In the manufacturing method of the organic thin film

FIG. 1 is a cross-sectional view illustrating an example of the configuration of an organic thin-film
The organic thin film
In the organic thin film
In this embodiment, the
In the case where the metal foils are arranged in a strip shape or a lattice shape as shown in FIG. 3 to form an electrode, in order to transport charges to the electrode with high efficiency, the underlayer is formed of an organic hole transport layer such as PEDOT: PSS described above or It is preferable to use an organic electron transport layer.
Further, when the metal foils are used in a strip shape or a lattice shape, the effect of reflection of the back electrode layer is reduced. Therefore, it is preferable to use a metal foil having a high reflectivity further behind the back electrode layer. Alternatively, at the stage of the solar cell module of, for example, by blending a reflective material such as TiO 2, highly reflective encapsulant or it is preferable to combine a high reflectivity backsheet.

Example 1
A glass substrate obtained by patterning ITO (150 nm, surface resistance of 15Ω / □ or less) on a glass substrate was used. The effective area sandwiched between the counter electrodes of the power generation element portion was 2 × 5 mm.
A TiOx film having a thickness of 20 nm was formed on the ITO on the glass substrate by the following method using a sol-gel method. First, titanium [IV] isopropoxide, acetylacetone, acetic acid and ethanol were mixed at a molar ratio of 1: 0.3: 0.2: 200 and left at room temperature for 12 hours. Then, it spin-coated on the conditions of 6000 rpm for 60 seconds on the glass substrate, and formed by heat-processing at 150 degreeC for 1 hour.
Poly 3-hexylthiophene (P3HT, manufactured by Merck, lisicon SP001 EF430602) and a fullerene derivative (PC61BM: phenyl -C 61 - butanoic acid - methyl ester, Luminescence Technology Co., PC61BM LT-S905) a 1: 1 mixing ratio And dissolved in a chlorobenzene solvent. Next, the obtained P3HT / PC61BM solution was spin-coated on the TiOx film formed on the ITO under the conditions of 600 rpm and 60 seconds to form a P3HT / PC61BM layer.
Next, a dispersion of poly (3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) (PEDOT) and poly (4-styrenesulfonic acid) (PSS) (manufactured by HC Starck Ltd., CLEVIOS PAI408) on the P3HT / PC61BM layer. Spin coating was performed under conditions of 1600 rpm and 60 seconds to form a PEDOT / PSS layer having a thickness.
Subsequently, this support-supported Au foil was obtained by placing a PET film on an Au foil (Au foil thickness 0.2 μm, manufactured by Foil Co., Ltd., model number: JK-013) and cutting the entire PET film to a width of 2 mm. Was placed on the PEDOT / PSS layer and set at a position where the edge could be electrically connected to the ITO counter electrode pad on the glass substrate. Subsequently, after pressing with the hard rubber roll from the upper part of the support base material, the support base material was peeled off. Here, the supporting substrate is a PET film, and the film thickness is 20 μm.
The obtained organic thin-film solar cell element was frame-sealed with a UV-cured epoxy resin with a grooved glass cap and subjected to heat treatment at 150 ° C. for 5 minutes to obtain an organic thin-film solar cell.

(Example 2)
In the same manner as in Example 1, a device before application of the back electrode was produced.
In Example 2, instead of the Au foil of Example 1, an 0.75 μm-thick Au foil (manufactured by Niraco, model number: AU-173058, with an acrylic support material) was used. The Au foil was cut into a required shape with a width of 2 mm with a cutter, with the acrylic support material still attached. Thereafter, the acrylic support material was immersed in acetone to completely remove it, and the one dried at room temperature was placed on a 20 μm-thick PET film support substrate.
This Au foil with a supporting substrate was placed on the PEDOT / PSS layer, and set at a position where an end portion could be electrically connected to the ITO counter electrode pad on the glass substrate. Subsequently, after pressing with the hard rubber roll from the upper part of the support base material, the support base material was peeled off.
The power generation characteristics were evaluated in the same manner as in Example 1. The power generation efficiency was 2.2%.

Example 3
In the same manner as in Example 1, a device before application of the back electrode was produced.
In Example 3, instead of the Au foil of Example 1, a 2.5 μm-thick Au foil (manufactured by Niraco, model number: AU-173102, with an acrylic support material) was used.
Subsequently, after pressing with a rubber roll from the upper part of the support substrate, the support substrate was peeled off.
The power generation characteristics were evaluated in the same manner as in Example 1. The power generation efficiency was 2.2%.
(Comparative Example 1)
An organic thin-film solar cell was obtained in the same manner as in Example 1 except that the thickness of the Au foil was 5 μm (manufactured by Niraco, model number: AU-173138).
However, since the 5 μm-thick Au foil is self-supporting and peeled off from the PET film as the supporting substrate, it was fixed with a mending tape from the top of the PET film when placed on the element. Next, after pressing with a rubber roll, it was further pressed with a stainless steel roll. Thereafter, the supporting substrate was peeled off.
The power generation characteristics were evaluated in the same manner as in Example 1. The power generation efficiency was 0.1% or less.
