平型導体用電気コネクタにおいて、本発明では、端子は端子配列方向で混在して配置された第一端子と第二端子の少なくとも二種を有し、長手方向で、第一端子は連結部に対して一端側に第一押圧部がそして他端側に第一受圧部が形成された第一押圧腕部と、第一支持腕部とを有し、第二端子は連結部に対して一端側に第二押圧部がそして他端側に第二受圧部が形成された第二押圧腕部と、第二支持腕部とを有し、可動部材は、端子配列方向で第一端子に対応する位置に第一受圧部と協働する第一カム部をそして第二端子に対応する位置に第二受圧部と協働する第二カム部とを有しており、第一カム部は、可動部材の回動軸線を中心とし上記第一押圧腕部の第一受圧部に当接して回動案内されるカム面で上記第一受圧部とで第一上当接点を形成し、第二カム部は、該第二カム部の回動軸線が上記第一カム部の回動軸線の延長線上に位置して形成されていると共に、可動部材の閉位置への回動過程で、第二押圧腕部の第二受圧部を圧する上カム面と、他端側で第二支持腕部もしくはハウジングの底壁を圧するようなカム半径の部分をもつ下カム面とを有し、上記回動軸線が延びる方向に見たときに、上記第一カム部が第一受圧部に当接する第一上当接点と回動軸線とを結ぶ中立線に対し、第二カム部は下カム面が第二支持腕部もしくはハウジングの底壁に当接する第二下当接点もしくは上カム面が第二押圧腕部の第二受圧部に当接する第二上当接点の少なくともいずれか一方が、可動部材の開位置から閉位置への回動過程で上記中立線を通過して移動するようなカム形状を有していることを特徴としている。
