Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a communication terminal device including a touch panel and a setting method thereof. The present invention also relates to a program for operating a computer as such a communication terminal device, and a recording medium on which such a program is recorded.
In recent years, communication terminal devices such as smartphones equipped with a touch panel that can be operated by touching an operation screen have become widespread.
Such an operation on the communication terminal device is generally performed, for example, by touching the touch panel with the thumb of the same hand while holding the communication terminal device with one hand. However, when such an operation is performed, the base of the thumb touches the touch panel, and the touch panel incorrectly recognizes this as a touch operation by the user, so that the communication terminal device performs an operation (malfunction) unintended by the user. May end up.
In order to prevent such malfunctions, for example, techniques described in the following patent documents have been proposed.
In Patent Literature 2, the display area is divided into a first display area for displaying an image and a second display area for displaying a plurality of operation keys, and the movement of moving in the arrangement direction of the first display area and the two display areas. A technique for disabling operation of an operation key displayed between a child (bar) stop position is disclosed.
Patent Document 3 discloses a technique in which an invalid area is set in advance on a touch panel and objects displayed on a display screen are rearranged so as to avoid the invalid area.
Here, in the technique described in
Therefore, in the technique described in
In the technique described in Patent Document 2, the size of an area (invalid area) where the operation of the operation key is disabled is set by moving the mover by a user operation. For this reason, in the technique described in Patent Document 2, it is necessary for the user to set an appropriate invalid area each time, and it is not automatically set according to conditions. It takes time and effort.
In the technique described in
For this reason, the techniques described in
The present invention has been made in view of the above-described problems, and an object thereof is a communication terminal capable of reducing malfunctions by setting an appropriate invalid area according to the display position of an object such as a menu.
[Detection invalid area]
Next, the invalid detection area set by the invalid
First, the display positions of the objects included in the menu screen displayed on the
FIG. 3 shows an example of a menu screen displayed on the
As shown in FIG. 3, in an example of the menu screen, the right end of the object included in the menu screen displayed on the display panel 10 (the end on the x axis positive direction side of the object O) is the right end of the display panel 10 (display panel). 10 along the x-axis positive direction end).
At this time, in the menu information (menu information 1) relating to the menu screen shown in FIG. 3, the lower right corner of the
Further, as shown in FIG. 3, in the

(Detection invalid area setting)
Next, detection invalid area setting in the invalid

As shown in FIGS. 4A and 4B, when the user holds the
Next, the setting (calculation) of the detection invalid area will be described with reference to FIGS. FIG. 5 is a diagram illustrating an example of a menu screen when a rectangular detection invalid area is set. FIG. 6 is a diagram illustrating an example of a menu screen when a pentagon-shaped detection invalid area is set. In FIGS. 5 and 6, the detection invalid area is shown to be identifiable for convenience of explanation. Of course, the detection invalid area may not be identifiable on the menu screen.
As shown in FIG. 5, the rectangular detection invalid region T is located below the object O (y-axis positive direction side), more specifically, so as to include a region Q that is easily touched by mistake. Set to the lower right side of the display panel.
At this time, as shown in FIG. 5, the vertical width of the detection invalid area T is calculated as D / N, and the horizontal width is calculated as W / M.
N and M are parameters used when calculating the vertical width and the horizontal width of the detection invalid area, and may be appropriately determined to be 2 or 3, for example, according to the size of the detection invalid area to be set. However, it is not limited to these values. N and M may be set to predetermined values in advance.
Further, the size range of the detection invalid area T calculated by the above configuration is
(N × X0-W) / N <X <X0
And,
((N−1) × Y0 + Y1) / N <Y <Y0
It is prescribed by.
The calculation of the vertical width and the horizontal width of the detection invalid region T is not limited to this. For example, the vertical width may be calculated by (D + H) / N, and the horizontal width is (W + H) / M. It may be calculated. In this case, the calculated size range of the detection invalid area T is
(N × X0−W−H) / N <X <X0
And,
((N-1) * Y0 + Y1-H) / N <Y <Y0
It is prescribed by.
Further, as shown in FIG. 6, the pentagonal detection invalid area T ′ is set below the object O (y axis positive direction side) so as to include an area Q that is easily touched by mistake. .
At this time, as shown in FIG. 6, H is used as the left side vertical width which is one side of the detection invalid area T ′, D (D = Y0−Y1) is used as the right side vertical width which is the other side, W is used as the upper lateral width which is the other side. Further, the lower lateral width which is still another side of the detection invalid area T ′ is calculated by D / M. The calculation of the vertical width and the horizontal width of the detection invalid region T ′ is not limited to this. For example, the left vertical width may be calculated by H + a, and the lower horizontal width is (D + H) / M. It may be calculated by
In addition, although a should just be determined suitably in the range of 0 <= a <= DH, it is not limited to this, For example, you may set to the predetermined value beforehand.
As described above, when the detection invalid area to be set has a rectangular shape, the detection invalid area can be set to the minimum necessary size, so that setting a redundant detection invalid area can be avoided. it can. Thus, the rectangular detection invalid area can appropriately secure an area that can be arbitrarily operated by the user.
On the other hand, when the detection invalid area to be set is a pentagonal shape, the detection invalid area can be set in a wide range, so that it is possible to prevent a malfunction caused by a user's unintentional touching in a wider range. it can.
Further, as described above, in addition to the display position of the object O, the detection invalid area is set according to the size of the object O. Therefore, a more appropriate detection invalid area can be set, and malfunctions can be efficiently reduced. can do.
