Abstract
【解決手段】溶融金属の検出装置が提供される。検出装置は、溶融金属のサンプルを受容するべく構成されたキャビティーを有するサンプルカップと、キャビティー内に配置された小塊を含む。小塊は、カーバイド安定化成分と、アルカリ土類金属の水酸化物を含む水素放出材料を含む。小塊は、溶融鋳鉄のサンプルの凝固過程で相変化温度を検出する用途に提供される。小塊は、また輸送及び保管過程での吸湿及び脱湿に耐性がある。小塊を用いた溶融鉄又は溶融鋳鉄のサンプルの相変化温度の検出方法と小塊の製造方法も提供される。

Claims (20)
- 溶融金属のサンプルを受容するべく構成されたキャビティーを有するサンプルカップ、及び前記キャビティー内に配置された小塊を備える溶融金属用の検出装置であって、
前記小塊が、カーバイド安定化成分、及びアルカリ土類金属の水酸化物を含む水素放出材料を含む、検出装置。 - 前記小塊がバインダーを更に含む、請求項1に記載の検出装置。
- 前記バインダーが3%ポリビニルアルコール水溶液である、請求項2に記載の検出装置。
- 前記水素放出材料が水酸化マグネシウムである、請求項1に記載の検出装置。
- 溶融金属のサンプルの総重量に基づいて0.35重量%〜0.45重量%の前記小塊を備える、請求項1に記載の検出装置。

- 前記小塊が抑制剤を更に含み、該抑制剤が溶融金属との接触時の小塊の反応を妨げる、請求項1に記載の検出装置。
- 溶融鉄又は溶融鋳鉄のサンプルの相変化温度の検出に使用される小塊であって、カーバイド安定剤、水素放出材料としての水酸化マグネシウム、溶融鉄又は溶融鋳鉄のサンプルとの接触時の当該小塊の反応を妨げる抑制剤、及びバインダーを含む、小塊。
- 当該小塊の総重量に基づいて7重量%〜37重量%の前記カーバイド安定剤を含む、請求項8に記載の小塊。
- 前記カーバイド安定剤がテルルである、請求項8に記載の小塊。
- 当該小塊の総重量に基づいて15重量%〜54重量%の前記水酸化マグネシウムを含む、請求項8に記載の小塊。
- 前記バインダーが3%ポリビニルアルコール水溶液を含む、請求項8に記載の小塊。
- 当該小塊の総重量に基づいて1重量%〜4重量%の前記3%ポリビニルアルコール水溶液を含む、請求項12に記載の小塊。
- 当該小塊の輸送及び保管過程でその水和レベルの変化に耐性がある、請求項8に記載の小塊。
- 溶融鉄又は溶融鋳鉄のサンプルの相変化温度の検出に使用される小塊であって、当該小塊の総重量に基づいて15重量%〜60重量%の量のテルルと、当該小塊の総重量に基づいて40重量%〜85重量%の量の水酸化マグネシウムを含み、当該小塊が、輸送及び保管過程での吸湿及び脱湿に耐性がある、小塊。
- 前記テルルが溶融鉄サンプルの総重量に基づいて0.05重量%〜0.10重量%の量で存在し、前記水酸化マグネシウムが、前記溶融鉄サンプルの前記総重量に基づいて0.11重量%〜0.22重量%の量で存在する、請求項15に記載の小塊。
- 溶融鉄又は溶融鋳鉄のサンプルの相温度変化の検出方法であって、
温度センサー、及び溶融鉄又は溶融鋳鉄のサンプルを受容するべく構成されたキャビティーを有するサンプルカップを含む検出装置を準備するステップと、
カーバイド安定剤と水素放出材料としての水酸化マグネシウムを含む小塊を前記キャビティー内に配置するステップと、
溶融鉄又は溶融鋳鉄のサンプルを前記キャビティー内に入れ、前記小塊が前記溶融鉄又は溶融鋳鉄のサンプルとの接触時にこれと反応し、前記水酸化マグネシウムから前記溶融鉄又は溶融鋳鉄のサンプル内に水素が放出するステップと、
前記溶融鉄又は溶融鋳鉄のサンプルを凝固させ、これと同時に凝固するサンプルの相変化温度を測定するステップを含む、検出方法。 - 溶融金属のサンプルの相変化温度を検出するのに用いられる小塊の製造方法であって、
カーバイド安定剤と水素放出材料としての水酸化マグネシウムを含む流体小塊混合物を形成し、
溶融金属のサンプルを受容するべく構成されたキャビティーを備えるサンプルカップを含む検出装置を準備し、
前記キャビティー内に前記流体小塊混合物を入れ、そして
前記流体小塊混合物を乾燥して小塊を形成する、方法。 - 前記カーバイド安定剤は、前記流体小塊混合物の総重量に基づいて5重量%〜25重量%であり、前記小塊の総重量に基づいて7重量%〜37重量%である、請求項18に記載の方法。
- 前記水酸化マグネシウムは、前記流体小塊混合物の総重量に基づいて10重量%〜37重量%であり、前記小塊の総重量に基づいて15重量%〜54重量%である、請求項18に記載の方法。
