Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to an information processing system and an information processing apparatus.
Various projection devices have a function of projecting still images and moving images without connecting an information processing apparatus (hereinafter also referred to as “PC”) and the projection device with a cable. There are technologies for transmitting content to a projection device via a network, and technologies for projecting still images and moving images stored in a USB memory by inserting a USB (Universal Serial Bus) memory into the projection device. Projection devices equipped with a technology for projecting still images and moving images stored in a USB memory have already been developed.
By the way, there are a great many types of moving image formats to be played back by a projection device. Therefore, there is a problem that it is very difficult for one projection apparatus to support all moving image formats. In order to solve this problem, when a projection device does not support the format of a moving image to be played back, a technique for converting the format into a compatible format and playing the moving image is already known.
However, projection devices such as the above-described conventional projectors have limited CPU (Central Processing Unit) and memory resources compared to PCs. For this reason, there is a problem that even if the format of the moving image to be projected is a format that is compatible with the projection device, it may not be able to be projected normally depending on the data structure of the moving image. Specifically, there have been phenomena such as audio and video being shifted, audio being interrupted, and video being distorted.
The technique disclosed in
Therefore, the present invention has been made in view of the above-described problems of the prior art, and when a content such as a moving image stored in a storage unit is reproduced using a projection device, the content is reproduced by the projection device. An object is to improve the reproduction situation by converting the content into a content that can be reproduced normally even if the reproduction situation of the content is not good.
In order to solve the above-described problem, an information processing system according to the present invention described in
According to the present invention, it is possible to obtain an information processing system capable of improving a reproduction situation even when the reproduction situation of content reproduced by a projection device is not good.
Next, embodiments for carrying out the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings. The present invention relates to a function for reproducing content in a content reproduction apparatus such as a projection device. That is, when the content reproduction apparatus detects that the content to be reproduced has a data structure that cannot be normally reproduced, the content reproduction device searches for a conversion device that can convert the content via the network. The conversion device converts the content to be played back into a data structure that can be normally played back by the content playback device, and plays back the content on the content playback device. Next, the operation of the information processing system according to the embodiment of the present invention will be described. FIG. 2 is a flowchart for explaining the operation of the information processing system according to the embodiment of the present invention.
In FIG. 2, first, in step (hereinafter referred to as “S”) 201, the
In S202, based on the program stored in the
If it is determined in S203 that there is a problem (S203: there is a problem), the process proceeds to S204. When it is determined that there is no problem (S203: no problem), the process proceeds to S210. In S204, the network I /

In S205, it is determined whether or not there is a PC as a moving image conversion device on the network. If it is determined in S205 that there is a motion conversion device (S205: present), the process proceeds to S206. When it is determined that there is no moving image conversion device (S205: None), the process proceeds to S210.

In S210, it is determined whether or not the moving image reproduced in S202 is the end portion. When it is determined that it is not the terminal part (S210: NO), the process proceeds to S202, and when it is determined that it is the terminal part (S210: YES), the process is terminated. In FIG. 2, the moving image content is described as an example of the reproduction target content, but the content to be reproduced is not limited to the moving image content.
The information processing system according to the embodiment of the present invention starts reproduction of moving image content as content to be reproduced, and as a result, checks the reproduction status. If there is a problem with the reproduced image quality, a content conversion apparatus having the same format information as the format information of the content data is searched. Further, in the content conversion apparatus, the content data is converted into a data structure different from that when it is reproduced by the projector, and the converted moving image content is reproduced.
Next, the reproduction processing of the moving image content of the projector that is the moving image reproduction processing device constituting the information processing system according to the embodiment of the present invention will be described. FIG. 3 is a state transition diagram for explaining the flow of processing of the video playback device that constitutes the information processing system according to the embodiment of the present invention.
In FIG. 3, the
The separated video signal is subjected to video signal decoding 33 by the
Next, a specific example of the reproduction status check for the reproduced moving image in S203 of FIG. 2 will be described. FIG. 4 is a diagram illustrating reproduction time information between a video signal and an audio signal in the information processing system according to the embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 5 is a diagram for explaining a case where the data arrangement between the video signal and the audio signal is largely biased in the information processing system according to the embodiment of the present invention.
In the moving image content, reproduction time information (PTS: Presentation Time Stamp) is added to each of the video signal and the audio signal. If the moving image content is reproduced and output according to the reproduction time information, there is no deviation between the video signal and the audio signal. Therefore, the first method for checking the reproduction status is that the PTS of the video signal at the time of projection 35 and the PTS of the audio signal at the time of audio signal output 36 shown in FIG. 3 deviate by exceeding a predetermined threshold. Determine whether or not. If the difference between the two exceeds the threshold, it is determined that there is a problem in the reproduction status (FIG. 2: S203: problem).
The second reproduction status check method is performed at the time of separation 32 of the audio signal and the video signal shown in FIG. That is, as shown in FIG. 4, when the difference time between the PTS of the adjacent video signal and the PTS of the audio signal exceeds a predetermined threshold, there is a problem in the reproduction status (FIG. 2: S203: It is determined that there is a problem.
The third check method of the reproduction status is a method used when the data arrangement of the video signal and the audio signal is largely biased as shown in FIG. For example, among video data for 1.5 seconds, video frames exist for x seconds with respect to audio data for 1.5 seconds from the beginning of the data. Then, in the remaining (1.5-x) seconds, the arrangement of data within a predetermined time such that there is no audio data and only a video frame exists, and the video signal and the audio signal are arranged. This is the case when it is largely biased. In other words, this is a case where the balance between the ratio of the video signal and the ratio of the audio signal is broken.
Note that the reproduction output check method can be considered in various patterns depending on the video format, so the first, second, and third check methods described above are merely examples.
Further, as an example of means for searching for a device capable of format conversion, a means similar to searching for a projector that can be projected by a conventional network utility can be considered. Since this is a known technique, a detailed description thereof is omitted here.
Furthermore, a specific example of the content reproduction apparatus includes a projector, and a specific example of the content conversion apparatus includes a server, an ITBox, and the like in addition to the PC described above.
A means for confirming whether or not the playback status has been improved after the content has been converted can be realized by checking the playback status again.
Each operation of the information processing system in the embodiment of the present invention shown in FIG. 2 can be realized by a program on a computer. The
As described above, according to the present invention, when it is detected that the content cannot be normally reproduced in the projection device, a content conversion device capable of converting the data structure of the content via the network is searched. To do. In the content conversion apparatus, the projection device converts the data into data that can be normally reproduced. As a result, an information processing system and an information processing apparatus that can improve the playback situation when the playback image quality of the content being played back on the projection device is not good can be obtained.
The present invention has been described above by the preferred embodiments of the present invention. While the invention has been described with reference to specific embodiments thereof, various modifications and changes can be made to these embodiments without departing from the broader spirit and scope of the invention as defined in the claims. is there.
