Abstract
Description
Embodiments of the present invention relate to a flying object that flies toward a predetermined target.
A seeker (guidance device) that detects the target and points in the target direction is provided inside the flying body that flies toward the target. The flying object seeker is a radio wave seeker that irradiates a target with radio waves and obtains target information such as the distance and angle to the target based on the principle of the tracking radar based on the reflected waves. Is widely used.
However, the radio wave seeker in the prior art has a problem that the target cannot be detected when the reflected wave from the target is small. In particular, in order to cope with a stealth target that intentionally reduces radio wave reflection, a flying seeker is required to have higher sensitivity reception performance.
In view of the above-described problems of the prior art, an object of the present invention is to provide a flying object having a radio wave seeker in which radio wave reception sensitivity is greatly improved.
According to the flying object of one embodiment of the present invention, the antenna layer includes a plurality of antenna elements that transmit radio waves toward the target and receive the reflected waves. The reception filter is made of a superconducting material and passes a predetermined band with respect to a reception signal received by the antenna layer. The low noise amplifier amplifies the reception signal from the reception filter. The vacuum heat insulation tank stores the reception filter and the low noise amplifier in a vacuum heat insulation state. The signal synthesis unit synthesizes a multi-beam related to target detection based on the amplified signal amplified by the low noise amplifier. The cooling device supplies a low-temperature cooling substance made of gas or liquid to the vacuum heat insulating tank, and cools the reception filter and the low noise amplifier to a temperature at which a superconducting state occurs. The radome is formed of a radio wave transmitting material, and stores and protects at least the antenna layer, the reception filter, the vacuum heat insulating tank, and the signal synthesis unit in the front part of the flying body.
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings.
<
FIG. 1 is a cross-sectional view of the front portion of the
The
The
The
The
Hereinafter, a method for improving the radar performance will be described in detail. In general, radar performance is expressed by a radar equation. That is, in order to improve radar performance, (a) increase in transmission peak power, increase in pulse width, (b) increase in antenna gain, and (c) use of long wavelength with respect to parameters expressed in the radar equation. (D) Reduction of system noise temperature, (e) Reduction of system loss, etc. can be considered.
However, there are many restrictions on the increase in the transmission peak power and the increase in the size of the antenna, which causes an increase in the system scale. Therefore, there are certain limitations in implementation. In addition, it is difficult to use a long wavelength due to a recent shortage of radio wave resources.
In addition, a target that intentionally reduces radio wave reflection, such as stealth, appears, and there is a strong demand for improving radar performance. Therefore, in this embodiment, in order to obtain highly sensitive reception performance, the system loss and the system noise temperature are reduced.
First, reduction of system loss will be described. There are various items in the system loss, but a typical item is a transmission power loss from the transmitter to the antenna. In order to reduce transmission power supply loss, an active array antenna using a number of modules called transmission / reception modules in which a transmission amplification function, a transmission / reception switching function and a reception function are integrated is used, and an active phased array system is mainly used.
In the active phased array system, a transmission / reception switching function is incorporated between each antenna element and a phase shifter, and both a transmission amplifier for a transmission system and a low noise amplifier ((LNA)) 15 for a reception system ( Or it is an antenna system in which modules called transmission / reception modules are incorporated.
When a transmission amplifier is incorporated in a transmission / reception module, the module is placed close to the antenna element, so power loss due to the waveguide does not occur, and loss due to components that minimize transmission power loss (such as circulators) Can only be suppressed.
Further, when the low noise amplifier 15 for reception is incorporated in the transmission / reception module, loss during reception can be reduced and a multi-beam can be formed. That is, since the reception signal amplified by the low noise amplifier 15 can be distributed to a plurality of signals without degrading the S / N, a plurality of independent reception beams can be formed by the distributed reception signals.
An active phased array antenna has a plurality of reception beams, so that it can simultaneously cope with different targets and can realize various functions simultaneously and independently. Therefore, it can be seen that an active array in which at least the low noise amplifier 15 is provided for each antenna element is suitable for multi-functionalization requiring a multi-beam.
Next, the system noise temperature in the receiving antenna will be described. The system noise temperature is a numerical value that determines the noise level in the receiving system, and the multiplication output obtained by multiplying the product of the system noise temperature and the receiving system bandwidth by a constant (Boltzmann constant) is the noise power in the receiving system. . For this reason, if the system noise temperature is reduced, the S / N of the received signal can be directly improved, and the sensitivity of the receiving system can be increased.
In general, the system noise temperature is represented by the system noise temperature Ts at the antenna output end, and the noise (Ta) incident from the outside of the antenna output to the antenna output (reception) end and the low noise amplifier 15 from the antenna. Noise (Tr) due to loss in the power supply system up to, LNA internal noise (Te) added by the low noise amplifier 15, and noise added by the receiving system after the low noise amplifier 15.
The influence of the noise added in the receiving system after the low noise amplifier 15 can be ignored by taking design considerations such as sufficiently increasing the gain of the low noise amplifier 15. In this case, the calculation formula of the system noise temperature is as follows.
Ts=Ta+Tr+Lr*Te
Ts = Ta + Tr + Lr * Te
Moreover, under general conditions, Ta, Tr, and Te are respectively expressed by the following calculation formulas.
Ta=(0.876*Tsky+36)/La+Tta*(1−1/La)
Tr=Ttr*(Lr−1)
Te=To*(Fn−1)
Ta = (0.876 * Tsky + 36) / La + Tta * (1-1 / La)
Tr = Ttr * (Lr-1)
Te = To * (Fn-1)
Here, Tsky: Sky noise temperature, La: Antenna ohmic loss, Tta: Antenna temperature, Ttr: Feed system temperature, Lr: Feed system loss, To: Equipment (LNA part) temperature, Fn: LNA noise index. In a normal design, Tta = Ttr = To = 290K is used as the standard temperature of each part of the equipment.
From the above calculation formula, the system noise temperature can be reduced by reducing each loss and reducing the noise figure of the low noise amplifier 15 (sky noise, which is noise coming from the outside, is not subject to environmental noise). In the present embodiment, the system noise temperature is reduced by lowering the temperatures of the reception filter 14 and the low noise amplifier 15 stored in the vacuum
Then, the effect | action of the flying
First, before launching the flying
Next, when the flying
In the conventional radio wave seeker, the target cannot be detected based on such a small reflected wave. However, in the flying
That is, according to the present embodiment, it is possible to realize a significant increase in sensitivity of the antenna by mounting the reception filter 14 using the superconducting technology on the

FIG. 2 is a cross-sectional view of the front portion of the flying
As shown in FIG. 2, in the present embodiment, the
According to this embodiment, pressurized liquid nitrogen or the like has an advantage that it can be injected at a boiling temperature such as liquid nitrogen at the time of injection. Further, by incorporating the
<変形例>
<Modification>
Subsequently, modifications of the above-described embodiments will be described with reference to the drawings. In addition, since the code | symbol common to the code | symbol attached | subjected in FIG. 1 represents the same object, description is abbreviate | omitted and it demonstrates in detail below about a different location.
FIG. 3 is a cross-sectional view of the front portion of the flying
Before the launch, the flying
FIG. 4 is a cross-sectional view of the front portion of the flying
With such a structure, heat transfer by air is eliminated by removing air from the inside of the
Moreover, the cooling temperature by the cooling
FIG. 5 is a cross-sectional view of the front portion of the flying
When high pressure gas is supplied to the mini cooler 18B from the high
On the other hand, in the
FIG. 6 is a cross-sectional view of the front portion of the flying
Since the temperature of the pressurized liquid nitrogen or the like (cooling substance) injected by the cooling
