding resistance between two members that move relative to each other is further reduced.

It is a figure which shows notionally the longitudinal cross-section in the imaging | photography standby state of the camera to which one Embodiment of this invention is applied. It is a figure which shows notionally the longitudinal cross-section of the camera in which a lens-barrel is in a retracted state. It is sectional drawing of the edge part by the side of the to-be-photographed object side of a fixed cylinder, (a) shows the state in which the movable cylinder is arrange | positioned inside a fixed cylinder, (b) shows the state in which the movable cylinder is not arrange | positioned. It is a figure explaining a contact angle.

Embodiments of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 is a diagram conceptually showing a longitudinal section in a shooting standby state of a camera 1 to which an embodiment of the present invention is applied. FIG. 2 is a diagram conceptually showing a longitudinal section of the camera 1 in a state in which the lens barrel 10 is retracted (a state in which the lens barrel 10 is housed in the camera body 2, a contracted cylinder state).

In each drawing, an XYZ orthogonal coordinate system is provided as appropriate for easy explanation and understanding. In this coordinate system, the direction toward the left side as viewed from the photographer at the position of the camera 1 when the photographer shoots a horizontally long image with the optical axis OA being horizontal (hereinafter referred to as a normal position) is defined as the X plus direction. Further, the direction toward the upper side in the normal position is defined as the Y plus direction. Further, the direction toward the subject at the normal position is defined as the Z plus direction.

The camera 1 is a digital camera composed of a camera body 2 and a lens barrel 10.
The camera body 2 includes an image sensor 3 inside a housing 2A.
The image pickup device 3 is fixed to the image pickup device base 4 so that the image pickup surface is orthogonal to the optical axis OA of the lens barrel 10.
The imaging device 3 converts an image formed on the imaging surface by the lens barrel 10 into an electrical signal and outputs the electrical signal.

The lens barrel 10 is a so-called collapsible zoom lens that is housed in the camera body 2 when not in use and protrudes from the camera body 2 and can change the focal length (zooming) when in use.
That is, the lens barrel 10 is housed inside the camera body 2 as shown in FIG. 2 in a non-shadow state where the power supply is stopped, and when the power is supplied, the camera body 2 as shown in FIG. Projects to the front side of the camera and enters a shooting standby state.

The lens barrel 10 includes two sets of lens groups (a first lens group L1 and a second lens group L2) that form an imaging optical system in the camera 1.
These two lens groups form a subject image on the imaging surface of the image sensor 3. In the lens barrel 10, the focal length is changed and focusing is performed by moving the lens groups L1 and L2 in the direction of the optical axis OA.

In the camera 1, the lens group (first lens group L 1, second lens group L 2) provided in the lens barrel 10 forms subject image light on the light receiving surface of the image sensor, and the release button (not shown) by the photographer is displayed. The image information of the subject converted into an electric signal by the image sensor 3 is recorded (photographed) in a storage device (not shown) by the pressing operation. All the operation control in the camera 1 including the photographing is performed by a control device in the camera 1 (not shown).

Next, the lens barrel 10 will be described in detail.
As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the lens barrel 10 includes a fixed cylinder 11 positioned in the housing 2 </ b> A, and a first group moving cylinder 15 and a second group moving cylinder 17 disposed inside the fixed cylinder 11. The fixed cylinder 11, the first group moving cylinder 15, and the second group moving cylinder 17 are arranged in a multistage manner with the diameter sequentially reduced in the Y-axis direction.
The first group moving cylinder 15 includes a first lens chamber 16 that holds the first group lens unit L1 on the front side. A second group moving cylinder 17 is inserted on the inner peripheral side of the first group moving cylinder 15. A second lens chamber 18 that holds the second lens unit L <b> 2 is disposed on the inner circumference side of the second group moving cylinder 17.

Hereinafter, each component in the lens barrel 10 will be described in order.
The fixed cylinder 11 is provided with a rotating cylinder driving helicoid groove 11A for moving and driving the first group moving cylinder 15 on the inner peripheral surface thereof.

The first group moving cylinder 15 is slidably fitted to the inner periphery of the fixed cylinder 11.
On the outer periphery of the first group moving cylinder 15, a driving pin 12 </ b> A that protrudes into the rotating cylinder driving helicoid groove 11 </ b> A of the fixed cylinder 11 is slidably provided.
A retractable / zoom drive motor (not shown) is connected to the first group moving cylinder 15. Thus, the first group moving cylinder 15 is driven to rotate by the retractable / zoom driving motor.

The second group moving cylinder 17 is fitted to the inner periphery of the first group moving cylinder 15 so as to be slidable.
A follower pin 17 </ b> A protrudes from the outer periphery of the second group moving cylinder 17 in the vicinity of the rear side end. The follower pin 17A is slidably fitted in the cam groove 15B of the first group moving cylinder 15.

With the configuration as described above, the lens barrel 10 has a photographing standby state in which the first group moving cylinder 15 and the second group moving cylinder 17 protrude from the fixed cylinder 11 by a predetermined amount as shown in FIG. 1, and as shown in FIG. The first group moving cylinder 15 and the second group moving cylinder 17 contract / extend between the retracted state in which the first group moving cylinder 15 and the second group moving cylinder 17 are almost accommodated in the fixed cylinder 11.

3A and 3B are cross-sectional views of the vicinity of the subject-side end of the fixed cylinder 11, in which FIG. The state where is not arranged.
As shown in the figure, a first elastic ring member 20 is attached to the end surface of the fixed cylinder 11 on the subject side. The first elastic annular member 20 includes an attachment portion 21 having an annular shape and a rectangular cross section, and a shielding portion 22 that extends from the attachment portion 21 toward the inner diameter side and is thinner than the attachment portion 21. In this embodiment, the attachment part 21 and the shielding part 22 are integrally formed.

The attachment portion 21 of the first elastic ring member 20 is attached to the end surface of the fixed cylinder 11 on the subject side. The shielding portion 22 extending from the attachment portion 21 is disposed so as to protrude toward the inner surface 11B side of the fixed cylinder 11. A diamond-like carbon (DLC) film 23 is formed on one surface of the shielding portion 22.
The shield 22 extends linearly in the radial direction as shown in FIG. 3B when the first group moving cylinder 15 is not disposed on the inner periphery. However, the inner diameter of the shielding part 22 is smaller than the outer diameter of the first group moving cylinder 15. Therefore, in the state of FIG. 3A (assembled state) in which the first group moving cylinder 15 is disposed on the inner diameter side of the shielding part 22, the shielding part 22 is curved, and the portion on the first group moving cylinder 15 side is 1. It contacts the outer peripheral surface 15B of the group moving cylinder 15 (the surface facing the inner surface 11B of the fixed cylinder 11). In this case, the shielding portion 22 is in a state of shielding the gap between the inner surface 11B of the fixed tube 11 and the outer peripheral surface 15B of the first group moving tube 15.

The one surface on which the DLC film 23 is formed is a surface that is curved and comes into contact with the first group moving cylinder 15. Further, this surface is a surface facing the inner side of the camera 1 or the lens barrel 10.
On the other hand, a fluorine film 15 </ b> A is formed on the outer peripheral surface 15 </ b> B of the first group moving cylinder 15.

Returning to FIGS. 1 and 2, the housing 2A includes an opening 2B on the subject side.
A fixed cylinder 11 is inserted into the opening 2B, and the fixed cylinder 11 slightly protrudes toward the subject side of the opening 2B.
A second elastic ring member 30 is attached to the subject side near the opening 2B of the subject side housing 2A. The second elastic ring member 30 has the same shape as the first elastic ring member 20, and is attached to the subject side of the edge of the opening 2B of the housing 2A.

Here, since the housing 2 </ b> A and the fixed cylinder 11 do not move relative to each other in the present embodiment, the DLC film is not formed on the first elastic ring member 20. Further, no fluorine film is formed on the outer periphery of the fixed cylinder 11.

A decorative ring 40 is attached to the subject side (Z plus side) of the first elastic ring member 20 and the second elastic ring member 30.
The decorative ring 40 is an annular member having a small diameter toward the subject side. The end portion on the large diameter side is bonded to the camera housing 2 </ b> A and covers the subject side of the attachment portion 31 of the second elastic ring member 30, the shielding portion 32, and the attachment portion 21 of the first elastic ring member 20.

In this embodiment, when the first group moving cylinder 15 moves relative to the fixed cylinder 11 (moving from the retracted state to the photographing standby state or moving from the photographing standby state to the retracted state), the DLC 23 film of the shielding unit 22 is used. However, the first group moving cylinder 15 moves on the fluorine film 15A in a state in contact with the fluorine film 15A. Accordingly, the sliding frictional resistance of the first group moving cylinder 15 with respect to the fixed cylinder 11 is reduced, and the movement of the first group moving cylinder 15 with respect to the fixed cylinder 11 in the direction of the optical axis OA becomes smooth.

Further, since the shielding portions 22 and 23 are provided, moisture does not enter the gap between the fixed cylinder 11 and the first group moving cylinder 15 even when used in rain or high humidity.
Further, since the DLC 23 film has high hydrophobicity and the fluorine film 15A has high water repellency, it repels moisture, so that the possibility of water intrusion into the gap between the fixed cylinder 11 and the first group moving cylinder 15 is smaller. Become.
Further, the shielding portions 22 and 23 prevent not only moisture but also dust from entering the gap between the fixed cylinder 11 and the first group moving cylinder 15.

A DLC film may be formed on the outer periphery of the first group moving cylinder 15 and a fluorine film may be formed on the shielding part 22. However, in this case, the area for forming the DLC film is larger than the case where the DLC film is formed on the shielding portion 22 and the fluorine film is formed on the outer periphery of the first group moving cylinder 15. Will be large and costly.
According to this embodiment, since the DLC film is formed in the shielding part 22, it is not necessary to enlarge the equipment for forming the DLC film.

Furthermore, according to the present embodiment, since the decorative ring 40 is attached, a gap between the fixed cylinder 11 and the first group moving cylinder 15 and a gap housing 2A between the fixed cylinder 11 and the first group moving cylinder 15 are provided. Water and dust can be prevented from entering the gap between the fixed cylinder 11 and the fixed cylinder 11. Further, since the decorative ring 40 is provided, the outer sides (subject side, outer side) of the first elastic ring member 20 and the second elastic ring member 30 are covered, and the appearance as the camera 1 is not impaired.

The preferred embodiment of the present invention has been described above, but the present invention is not limited to this, and the film formed on the shielding part 22 is not limited to DLC, and may be other hydrophobic films. Further, the film formed on the first group moving cylinder 15 is not limited to the fluorine film but may be another water-repellent film.
