Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a structure of a steering support member that is constructed along a vehicle width direction and that is a light alloy member that is attached to the side of a vehicle body at both left and right ends, and supports a steering shaft and the like.
Conventionally, a steering support member that supports a steering shaft or the like is installed on the vehicle interior side along the vehicle width direction, and the steering support member is attached to the side of the vehicle body at both left and right ends in the vehicle width direction. ing. In recent years, a light alloy rigid member having excellent specific strength and specific rigidity has been used as the steering support member. Therefore, a light alloy steering support member is required to be adapted to components in the vehicle interior in order to make use of its excellent characteristics.
Among such light alloy steering support members, a coupling bracket separate from the steering support member is provided, and the coupling bracket is disposed between the steering support member and the vehicle body panel in front of the vehicle. There is a structure in which the vehicle body panel and the steering support member are coupled by a coupling bracket (see, for example, Patent Document 1).
However, in the structure of the conventional steering support member described above, the strength and rigidity of the steering support member are too high, and an external load from the front of the vehicle is directly transmitted to the steering support member via the vehicle body panel and the coupling bracket. Therefore, when an external load from the front of the vehicle is received, a mechanism for absorbing the load or a structure for dispersing the load in another direction needs to be provided in the components in the vehicle interior. As a result, the structure of the conventional steering support member has a problem that the structure of the components in the vehicle interior is complicated and the weight is increased, resulting in an increased cost of the parts.
The present invention has been made in view of such a situation, and its purpose is to ensure a stable fixed state between the stay and the steering support member in a normal state, and to maintain the stay when receiving an external load from the front of the vehicle. A steering support member that can smoothly release the fixed state with the steering support member, absorb the external load from the front of the vehicle by moving the stay to the rear of the vehicle, and promote the occurrence of deflection in the release direction. To provide a structure.
In order to solve the above-described problems of the prior art, the present invention provides a light alloy steering support member that is installed along the vehicle width direction and that has both left and right ends attached to the side of the vehicle body, and a vehicle body panel positioned in front of the vehicle. In the structure of the steering support member in which a stay separate from the steering support member is provided, and the stay and the steering support member are connected in a straight line from the vehicle body panel in the vehicle front-rear direction. The steering support member is overlapped and fixed inside, and a fixed portion is provided with a protruding portion formed in a protruding shape corresponding to the stay and the steering support member, and the protruding portion is fastened. The steering support member along the protruding direction of the member The steering support member and the stay are fixed by penetrating through the stay and fastening, and a notch formed continuously from the fixed portion is formed on the stay toward the front of the vehicle. It is extended.
In the present invention, at least one of the stay and the steering support member is provided with a plurality of ribs extending in the protruding direction of the protruding portion, and these ribs are the steering support member or the stay of the mating member. It is comprised so that it may contact | abut.
Further, in the present invention, the fixing portion of the steering support member with the stay is formed to protrude toward the front of the vehicle, and the fixing portion of the steering support member and the stay are narrowed toward the front of the vehicle. It is formed into a shape.
In the present invention, the fixed portion of the steering support member and the overall shape of the stay are formed in a conical shape that tapers toward the front of the vehicle.
In the present invention, the fixing portion between the stay and the steering support member is provided on the vehicle front side of the steering shaft mounting portion of the steering support member.
As described above, the structure of the steering support member according to the present invention includes a light alloy steering support member that is installed along the vehicle width direction and that has left and right ends attached to the side of the vehicle body, and a vehicle body panel that is positioned in front of the vehicle. A stay separate from the steering support member is provided, and the stay and the steering support member are connected in a straight line in the vehicle front-rear direction from the vehicle body panel. The stay is the steering support member. The fixing portion is provided with a protruding portion in which a part of the stay and the steering support member are formed in a protruding shape corresponding to each other, and in this protruding portion, the fastening member is extended in the protruding direction. Along the steering support member and the stay By fastening Te, wherein together with the steering support member and said stay is fixed to the stay extends towards continuously formed notch vehicle front from the fixed point.
Therefore, according to the structure of the steering support member of the present invention, it is possible to ensure a stable fixed state between the stay and the steering support member in a normal state, and when receiving an external load from the front of the vehicle, the external load is Acts in the intersecting direction and can smoothly release the fixed state between the stay and the steering support member, and the stay and the notch function as a guide rail to determine the direction of stay movement, and the stay moves to the rear of the vehicle. By doing so, an external load from the front of the vehicle can be absorbed efficiently. Moreover, since the continuously formed notches extend in a direction different from the direction in which the stay and the steering support member are fixed, the notch promotes deformation in a direction other than the protruding direction of the stay fixed to the steering support member. It is possible to promote the occurrence of deflection in the unlocking direction.
Further, in the structure of the present invention, at least one of the stay and the steering support member is provided with a plurality of ribs extending in the protruding direction of the protruding portion, and these ribs are the steering support member of the counterpart member or Since it is configured to abut against the stay, the stay and the steering support member are abutted by a line via a rib, and the stay and the steering support member are fixed when subjected to an external load from the front of the vehicle. The state can be easily released. In addition, in a normal time, the fixed state between the stay and the steering support member can be stabilized.
Further, in the structure of the present invention, the fixing portion of the steering support member to the stay is formed to protrude toward the front of the vehicle, and the fixing portion of the steering support member and the stay are narrow toward the front of the vehicle. Therefore, when the stay and the steering support member are released from the fixed state due to an external load from the front of the vehicle and the stay moves to the rear of the vehicle, the stay will contact the steering support member. It is possible to reduce the possibility of contact and stretching, and to reliably absorb external loads from the front of the vehicle. In addition, according to the structure of the present invention, the area of the abutment portion between the stay and the vehicle body panel is reduced, so that vibration from the vehicle body panel is reduced and the magnitude of vibration propagation to the steering support member is reduced. Can be reduced.
Further, in the structure of the present invention, the fixing portion of the steering support member and the overall shape of the stay are formed in a conical shape that tapers toward the front of the vehicle, so the inside of the stay and the fixing portion of the steering support member It is possible to propagate the external load from the front of the vehicle to the peripheral portion with a good balance. As a result, there are no corners in the fixed part of the stay or steering support member, eliminating the possibility of external loads concentrating on the corner and destroying parts such as the stay or steering support member. it can.
In the structure of the present invention, the fixing portion between the stay and the steering support member is provided in front of the steering shaft mounting portion of the steering support member, so that the steering support member includes the steering shaft. Thus, the steering support member can be prevented from being deformed when an external load is applied from the front of the vehicle, and the fixation of the stay with the steering support member can be relatively facilitated.
Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in detail based on illustrated embodiments.
1 to 4 show the structure of a steering support member according to an embodiment of the present invention. Moreover, in FIG.1 and FIG.3, the arrow F direction has shown the vehicle front.
As shown in FIG. 1, a
As shown in FIG. 1, the left and right ends in the vehicle width direction of the
As shown in FIGS. 1 and 3, the
Then, the
For this reason, the protruding
In addition, in this embodiment, as shown in FIGS. 2 and 4, a plurality of ribs extending at least in the protruding direction of the protruding
On the other hand, as shown in FIG. 1 and FIG. 3, the
When the fixing
Moreover, as shown in FIG.1 and FIG.4, the
Further, in the structure of the present embodiment, as shown in FIG. 1, the fixing portion P between the
As described above, the structure of the
While the embodiments of the present invention have been described above, the present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiments, and various modifications and changes can be made based on the technical idea of the present invention.
