Abstract
Description
図2〜図9には、水を処理するために用いることができる電気透析ユニット8のある実施形態が示されている。この電気透析ユニットは、図1のバラスト水処理システムに用いられてもよいし、または他の適切ないかなる水処理システムに用いられてもよい。この電気透析ユニットは、処理効果の実現にあたって、単独で用いられてもよいし、またはそれに代えて、他の水処理デバイスと組み合わせて用いられてもよい。
Claims (19)
- 水を処理するための電気透析ユニットであって、
膜セルと、
流入する水の温度を監視するための温度監視デバイスと、
前記流入する水が前記膜セルに到達する前に前記流入する水の温度を上げるためのヒーターとを備えており、
前記ヒーターが、前記流入する水の元の温度が前もって決められたレベル未満である時、前記流入する水の温度を上げるよう動作するように構成されてなる、電気透析ユニット。 - 前記電気透析ユニットが、海水の処理、好ましくはバラスト水の処理をするためのものである、請求項1に記載の電気透析ユニット。
- 前記ヒーターが廃熱により加熱力が供給されるように構成されてなる、請求項1または3に記載の電気透析ユニット。
- 前記ヒーターが、エンジン、たとえば船のエンジンからの廃熱により加熱力が供給されるように構成されてなる、請求項3に記載の電気透析ユニット。
- 前記ヒーターが、前記元の温度が10℃未満である時、前記流入する水の温度を上げるよう動作するように構成されてなる、請求項1乃至4のうちのいずれか一項に記載の電気透析ユニット。
- 前記ヒーターが、前記元の温度が16℃未満である時、前記流入する水の温度を上げるよう動作するように構成されてなる、請求項1乃至5のうちのいずれか一項に記載の電気透析ユニット。
- 前記ヒーターが前記温度を16℃を超えるまで上げるよう動作するように構成されてなる、請求項1乃至6のうちのいずれか一項に記載の電気透析ユニット。
- 前記ヒーターが前記温度を20℃を超えるまで上げるよう動作するように構成されてなる、請求項1乃至7のうちのいずれか一項に記載の電気透析ユニット。
- 膜セルを用いた電気透析により水を処理する方法であって、
流入する水の温度を監視することと、
前記流入する水の温度が前もって決められたレベル未満である場合、前記流入する水が前記膜セルに到着する前に前記流入する水の温度を上げることと
を含む、方法。 - 前記方法が、海水、好ましくは船の如き入れ物に載積されたバラスト水を処理する方法である、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 前記水を廃熱を用いて加熱することを含む、請求項9または10に記載の方法。
- エンジンからの廃熱を用いることを含む、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記元の温度が10℃未満である時、前記流入する水の温度を上げることを含む、請求項9〜12のうちのいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記元の温度が16℃未満である時、前記流入する水の温度を上げることを含む、請求項9〜13のうちのいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記水が16℃を超えるまで加熱される、請求項9乃至14のうちのいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記水が20℃を超えるまで加熱される、請求項9乃至14のうちのいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 電気透析ユニットを製造する方法であって、
膜セルを設けることと、
流入する水の温度を監視するための温度監視デバイスを設けることと、
前記流入する水が前記膜セルに到達する前に前記流入する水の温度を上げるためのヒーターを設けることとを含んでおり、
前記ヒーターは、前記元の水の温度が前もって決められたレベル未満である時、前記流入する水の温度を上げるよう動作するように構成されている、方法。 - 添付の図面のうちの図2乃至図9を参照して先に実質的に記載されている電気透析ユニット。
- 先に実質的に記載されている電気透析ユニットを製造する方法。
