The base member 4 is made of a hard resin and is formed along the shape of the entire rear back side portion 3. The base member 4 is integrally formed with a substantially planar front portion 41a that forms the shape of the front surface of the rear backside portion 3, and side portions 41b that are curved from both sides of the front portion 41a and extend obliquely rearward. Yes. As shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, an inverted U-shaped opening 42 extending in the vertical direction is formed near the inner side of the vehicle at the center of the front portion 41 a. The opening 42 reaches the lower end of the base member 4, and the upper end of the opening 42 is provided at a position slightly above the position for supporting the occupant's shoulder.

The end side of the opening 42 of the base member 4 front part 41a is formed thicker than the other part of the base member 4, and the guide part along the inverted U-shaped end part shape of the opening 42 is formed in the thick part. 43 is formed.

An airbag case 6 that houses the airbag module 7 is attached to the upper end of the opening 42.
The airbag case 6 is made of the same material as that of the base member 4 and is formed of a housing having an opening at the front. A pair of side walls and an upper wall on the side of the seat of the airbag case 6 are integrally formed with a convex portion 62 that can slide in the engaging concave portion 43c. An attachment hole (not shown) for inserting a bolt 75 protruding from the airbag module 7 is formed on the rear wall of the airbag case 6.
Instead of the engaging recess 43c, a protrusion may be provided on the base member 4, and a recess may be provided on the airbag case 6 instead of the protrusion 62 so that the recess and the protrusion are engaged.

As shown in FIG. 2, the airbag module 7 is configured such that an airbag 71 and a retainer 72 are stored in a storage bag 73. The retainer 72 is formed in a substantially cylindrical shape, and an inflator (not shown) that generates gas for inflating the airbag 71 is fixed therein. The retainer 72 is inserted into the airbag 71.
Further, the airbag 71 into which the retainer 72 is inserted is stored in the storage bag 73 in a folded state. The retainer 72 is attached with a pair of bolts 75 for fixing the airbag module 7 to the airbag case 6. The bolt 75 projects to the outside in a state where the tip side portion penetrates both the airbag 71 and the storage bag 73.

When the airbag module 7 is not mounted on the rear backside portion 3, a lid 8 shown in FIG. 4 is attached instead of the airbag module 7 and the airbag case 6 in order to fill the opening 42.
The lid 8 is a substantially plate body made of the same material as that of the base member 4, and includes a flat plate-like main body 81, and convex portions 82 formed integrally with the main body 81 continuously from the left and right ends and the upper end of the main body 81. ing.
The convex portion 82 has the same shape as the convex portion 62 of the airbag case 6 and can slide in the engaging concave portion 43 c of the base member 4.

The airbag module 7 is attached to the rear back side portion 3 in the following procedure.
A seat back 2 is assembled by placing a buffer member 31 and a skin material 32 fixed on the front surface of the base member 4 on a frame (not shown) of the rear seat S. On the other hand, the airbag module 7 is fixed to the airbag case 6 with a bolt 75.
Next, the left and right convex portions 62 of the airbag case 6 are inserted into the pair of engaging concave portions 43 c provided at both ends of the opening 42 at the lower end of the opening 42 of the base member 4 from the rear side of the rear back side portion 3. To do. With the pair of convex portions 62 engaged with the engaging concave portions 43c, the airbag case 6 is slid upward, and when the upper end is reached, the convex portions 62 formed on the upper end of the airbag case 6 are It inserts in the engagement recessed part 43c formed in the upper end.
Thereafter, the airbag case 6 is fixed to the base member 4 with bolts (not shown) to complete the seat back 2.
When the seat back 2 is attached to a vehicle body (not shown), the airbag case 6 abuts on a wheel house (not shown) and is supported by the wheel house.

Similarly, when the lid 8 is attached instead of the airbag case 6, the left and right convex portions 82 of the lid 8 are similarly formed from the back side of the rear back side portion 3 at the lower end of the opening 42 of the base member 4. It inserts into a pair of engaging recessed part 43c provided in the both ends of the opening 42. FIG. With the pair of convex portions 82 engaged with the engaging concave portions 43c, the lid 8 is slid upward, and when the upper end is reached, the convex portion 82 formed at the upper end of the lid 8 is formed at the upper end of the opening 42. Is inserted into the engaged recess 43c.
Thereafter, the airbag case 6 is fixed to the base member 4 with bolts (not shown) to complete the seat back 2.

The fixing between the airbag case 6 and the base member 4 is not limited to the bolt tightening, but the protrusion 65 provided on the airbag case 6 is locked to a recess (not shown) provided on the base member 4. It may be done by. As shown in FIG. 5, a protrusion 65 protruding toward the left and right outer sides of the airbag case 6 may be provided at the upper end of the convex portion 62 of the airbag case 6. The side surfaces 65b on the left and right outer sides of the protrusion 65 are inclined so that the lower end is wider than the upper end and protrude from the convex portion 62, and the lower surface 65c is substantially horizontal. The width of the upper surface 65 a in the left-right direction is smaller than the width in the left-right direction of the convex portion 62, and the width in the left-right direction of the lower surface 65 c is larger than the width in the left-right direction of the convex portion 62.

On the other hand, a recess (not shown) is provided at the upper end of the engagement recess 43c of the base member 4 so as to be recessed toward the left and right outer sides, and the protrusion 65 can be engaged.
With this configuration, when the protrusion 65 is fitted to the lower end of the engagement recess 43c and the airbag case 6 is slid upward along the engagement recess 43c, the airbag case 6 is slightly bent inward. The protrusion 65 and the convex portion 62 move upward in the engaging concave portion 43c. When the main body of the airbag case 6 reaches the upper end of the opening 42, the projection 65 engages with a recess (not shown) provided at the upper end of the engagement recess 43c, and the lower surface 65c of the projection 65 is engaged with the engagement recess 43c. The airbag case 6 is positioned at the upper end of the opening by being supported by being in contact with the lower surface of a recess (not shown) at the upper end.

In the present embodiment, the guide portion 43 and the convex portion 62 have the shapes shown in FIG. 2, but are not limited thereto, and the convex portions are provided on the base member 4 side, and the left and right end portions of the airbag case 6 are provided. In addition, a front wall portion, a rear wall portion, and a groove between the front wall portion and the rear wall portion may be provided in the upper end portion.
Moreover, you may comprise the convex part which slides in a guide part and a guide part as a shape as shown to Fig.6 (a) (b) (c).
The guide portion 44 in FIG. 6A is provided along the opening 42 of the base member 4 and is formed between the front wall portion 44a, the rear wall portion 44b, the front wall portion 44a, and the rear wall portion 44b. A recess 44c is provided. The front wall 44a has a distal end protruding like a bowl toward the rear wall 44b, and the engaging recess 44c is narrow on the side of the opening 42, and a cross section L in which the back side opposite to the opening 42 is widened toward the front wall 44a. It consists of a letter shape. Further, the convex portions 64 provided at the left and right end portions of the airbag case 6 are narrow on the airbag module 7 side, and the distal end side opposite to the airbag module 7 is widened toward the front, and can be fitted into the engagement recess 44c. It has become a shape. Since it is configured in this way, the convex portion 64 is prevented from coming out of the engagement concave portion 44c toward the airbag module 7 side.
For the same purpose, the guide portion 45 in FIG. 6B is engaged with the front wall portion 45a and the front wall portion 45b with the tips protruding toward the rear wall portion 45b and the front wall portion 45a, respectively. The recess 45c is narrow on the side of the opening 42, and the back side opposite to the opening 42 has a T-shaped cross section widened toward the front wall part 45a and the rear wall part 45b, and the guide part 45 in FIG. The front end of the portion 46b protrudes in a bowl shape toward the rear wall portion 46b, and the engagement concave portion 46c is narrower on the opening 42 side, and the back side opposite to the opening 42 is wider toward the front wall portion 46a and the rear wall portion 46b side. It is formed as an L-shaped cross section.
Moreover, the shape of the convex part 62 provided in a pair on the left and right sides of the airbag case 6 may be different in shape on the left and right sides, and assembly of the airbag case 6 on the top, bottom, left and right may be suppressed.

Further, as shown in FIGS. 7 and 8, a groove 47d is provided on the surface of the front wall 47a on the side of the engagement recess 47c instead of the guide 43, and one end of the groove 47d is a fractured portion in front of the opening 42. The other ends of the webbings 33a and 33b connected to 32c may be engaged.
In the example of FIG. 7, the skin material 32 is formed of a left skin material 32 a and a right skin material 32 b so as to divide the rear back side portion 3 into right and left, and in front of the opening 42, the left skin material 32 a and the right skin material 32 a. The skin material 32b includes a breaking portion 32c sewn along the vertical direction. Further, the buffer member 31 includes a slit 31b extending in the vertical direction along the fracture portion 32c in front of the opening 42.
In addition, you may each form the convex part which protrudes on the opposite side of the skin material 32 in the both ends of the slit 31b so that it may position the buffer member 31.

At the breaking portion 32c, one end of the pair of webbings 33a and 33b is stitched together with the left skin material 32a and the right skin material 32b. Trim plates 34a and 34b are stitched to the other ends of the force cloths 33a and 33b, respectively.
As shown in FIG. 7, the groove portion 47d is bent so that the wall surface on the opening 42 side is located on the opening 42 side with respect to the entrance portion on the engaging recess 47c side. Even when a force pulling the other end of the bundlings 33a and 33b toward the opening 42 is applied during general use, the trim plates 34a and 34b are pressed against the bent portions and are difficult to come off.

The force cloths 33a and 33b are drawn into the opening 42 through the slit 31b from the fractured portion 32c. The recess 42e shown in FIG. 7 and FIG. 8 is formed in the left and right two places, a total of four places on the opening 42 side end portion of the front edge portion 47a, and the webbings 33a and 33b pass through the recess 47e. It is drawn into the engaging recess 47c. The trim plates 34a and 34b are inserted into the groove 47d in the engaging recess 47c and locked. After the force cloths 33a and 33b are locked to the groove part 47d, the airbag case 6 is attached to the opening 42, whereby the force cloths 33a and 33b are formed between the front wall part 47a and the convex part 62 of the airbag case 6. Sandwiched between.
Thus, since the other ends of the force cloths 33a and 33b are attached to the surface of the front wall portion 47a on the engagement recess 47c side, the rotational force applied to the other ends of the force cloths 33a and 33b when the airbag 71 is deployed. Can be reduced, and a reduction in the deployment speed of the airbag 71 can be suppressed.
At this time, the front end of the airbag case 6 may be arranged to protrude forward from the front end of the base member 4. Accordingly, the webbings 33a and 33b can be supported by the front end of the airbag case 6.

The force cloths 33a and 33b prevent the cushioning member 31 from being damaged by the inflation output of the airbag 71 when the airbag module 7 is deployed, and at the same time transmit the deployment force of the airbag 71 to the breaking portion 32c.
In the present embodiment, the example in which the airbag module of the present invention is attached to the base member 4 of the rear back side portion 3 of the rear seat S has been shown as an attachment member of the present invention, but the present invention is not limited to this. Alternatively, the front seat such as a passenger seat or a base member of a side portion disposed on the vehicle body side of an intermediate seat of a vehicle provided with three or more rows of seats may be attached.
