Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a wireless power transmission system in which a magnetic resonance type magnetic resonance antenna is used.
In recent years, development of technology for transmitting electric power (electric energy) wirelessly without using a power cord or the like has become active. Among wireless transmission methods, there is a technique called magnetic resonance as a technology that has attracted particular attention. This magnetic resonance method was proposed by a research group of Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2007, and a technology related to this is disclosed in, for example, Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2009-501510.
A magnetic resonance wireless power transmission system efficiently transmits energy from a power transmission side antenna to a power reception side antenna by making the resonance frequency of the power transmission side antenna and the resonance frequency of the power reception side antenna the same. One of the major features is that the power transmission distance can be several tens of centimeters to several meters.
Application of the magnetic resonance wireless power transmission system as described above to charging a vehicle-mounted battery such as an electric vehicle (EV) or a hybrid electric vehicle (HEV) has been studied. This is because by using such a wireless system for the vehicle as described above, it is not necessary to handle a power connector, a power line, or the like for power feeding to the vehicle.
As described above, when the power transmission system is applied to a vehicle, a power transmission antenna or the like is embedded in the underground portion of the stop space, and the user of the vehicle stops the vehicle in the stop space and transmits from the power transmission antenna. Power usage is received by a power receiving antenna mounted on the vehicle. Since it is such a utilization form, the positional relationship between the power transmission antenna and the power reception antenna changes every time the vehicle is stopped in the stop space.
By the way, the inventors, by experiment, in the wireless power transmission system of the magnetic resonance type as described above, when there is a positional deviation between the power transmission antenna and the power receiving antenna, according to the positional deviation amount, It has been found that changing the parameter settings on the power receiving system side can efficiently charge the battery installed in the vehicle.
However, in the conventional technology, a method for calculating the positional deviation amount between the power transmitting antenna and the power receiving antenna with a simple configuration has not been disclosed, which is a problem.
In order to solve the above problem, an invention according to
Further, the invention according to
According to a third aspect of the present invention, in the power transmission system according to the first or second aspect, the power receiving side control unit calculates a positional deviation amount between the power transmitting antenna and the power receiving antenna. Is characterized in that the power transmission side control unit controls to have a period in which the voltage input to the inverter unit is constant.
According to a fourth aspect of the present invention, in the power transmission system according to any one of the first to third aspects, the power-receiving-side control unit is configured to determine the actual power based on the calculated amount of displacement. The current and voltage input from the rectifying unit to the step-up / step-down unit during transmission are adjusted.
The inventor of the present application has a relationship between the amount of positional deviation between the power transmission antenna and the power receiving antenna and the voltage output from the rectifier when the current input from the rectifier to the step-up / step-down unit is zero. I found something. Therefore, in the power transmission system according to the present invention, the current input from the rectifying unit to the step-up / step-down unit is set to 0, and the power transmission is performed based on the voltage detected by the voltage detecting unit that detects the voltage output from the rectifying unit. The amount of positional deviation between the antenna and the power receiving antenna is calculated. According to such a power transmission system according to the present invention, it is possible to calculate the amount of positional deviation between the power transmitting antenna and the power receiving antenna with a simple configuration, and the amount of positional deviation between the power transmitting antenna and the power receiving antenna. It is possible to perform efficient power transmission based on the above.

In step S103, it is determined whether or not W 1 ≧ P 1 .
