Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a fire extinguishing sprinkler head.
The sprinkler head, which has a nozzle inside, is connected to a water-filled fire extinguisher pipe. When a fire breaks out, it automatically detects the heat of the fire and sprays water to extinguish the fire. Is to do.
In the above-mentioned sprinkler head, the part that normally holds the valve body that closes the nozzle and is decomposed by the heat of the fire in the event of a fire to open the valve body of the sprinkler head is called a heat-sensitive decomposition part. A low-melting-point alloy with a low melting point is used for the heat-sensitive body that senses heat among the components of the thermal decomposition part, and the low-melting point alloy is placed in a bottomed cylindrical cylinder, and the cylinder has a low melting point. A plunger is disposed on the surface of the melting point alloy.
The thermal decomposition part supports the valve body at the position where the nozzle is closed, and further presses the plunger against the cylinder bottom, and the low melting point alloy incorporated in the thermal body melts due to the heat of the fire and the cylinder When the plunger melts into the cylinder and the plunger is immersed in the cylinder, the thermal decomposition part is disassembled and the support of the valve body is released to open the valve body. By opening the valve body, water filled in the fire extinguishing equipment pipe is discharged from the nozzle of the main body to the outside.
In the above-mentioned sprinkler head, there is a sprinkler head in which a heat collector that collects the heat of a fire and propagates the heat to a low melting point alloy in the cylinder is formed integrally with the cylinder (for example, see Patent Document 1). By integrally forming the cylinder and the heat collector, it is possible to propagate the heat collected by the heat collector to the low melting point alloy in the cylinder without loss.
The sprinkler head described in Patent Document 1 is formed in a cylindrical shape in which the plunger has a hole inside, and the inner diameter of the cylindrical portion near the low melting point alloy is larger than the inner diameter of the joint portion with the set screw. As a result, the heat absorbed by the plunger is difficult to propagate to the set screw on the top of the plunger, which promotes melting of the low melting point alloy. It is possible to shorten the time until the operation.
However, if the thickness of the plunger cylinder is made too thin, the plunger may be deformed when an external force is applied. If the plunger is deformed, when the low melting point alloy is melted in the event of a fire, the balancer may be caught by the plunger when the balancer moves along the plunger, thereby hindering the operation. As a result, the operation of the sprinkler head may be delayed or may not be operated in some cases.
Therefore, in view of the above problems, the present invention has an object to provide a sprinkler head that shortens the time from the occurrence of a fire to the operation of the sprinkler head and that does not impair the operation reliability even if an external force is applied to the sprinkler head. Yes.
In order to achieve the above object, the present invention provides the following sprinkler head.
A hollow body with a nozzle inside, a valve body that closes the outlet of the nozzle, and a valve body that holds the valve body and is decomposed by the heat of the fire in the event of a fire to open the valve body of the sprinkler head The thermal decomposition part is locked to the main body. The thermal decomposition part is drilled in the bottom of the cylinder with a bottomed cylinder that contains a ring-shaped low-melting-point alloy and the cylinder with the opening facing downward. A cylindrical part that can be inserted into the hole of the low melting point alloy and a plunger having a flange part formed at one end of the cylindrical part. The flange part is formed in the low melting point alloy accommodated in the cylinder. It is a sprinkler head that is in contact and has a thin portion formed on the outer peripheral portion of the cylindrical portion of the plunger protruding outward from the hole in the bottom surface of the cylinder.
By forming the thin part, the heat absorbed by the lower part of the plunger passes through the thin part and propagates to the upper part of the plunger, but the conduction resistance of the thin part increases and the heat insulation is improved to increase the plunger. The upper part of the structure is difficult to transfer heat. As a result, the heat stays at the lower portion of the plunger and can be propagated to the low melting point alloy in contact with the lower portion of the plunger to promote its melting.
On the other hand, by forming the thin portion on the plunger, the thin portion may be deformed when the sprinkler head receives an impact from an external force, but the deformation is absorbed by the space formed on the outside of the thin portion. Thus, the configuration does not hinder the operation of the sprinkler head. Specifically, the cylindrical portion of the plunger is a sliding portion with the hole portion of the component of the thermal decomposition portion, and a space is formed on the inner peripheral surface of the thin portion and the hole portion. When an external force is applied from below the sprinkler head, when the thin portion of the plunger buckles, it deforms to expand into the space. When the sprinkler head operates, the above components move downward along the plunger. At that time, if the deformation of the thin portion does not protrude from the outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical portion of the plunger, the thin portion is deformed. There is no hindrance to the sliding operation with the components of the thermal decomposition unit.
About the said invention, the flange part of a plunger is accommodated in a cylinder and can be comprised.
According to this, when an external force is applied from below the sprinkler head, the impact applied to the plunger can be reduced by deforming the opening of the cylinder upon receiving an impact.

In the present invention, a heat collector is connected to the cylinder, and the lower surface of the heat collector can be arranged below the opening end of the cylinder.
According to this, when an external force is applied from below the sprinkler head, the impact applied to the cylinder or the plunger can be mitigated by the heat collector being deformed by receiving an impact.

According to this, when an external force is applied from below or from the side of the sprinkler head, the impact applied to the cylinder or the plunger can be reduced by the heat collector receiving the impact and deforming.
About the said invention, a thin part can be formed in the location which adjoins the inner peripheral part inner side of the heat insulating material installed in the bottom face outside of a cylinder.

[Plunger 51]
The
The
In addition, by intentionally providing a weak portion by the

[Cylinder 52]

A
[Heat collector 55]
A
In order to connect the
Further, since there is a difference between the inner diameter on the opening side of the
The
Since the
When an external force is applied to the
The thickness of the
The
[Cap 57]
A
In this
The

When the

The

[Operation of sprinkler head SH]
Next, the operation of the sprinkler head SH of this embodiment will be described with reference to FIG.
As shown to Fig.2 (a), the sprinkler head SH is connected to the water supply piping which is not shown in figure, and the inside of the
When a fire occurs, the
Since the
Until the
In addition, the tip of the
Following the removal of the ball holding part 60, the
