Abstract
【解決手段】液晶レンズ素子を、対向する上基板及び下基板と両基板間に挟まれた液晶層とからなり、前記両基板の面内方向をxy平面としたときに、前記液晶層はx方向に初期配向方向を有し、前記上基板はx方向に電位勾配を発生させるA電極構造がx方向に並んだ繰り返し領域を有し、前記下基板はy方向に電位勾配を発生させるB電極構造がy方向に並んだ繰り返し領域を有し、なおかつ、前記A電極構造中央部にy方向に延伸した開口部を有する構成にする。

Claims (7)
- 対向する上基板及び下基板と両基板間に挟まれた液晶層とからなり、前記両基板の面内方向をxy平面としたときに、前記液晶層はx方向に初期配向方向を有し、前記上基板はx方向に電位勾配を発生させるA電極構造がx方向に並んだ繰り返し領域を有し、前記下基板はy方向に電位勾配を発生させるB電極構造がy方向に並んだ繰り返し領域を有し、なおかつ、前記A電極構造中央部にy方向に延伸した開口部を有することを特徴とする液晶レンズ素子。
- 前記A電極構造が前記上基板上に第1導電層、絶縁層、第2導電層を有し、前記第1導電層が前記上基板全面を覆う形状の電極であり、前記第2導電層がy方向に延伸したストライプ形状であることを特徴とする請求項1記載の液晶レンズ素子。
- 前記A電極構造が前記上基板上に第1導電層、第1絶縁層、第2導電層、第2絶縁層、抵抗膜を有し、前記第1導電層が前記上基板全面を覆う電極であり、前記第2導電層がy方向に延伸したストライプ形状であり、前記抵抗膜のシート抵抗が前記第1導電層あるいは前記第2導電層と前記第2絶縁層との中間に位置することを特徴とする請求項1記載の液晶レンズ素子。
- 対向する上基板及び下基板と両基板間に挟まれた液晶層とからなり、前記両基板の面内方向をxy平面としたときに、前記液晶層はx方向に初期配向方向を有し、前記上基板はx方向に電位勾配を発生させるA電極構造がx方向に並んだ繰り返し領域を有し、前記下基板はy方向に電位勾配を発生させるB電極構造がy方向に並んだ繰り返し領域を有し、なおかつ、前記A電極構造中央部にy方向に延伸した中央部電極を有することを特徴とする液晶レンズ素子。
- 前記A電極構造が、少なくとも第1導電層、第2導電層からなり、前記第1導電層のシート抵抗が前記第2導電層のシート抵抗よりも低く、なおかつA電極構造がx方向に延伸した主方向部位とy方向に延伸した分岐部位とy方向に延伸した前記中央部電極とy方向に延伸した端部電極とからなり、なおかつ前記主方向部位は前記分岐部位と前記中央部電極と前記端部電極に接続し、なおかつ前記主方向部位が前記第2導電層で構成され、なおかつ前記分岐部位と前記中央部電極と前記端部電極とが少なくとも前記第1導電層を含む層で構成されていることを特徴とする請求項4記載の液晶レンズ素子。
- 少なくとも表示パネル、偏光板、前記液晶レンズ素子の順序からなる積層体を含み、前記液晶レンズ素子が請求項1から5記載のいずれかであることを特徴とする表示装置。
- 請求項6記載の前記表示装置を搭載した端末機。
