Abstract
Description

Claims (5)
- 物理ホストをまたがる仮想マシン上で計算負荷を分散させるための方法であって、
物理ホストに関係する物理レイアウト情報を記憶することと、
前記物理レイアウト情報に依存するポリシーに従って、前記物理ホスト上の前記仮想マシンをまたがって前記計算負荷を分散させることと、
を含む方法。 - 前記ポリシーが、キャビネット内で前記計算負荷を分散させるための指示を含み、それによって前記物理ホストが、前記キャビネットの最下位を始点に前記仮想マシンに装着され、下位の物理ホストが装着された後にのみ上位の物理ホストを装着される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- ポリシーに従って前記物理ホストにわたって前記仮想マシンを分配することが、第1のポリシーおよび第2のポリシーに従って前記仮想マシンを分配することを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記第1のポリシーが、キャビネットの最下位を始点にして、前記物理ホストを仮想マシンに装着されることと、下位の物理ホストが装着された後にのみ上位の物理ホストを装着されることとを含み、
前記第2のポリシーが、冷却部に近い仮想ホストを始点に、前記物理ホストを仮想マシンに装着されることと、前記冷却部に近い物理ホストが装着された後にのみ前記冷却部から遠い物理ホストを装着されることと、
を含む、
請求項3に記載の方法。 - 前記ポリシーがセキュリティに基づいたポリシーであり、前記計算負荷が前記物理ホストの前記物理セキュリティに従って分配され、それによってセキュリティに敏感な作業負荷が、識別されたキャビネットまたはデータセンタから構成される物理的に安全な環境に割り当てられる、
