Description

The present invention relates to a liquid container including a liquid container that stores a liquid such as ink, and a storage medium that carries electronic data such as attributes of the liquid stored in the liquid container.

Ink used in a printing system for printing a large poster or the like is supplied in a state of being accommodated in a large-capacity ink container. The ink container includes an ink container body that stores ink, and a storage device that records ink attribute data such as color information, capacity, and date of manufacture. The storage device is readable and connected to the printing system when the use of ink is started by the printing system. The attribute data is read into the printing system and used for printing control and ink remaining amount management.

An ink container is described in Patent Document 1. The ink container of the same document includes a storage medium placement unit that holds the storage medium on the upper surface of the ink container main body. A plurality of ribs are formed in parallel on the storage medium mounting portion, and the storage medium is mounted on and fixed to the upper surface of the plurality of ribs. Japanese Patent No. 4630551

Here, when the ink container body has a special shape for holding the storage medium as in Patent Document 1, a general liquid container that is distributed in the market is used for the ink container body. There is a problem that you can not.

In view of the above-described problems, an object of the present invention is to provide a liquid container that can use a commercially available liquid container for a liquid container that holds a storage medium.

In order to solve the above-described problems, the liquid container of the present invention can store a liquid container that contains a liquid, a lid that is attached to and detached from a first opening formed in the liquid container, and electronic data. A holding member for holding a storage medium, and the holding member is positioned at a portion between the liquid container and the lid, and is locked to the liquid container and the lid. It is characterized by.

According to the present invention, the storage medium is not directly held by the liquid container, but the storage medium is held by the holding member, and the holding member is locked to the liquid container. Therefore, the storage medium can be supported by a commercially available liquid container without providing a special shape to the liquid container. Further, since the holding member is locked to the liquid container and the lid by positioning a part of the holding member between the liquid container and the lid, the liquid can be obtained by removing the lid from the liquid container. The holding member can be easily removed from the container and the lid. Therefore, it is easy to take out the storage medium.

In the present invention, it is preferable that the holding member includes a holding portion that wraps the storage medium, and the holding portion is formed with a second opening that allows the storage medium to be visually observed from the outside. In this way, the storage medium can be protected by the holding unit. In addition, since the holding portion includes the second opening, it is easy to confirm whether or not the storage medium is held by the holding member.

In this case, it is preferable that the second opening faces the lid. In this way, it is possible to easily confirm whether or not the storage medium is held by the holding member when the lid is attached or detached.

In the present invention, it is preferable that the holding portion is not positioned between the liquid container and the lid. In this way, it can be avoided that the storage medium held by the holding member is sandwiched between the liquid container and the lid and damaged.

In the present invention, the liquid container includes a stepped portion that is recessed downward at an edge portion of the upper surface, and a cylindrical portion having a central hole serving as the first opening is provided on the bottom surface of the stepped portion. Preferably, the lid is placed on the cylindrical portion to close the first opening, and the holding member is housed inside the stepped portion. Here, a liquid container having a shape in which a stepped portion is provided at the edge portion such as a corner of the upper surface and the tube portion is provided on the bottom surface of the stepped portion is commercially available. Procurement of the liquid container is easy. Further, if the holding member is housed inside the stepped portion, that is, if the holding member is not protruded outward from the stepped portion, it is possible to prevent or suppress the storage medium from being damaged when the liquid storage container is transported. . Further, if the holding member is stored inside the stepped portion, the holding member attached to one liquid storage container interferes with other liquid storage containers when a plurality of liquid storage containers are arranged and stacked. These operations are easy.

In the present invention, it is preferable that the holding member includes a regulating portion that abuts against a side surface of the stepped portion and regulates rotation of the holding member around the cylindrical portion. In this way, it is possible to prevent the holding member from rotating around the cylindrical portion and projecting to the side of the liquid container when the liquid storage container is transported. It is possible to prevent the medium from being damaged.

In the present invention, the liquid container includes a grip portion at a position different from the step portion on the upper surface, and the holding member includes a virtual line segment connecting the grip portion and the first opening, and the virtual line segment. It is desirable to hold the storage medium at a position deviating from the imaginary line obtained by extending. According to this configuration, when the liquid in the liquid container flows out through the first opening, the storage medium can be prevented or suppressed from getting wet by the liquid even if the holding member is not removed from the liquid container. .

In this case, the holding member includes a third opening into which the cylindrical portion can be inserted, and an opening edge of the third opening in the holding member is positioned between the liquid container and the lid. The liquid container and the lid are latched portions. A male screw is formed on the outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical portion, and the lid is screwed on the male screw. An engaging female screw is provided, and a thickness dimension of the locking portion in a screwing direction between the lid and the cylindrical portion may be larger than a pitch of the male screw. In this case, when the holding member is locked to the liquid container by inserting the cylindrical portion into the third opening, it is possible to prevent the locking portion from being caught by the male screw. It becomes easy to lock to.

With internal thread
The thickness dimension of the locking part in the screwing direction of the lid and the cylinder part may be smaller than the pitch of the male screw. According to this configuration, since the holding member is locked to the liquid container by inserting the cylindrical portion into the third opening, the locking portion and the male screw are easily caught. The fall from the body is suppressed.

In the present invention, the entire female screw of the lid body is screwed into the male screw of the cylinder portion, and the lid body is fastened to the cylinder portion, and the gap between the lid body and the bottom surface of the stepped portion. It is desirable that the height dimension of the gap to be formed corresponds to the thickness dimension of the locking portion in the screwing direction of the lid body and the cylindrical portion. If it does in this way, it can prevent that a big load is applied to the latching | locking part of the holding member located between a cover body and a liquid container when a cover body is fastened to a cylinder part. Therefore, the retaining portion is not damaged and the holding member does not fall off from the liquid container.

According to the present invention, it is possible to configure a liquid container that holds a storage medium using a commercially available liquid container and lid. Further, according to the present invention, it is easy to remove the storage medium from the liquid container.

4A and 4B are a perspective view and a developed view of the holding member 7, respectively. FIG. 4A shows a state in which the storage device package 6 is held by the holding member 7. As shown in FIG. 4A, the holding member 7 protrudes from the locking portion 41 to the outer peripheral side, and an annular locking portion 41 having a circular opening 41a into which the cylindrical portion 16 of the ink container 2 can be inserted. A rotation restricting portion (restricting portion) 43 protruding from the locking portion 41 to the outer peripheral side at a position opposite to the holding portion 42 and the holding portion 42 sandwiching the circular opening 41a is provided. The planar shape of the holding part 42 and the rotation restricting part 43 as viewed from above is tapered as the distance from the locking part 41 increases. The tip of the holding part 42 has an acute angle, and the tip of the rotation restricting part 43 has an obtuse angle. The holding unit 42 wraps and holds the storage device package 6. A window (second opening) 44 is formed in the holding portion 42. From the window 44, the storage device package 6 held by the holding unit 42 can be visually observed.

The holding member 7 is configured by folding flat plastic cardboard. As illustrated in FIG. 4B, the holding member 7 includes a first plate portion 45 including a placement portion 45 a for placing the storage device packaging body 6, and a second plate that overlaps the first plate portion 45 by being folded. The plate portion 46 and the third plate portion 47, the first connecting plate portion 48 serving as a folding margin between the first plate portion 45 and the second plate portion 46, and between the first plate portion 45 and the third plate portion 47. A second connecting plate portion 49 serving as a folding margin is provided. In a state where the holding member 7 is deployed, the first plate portion 45 is located at the center, the first connecting plate portion 48 and the second plate portion 46 are located on one side of the first plate portion 45, and the second plate is located on the other side. The connecting plate portion 49 and the third plate portion 47 are located.

The first plate portion 45 includes a locking plate portion 51 constituting the locking portion 41, a holding plate portion 52 constituting the holding portion 42, and a rotation restricting plate portion 53 constituting the rotation restricting portion 43. More specifically, the first plate portion 45 includes an annular locking plate portion 51, a tapered holding plate portion 52 protruding from the locking plate portion 51 to the outer peripheral side, and a holding plate portion from the locking plate portion 51. A taper-shaped rotation restricting plate portion 53 protruding in a direction different from 52 is provided. A first connecting plate portion 48 and a second connecting plate portion 49 are continuous on both sides of the holding plate portion 52, and a second plate portion 46 and a third plate portion 47 are continuous on the outside thereof.

The second plate portion 46 and the third plate portion 47 also have a locking plate portion 51 constituting the locking portion 41, a holding plate portion 52 constituting the holding portion 42, and a rotation restricting plate portion 53 constituting the rotation restricting portion 43, respectively. It has. Each of the second plate portion 46 and the third plate portion 47 has an outer peripheral contour that matches the outer peripheral contour of the first plate portion 45 when folded on the first plate portion 45. When the second plate portion 46 and the third plate portion 47 are folded on the first plate portion 45, the locking plate portions 51, the holding plate portions 52, and the rotation restricting plate portions 53 of 45, 46, 47 are respectively Overlapping each other.

Here, the locking plate portion 51 of the first plate portion 45 is provided with four protruding portions 51a protruding at a constant width on the inner peripheral side at equal angular intervals. In addition, the second plate portion 46 and the third plate portion 47 include a circular opening 44 a in each holding plate portion 52. The circular opening 44 a is arranged at a position where the second plate portion 46 and the third plate portion 47 are overlapped with each other when the second plate portion 46 and the third plate portion 47 are folded on the first plate portion 45, thereby constituting the window 44 of the holding portion 42.

(Locking of storage device to ink container and lid)
With reference to FIGS. 1, 2, and 5, a holding procedure for holding the storage device packaging body 6 by being locked to the ink container 2 and the lid body 3 will be described. FIG. 5 is an explanatory diagram of a holding procedure for holding the storage device package 6 on the holding member 7.

When the storage device 5 is held by the ink container 2 and the lid 3, first, the storage device 5 is mounted on the holder 33 and is stored in the storage bag 34 in this state to constitute the storage device package 6. Then, as shown in FIG. 5A, the storage device packaging body 6 is placed on the placement portion 45 a of the first plate portion 45 of the holding member 7 in the unfolded state. Next, as shown in FIG. 5B, the second plate portion 46 is folded over the first plate portion 45. Thereafter, the third plate portion 47 is folded over the first plate portion 45 and the second plate portion 46, and the storage device package 6 is wrapped in the holding portion 42 as shown in FIG. As a result, the storage device 5 is protected inside the holding portion 42, so that the storage device 5 can be prevented from being damaged.

After that, as shown in FIG. 2, the cylindrical portion 16 of the ink containing body 2 containing the ink in the circular opening 41 a of the holding member 7 with the window 44 of the holding portion 42 facing upward (the lid 3). insert.

Here, in this example, the pitch p <b> 1 of the male screw 17 of the cylindrical portion 16 is smaller than the thickness dimension t <b> 1 of the locking portion 41 in the screwing direction (vertical direction) of the lid 3 and the cylindrical portion 16. Therefore, when the cylindrical portion 16 of the ink container 2 is inserted into the circular opening 41a and the holding member 7 is locked to the ink container 2, the locking portion 41 is suppressed from being caught by the male screw 17, and the holding member is suppressed. An insertion operation for locking the ink 7 to the ink container 2 is facilitated.

Thereafter, the bottom surface (first plate portion 45) of the holding member 7 is brought into contact with the bottom surface 15 b of the step portion 15. Thereby, the holding member 7 will be in the state accommodated in the step part 15, as shown in FIG. More specifically, the holding member 7 is inside the virtual surface obtained by extending the side surface 12a of the body portion 12 of the ink container 2 upward, and the virtual surface obtained by horizontally extending the upper surface 2b of the ink container 2. It will be in the state located on the lower side. Here, when the holding member 7 is housed in the step portion 15, the holding portion 42 holding the storage device 5 has a virtual line L obtained by extending a virtual line segment connecting the grip portion 18 and the ink inlet / outlet 2 a. It arrange | positions in the position remove | deviated from (refer FIG. 2). Further, when the holding member 7 is housed in the step portion 15, the side surface 15 a of the step portion 15 and the side surface 7 a of the holding member 7 from the holding portion 42 to the rotation restricting portion 43 face each other with a narrow interval. Alternatively, the side surface 15a of the step portion 15 and a part of the side surface 7a of the holding member 7 come into contact with each other, and the rotation around the cylindrical portion 16 of the holding member 7 is restricted.

Finally, the lid 3 is placed from above the cylindrical portion 16, the lid 3 and the cylindrical portion 16 are screwed together, and the lid 3 is fastened to the ink container 2. As a result, the locking portion 41 of the holding member 7 is disposed between the lid 3 and the ink container 2, and the holding member 7 is locked to the ink container 2 and the lid 3. That is, the holding member 7 is held by the ink container 2 and the lid 3.

Here, in this example, the bottom surface of the lid 3 and the step portion 15 in a state where the entire female screw 24 of the lid 3 is screwed to the male screw 17 of the cylindrical portion 16 and the lid 3 is fastened to the cylindrical portion 16. The height dimension h1 of the gap formed between the cover part 15b corresponds to the thickness dimension t1 of the locking part 41 in the screwing direction (vertical direction) of the lid 3 and the cylindrical part 16. That is, the height dimension h1 of the gap formed between the lid 3 and the bottom surface 15b of the step portion 15 is substantially equal to the thickness dimension t1 of the locking portion 41. Therefore, it is possible to prevent a large load from being applied to the locking portion 41 of the holding member 7 positioned between the lid 3 and the ink container 2 when the lid 3 is fastened to the cylindrical portion 16. As a result, it is possible to prevent the locking portion 41 from being damaged, and thus it is possible to prevent the locking portion 41 from dropping from the ink container 2 due to breakage.

(Function and effect)
According to this example, the storage device 5 is not directly held by the ink container 2, but the storage device 5 is held by the holding member 7, and the holding member 7 is locked to the ink container 2. Accordingly, the storage device 5 can be supported by the commercially available ink container 2 without providing the ink container 2 with a special shape. Therefore, it is easy to procure the ink container 2, and the procurement cost can be suppressed.

In addition, the holding member 7 is locked to the ink container 2 and the lid 3 by positioning a part of the holding member 7 between the ink container 2 and the lid 3. If it is removed from the ink container 2, the holding member 7 can be easily removed from the ink container 2 and the lid 3. Accordingly, the storage device 5 of the ink container 2 can be easily taken out.

Further, since the holding portion 42 of the holding member 7 is provided with the window 44 facing the lid 3 side, whether or not the storage device 5 is held by the holding member 7 when the lid 3 is attached or detached. Can be easily confirmed. As a result, forgetting to hold the storage device 5 in the holding member 7 can be prevented. In addition, forgetting to remove the storage device 5 from the holding member 7 can be prevented.

Further, in this example, the holding member 7 holds the storage device 5 at a position removed from between the ink container 2 and the lid 3. Therefore, it is possible to avoid the storage device 5 held by the holding member 7 from being sandwiched between the ink container 2 and the lid 3 and being damaged. Further, since the holding member 7 holds the storage device 5 at a position deviated from the imaginary line L connecting the grip portion 18 and the ink inlet / outlet 2a, the ink in the ink container 2 flows out through the ink inlet / outlet 2a. Even when the holding member 7 is not removed from the ink container 2, it is possible to prevent or suppress the storage device 5 from getting wet by the ink.

Furthermore, in this example, the holding member 7 is housed inside the step portion 15, and the holding member 7 does not protrude outward from the step portion 15. Further, the holding member 7 is prevented from rotating around the cylindrical portion 16 and protruding outside the step portion 15. Accordingly, it is possible to prevent or suppress the storage device 5 from being damaged when the ink container 1 is transported. Further, when arranging and stacking a plurality of ink storage containers 1, the holding member 7 attached to one ink storage container 1 does not interfere with other ink storage containers 1. Work is easy.

(Modification)
In the above example, the thickness dimension t1 of the locking portion 41 of the holding member 7 is larger than the pitch p1 of the male screw 17 of the ink container 2, but the thickness dimension t1 of the locking portion 41 of the holding member 7 is equal to the male dimension. It may be shorter than the pitch p1 of the screws 17. In this case, since the locking portion 41 is easily caught by the male screw 17 after the holding member 7 is locked to the ink container 2, it is possible to suppress the falling of the holding member 7 from the ink container 2.

In the above example, the height dimension h1 of the gap formed between the lid 3 and the bottom surface 15b of the step portion 15 and the thickness dimension t1 of the locking portion 41 are substantially equal. The dimension h1 may be shorter than the thickness dimension t1 of the locking portion 41. In this case, the lid 3 and the ink container 2 can be held while pressing the locking portion 41 of the holding member 7.

In addition, although said example is an example of the liquid container which accommodates ink as a liquid, the liquid to accommodate is not restricted to ink. Further, in the above example, the storage device carries attribute data relating to the contained liquid, but information carried by the storage device is not limited to such information. Further, a memory card or the like may be employed as the storage device.
