Description

The present invention relates to a tail lamp of a vehicle disposed at a rear end of a vehicle body, and more particularly to an improvement in a fog prevention structure of an outer lens.

As an anti-fogging structure for the outer lens in the tail lamp disposed at the rear end of the vehicle body, for example, as disclosed in Patent Document 1, it is surrounded by an inter-lens space formed by an inner lens and an outer lens, and a housing and an inner lens. There is something that communicates with the lamp space. This allows air to flow between the two spaces so that convection is likely to occur, thereby preventing the lens from fogging.

Further, as a general structure of a vehicle tail lamp, for example, as disclosed in Patent Document 2, there is one in which a lamp chamber is divided into a front chamber on the front side in the vehicle front-rear direction and a rear chamber on the rear side by an LED board and a reflector. .

特開2010−97731号公報JP 2010-97731 A 特開2008−71512号公報JP 2008-71512 A

By the way, in the tail lamp having a general structure in which the lamp chamber disclosed in Patent Document 2 is divided into a front chamber and a rear chamber, in order to prevent the outer lens from being fogged, the lamp as disclosed in Patent Document 1 is used. It is considered to be effective to exhaust the indoor air while convection. However, in recent tail lamps, the interior space of the lamp is becoming increasingly narrow due to low fuel consumption, weight reduction, design requirements, etc., and the air in the rear room tends to stay depending on the shape of the reflector, etc. There is a problem that the outer lens is likely to be fogged.

In addition, when a through-hole communicating with the front chamber and the rear chamber is formed in a reflector or a substrate at a position where the air flow can be easily obtained, there is a problem that the appearance deteriorates because the through-hole is easily visible from the outside.

The present invention has been made in view of the above-described conventional situation, and a through hole is formed at a position where air fluidity can be secured while avoiding deterioration in appearance, and between the front chamber and the rear chamber. An object of the present invention is to provide a tail lamp for a vehicle that can activate air flow and thus convection, and can prevent fogging of the outer lens.

The present invention divides a lamp chamber formed by a lamp housing and an outer lens into a rear chamber in the vehicle front-rear direction and a front chamber in the front-rear direction of the vehicle by a partition member, and an LED board on the front chamber side of the partition member. In a tail lamp of a vehicle in which an LED lamp is disposed in a portion of the LED board facing the front chamber side opening of the sorting member, the LED board and an upper end portion of the opening of the sorting member The gap is set to be larger than the gap with the lower end, and a through hole is formed in the LED board near the upper part of the opening of the sorting member to communicate the rear chamber and the front chamber. .

Here, the sorting member in the present invention includes, for example, a reflector that reflects light from the LED so as to be directed toward the rear of the vehicle, and a design member that is disposed in the lamp chamber for the purpose of a design effect. Moreover, the LED lamp in this invention contains both what functions as a taillight and what functions as a brake light.

According to the vehicle tail lamp according to the present invention, the gap between the LED board and the upper end of the opening of the sorting member is set to be larger than the gap between the lower end, and the LED board has a portion near the upper part of the opening. Since the through hole is formed, the air in the rear chamber flows into the front chamber through the through hole from the gap at the upper end of the opening for the following reason, and this air flow causes active convection in the lamp chamber. As a result, fogging of the outer lens can be prevented.

For example, during the daytime, warm air in the room after being warmed by solar radiation actively flows into the cold front room through the through hole from the upper gap, thereby generating convection in the lamp room and clouding of the outer lens. Can be prevented. In addition, the LED lamp functioning as a brake lamp and the surrounding substrate generate heat every time the brake is operated. From this point as well, the air in the rear room is warmed, the convection is generated, and the fogging of the outer lens is prevented. .

Further, at night, an LED lamp that is arranged on the rear chamber side and functions as a so-called tail lamp is always lit, and the LED lamp and the surrounding substrate generate heat, warming the air on the rear chamber side. Accordingly, as in the daytime, the air in the rear chamber flows into the front chamber through the gap and the through hole, and the convection is actively performed to prevent the outer lens from being fogged.

Further, since the through hole is formed in the vicinity of the upper portion of the opening of the sorting member of the LED substrate, the appearance does not deteriorate because it is difficult to see from the outside at a normal viewing angle.

Since the present invention can prevent the outer lens from being clouded by the above-described effects, it is not necessary to provide a separate fan or a large number of ventilation holes and through holes, which is beneficial in terms of cost, weight, productivity, and design. is there.

It is the perspective view seen from the diagonally right back of the vehicle provided with the tail lamp according to the first embodiment of the present invention. It is a disassembled perspective view of the said tail lamp. FIG. 3 is a cross-sectional side view of the tail lamp (a cross-sectional view taken along line III-III in FIG. 1). FIG. 4 is an enlarged view of a main part (arrow IV part in FIG. 3) of the tail lamp. FIG. 5 is a cross-sectional side view of the main part of the tail lamp (a cross-sectional view taken along line VV in FIG. 1). FIG. 5 is a cross-sectional plan view of the main part of the tail lamp (a cross-sectional view taken along the line VI-VI in FIG. 1).

Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings.

In the figure, reference numeral 1 denotes a rear part of a vehicle body. The rear part 1 has a back door opening 1 a formed by left and right side panels 2, 2, a roof panel 3, and a rear bumper 4. It is formed to open and close.

Tail lamps 6 and 6 according to the present embodiment are disposed on the left and right edges of the back door opening 1a. The tail lamp 6 is formed in an elongated shape over the entire height of the side panel 2, and is formed by a lamp housing 7, an outer lens 8 coupled to the lamp housing 7, the outer lens 8 and the lamp housing 7. And a reflector (dividing member) 9 and an LED substrate 10 disposed in the lamp chamber A.

The lamp housing 7 is made of resin and has a vertically long box shape that opens rearward in the vehicle front-rear direction. The upper portion of the lamp housing 7 is an LED placement chamber 7a, and the lower portion is a lamp deeper than the LED placement chamber 7a. It is a placement chamber 7b. In this lamp arrangement chamber 7b, a back lamp 11a and a turn signal lamp 11b are arranged. Reference numeral 7f denotes a flange for attaching the lamp housing 7 to the vehicle body.

The outer lens 8 is made of resin and has a vertically long box shape that opens forward in the vehicle front-rear direction. A peripheral edge of the peripheral wall 8 c is coupled to a peripheral edge 7 g of the lamp housing 7.

The reflector 9 divides the lamp chamber A into a rear chamber A1 on the rear side in the vehicle front-rear direction and a front chamber A2 on the front side. The reflector 9 has an LED reflecting portion 9a that bulges up and down in the vertical direction so as to extend from the upper portion of the base portion 9f to the middle portion, and has one back lamp reflecting at the lower portion. The part 9b and the single signal lamp reflecting part 9c are formed integrally and bulging forward so as to form a bowl shape. Each of the reflecting portions 9a to 9c is configured to direct light toward the rear of the vehicle.

The LED reflecting portion 9a is a bowl-shaped opening, which is formed in the rear opening 9d having a large diameter located on the outer lens 8 side and the bowl-shaped bottom wall, and is located on the lamp housing 7 side. And a front opening 9e having a small diameter.

The LED substrate 10 is disposed on the front chamber A2 side of the reflector 9 and close to the front opening 9e of the reflector 9. LED lamps 11 are respectively arranged on portions of the surface of the LED substrate 10 facing the rear chamber A1 facing the front openings 9e of the reflector 9. The LED lamp 11 functions as a brake light and a taillight. That is, it lights up by the brake operation day and night, and always lights up at night.

The locking piece 9g of the reflector 9 is in contact with the LED board 10, and the reflector 9 and the LED board 10 are screwed into the lamp housing 7 by screwing the fastening member 13 inserted from the lamp housing 7 side into the reflector 9. It is fixed to.

Here, a gap a between the LED substrate 10 and the upper end 9e ′ of the front opening 9e of the reflector 9 is cut off from the lower end 9e ″ by cutting a part of the upper end. It is set larger than the gap b.

In this embodiment, three sets of through holes 10a communicating with the rear chamber A1 and the front chamber A2 are formed in the vicinity of the upper portion of the upper end 9e ′ of the LED substrate 10 with a space in the vertical direction in this embodiment. Yes. The through-hole 10a is preferably set to a size such that the hole area is 0.15 square centimeters or more.

Furthermore, three sets of air vent holes 7c for communicating the front chamber A2 to the outside are formed in the lamp housing 7 in the vicinity of the through holes 10a. The air vent 7c is formed by a cylinder 7d protruding from the bottom wall of the lamp housing 7, and a cap 7e is attached to the cylinder 7d. A gap between the lower portion of the cap 7e and the lower portion of the cylindrical body 7d serves as an air discharge passage.

Although not shown, the same air vent holes are also provided in the lamp housing 7 in the vicinity of the back lamp 11a and the turn signal lamp 11b.

According to the vehicle tail lamp 6 of the present embodiment, the gap a between the LED board 10 and the upper end 9e ′ of the front opening 9e of the reflector 9 is set larger than the gap b between the lower end 9e ″. Since the through hole 10a is formed in the upper vicinity of the upper end 9e 'of the LED board 10, the air in the rear chamber A1 passes through the through hole 10a from the gap a of the upper end 9e'. It flows into the front chamber A2 and an active convection d is generated in the lamp chamber A. As a result, the outer lens 8 can be prevented from being fogged.

For example, during the daytime, the temperature of the rear chamber A1 is higher than that of the front chamber A2 due to solar radiation. Therefore, the warm air in the heated rear chamber A1 actively flows into the cold front chamber A2 from the upper gap a through the through hole 10a, so that convection d is generated in the lamp chamber A, and the outer lens 8 Can prevent fogging. Further, each time the brake operation is performed, the LED lamp 11 is lit, and the LED lamp 11 and the surrounding LED board 10 generate heat. From this point, the air in the rear chamber A1 is warmed, and also from this point Convection occurs and fogging of the outer lens 8 is prevented.

Further, at night, the LED lamp 11 located on the rear chamber A1 side is always lit along with the lighting of the headlight, and the LED lamp 11 and the portion around the LED lamp of the LED substrate 10 are always generating heat. Therefore, the air in the rear chamber A1 is warmed in the same way during the day and flows into the front chamber A2 through the gap a and the through hole 10a, and convection is actively performed, so that the outer lens 8 can be prevented from being fogged.

In the present embodiment, since the air vent hole 7c that communicates the front chamber A2 with the outside is formed in the lamp housing 7 in the vicinity of the through hole 10a, the air flowing into the front chamber A2 further flows into the air vent hole 7c. Flows out to the outside. From this point, the convection is further ensured, and fogging of the outer lens 8 can be more reliably prevented.

Further, since the through hole 10a is formed near the upper end portion 9e 'of the front opening 9e of the LED board 10, it is difficult to see from the outside at a normal viewing angle e (see FIG. 4). The appearance does not deteriorate.

Moreover, since the fogging of the outer lens 8 can be prevented as described above, it is not necessary to provide a separate fan or to form a number of ventilation holes and through holes, which is beneficial in terms of cost, weight, productivity, and design. is there.

In the above-described embodiment, the case where the sorting member is a reflector has been described. However, in the present invention, the lamp chamber A is placed behind the plate-shaped design member disposed in the lamp chamber A for the purpose of a design effect. You may divide into room A1 and front room A2.

In the above-described embodiment, the case where three sets of the through holes 10a and the air vent holes 7c are provided has been described. However, in the present invention, the number of these formed sets is not limited. For example, one set, two sets, or four sets You may provide above.
