Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a paper discharge device.
In general, in an image forming apparatus configured with a post-processing device such as a printer or a copying machine, a plurality of sheets on which an image has been formed is temporarily stored inside the apparatus or discharged outside the apparatus. A paper mounting table such as a paper discharge tray is provided for loading stacked paper.
Conventionally, when the paper is discharged to these paper mounting tables, the stacking position is shifted until the paper falls on the paper mounting table by its own weight, away from the paper transport roller immediately before the paper mounting table. There has been a problem that sheets cannot be stacked with the edges of the sheets aligned on the mounting table.
This problem is likely to occur regardless of whether the mounting surface of the paper mounting table is horizontal or inclined, especially when the paper transport speed is high or when environmental conditions are severe, such as high temperature and high humidity or low temperature and low humidity. It is easy to get up.
On the other hand, a technique is disclosed in which sheets are stacked in a stacker, the ends of the stacked sheets are held between grippers, and the grippers are moved to be stacked on a discharge tray (for example, Patent Document 1). reference).
By the way, even when the gripper is used, the sheet may be bent and conveyed when being discharged, and there is a possibility that the accuracy of aligning the sheets on the sheet discharge tray may be reduced.
An object of the present invention is to suppress the sheet from being bent and discharged, and to improve the sheet alignment accuracy when stacked.

The

In the present embodiment, as shown in FIG. 2, two pairs of sheet nipping members (pressing

In addition, the
As described above, the

Next, the operation of the
Here, a case where the paper S is discharged by the paper
Before the four sheets S to be discharged reach the sheet nipping position, when the leading end of the sheet S is sandwiched between the pair of
Next, when the paper S is being conveyed by the paper
Here, FIG. 5 is an explanatory diagram schematically showing a state in which the sheet S is bent at the time of discharge. As shown in FIG. 5A, when the paper S is clamped by a pair of paper clamping members (only the pressing
The
When the
In addition, after the sheet S is nipped between the pressing
When the trailing edge of the paper S moves away from the nip portion of the paper
When the sheet S reaches the sheet stacking position, the
Then, the pressing
Thereafter, the pressing
At this time, since the friction coefficient of the
In addition, when the rear end of the uppermost sheet S stacked on the elevating
That is, as shown in FIG. 6B, the
At this time, since the
Thereafter, in the same manner, the paper S is discharged from the paper
As described above, according to the present embodiment, the two sets of paper
Thus, if the inclination of the paper S at the time of discharge is corrected, the paper S itself is prevented from being bent and discharged, and as a result, the alignment accuracy of the paper S at the time of stacking can be improved.
In addition, since two pairs of paper sandwiching members are provided inside the two paper
Note that the present invention is not limited to the above embodiment, and can be modified as appropriate.
The gripping force of the pair of paper clamping members is preferably a value that falls within a range of 0.4N ± 10%, and the transporting force of the paper
