Description

The present invention relates to a banknote separator for a banknote processing machine for processing banknotes.

In the banknote separator of the banknote processor used for ATM etc. for many unspecified persons to insert a banknote, it is necessary to be able to pay | pay out and convey a banknote stably. Generally, the banknote separator of a banknote handling machine includes a banknote insertion unit into which banknotes are inserted, and a separation transport unit that separates and transports a bundle of banknotes inserted into the banknote insertion unit. The banknote separating device is fed out from the separating mechanism section as it is even when the banknotes inserted into the banknote inserting section are disturbed. As a result, after the banknote is fed out, the banknote handling device detects the abnormal conveyance such as heavy running or skew, and then returns the taken banknote to the banknote insertion unit again. There was the trouble of setting the banknote again.

In Patent Document 1, in a banknote depositing / dispensing machine that rotates and feeds a pool part that accumulates banknotes, a friction member is provided on a guide wall that guides the rotation of the pool part, and the pool part is rotated along the guide wall. In this case, a structure is disclosed that prevents the feeding failure caused by sticking between banknotes by separating the end face of the banknote by friction with a friction member.

特開2009−217512号公報JP 2009-217512 A 特開昭61−023073号公報JP 61-023073 A

Generally, the banknote separator of a banknote processing machine is as showing in FIG.3 and FIG.4. FIG. 3 is a side view showing the structure of the banknote separator, and FIG. 4 is a plan view showing the structure of the banknote separator. The banknote separating apparatus 200 presses the movement guide 2 against the banknote 1 and rotates the feeding roller 5 disposed below the guide 4 counterclockwise in FIG. 3 (in the direction of the arrow in FIG. 3). Thus, if the banknote 1 is normal, the banknote 1 is sequentially separated from the lowermost banknote, and is fed out from the separation roller 7 and the gate roller 8 into the transport path along the transport guide 9.

However, as shown in FIG. 3, when the bundle of inserted banknotes is set in a state where the upper banknotes are popped out from the lower banknotes, double feeding as shown in FIG. 3 occurs. That is, the banknote on the upper side of the lowermost banknote is fed out first, and the lowermost banknote is also fed out so as to be dragged by this, resulting in double feeding.

Moreover, as shown in FIG. 4, when the banknote 1 is set in a state tilted left and right, one side of the banknote 1 as shown in FIG. 4 is quickly clamped to the separation roller 7, and the inclination of the banknote 1 is increased. When taken into the conveyance path, it is conveyed in a skewed state.

Patent Document 1 discloses a structure that prevents a feeding failure due to sticking between bills by using a friction member to separate the end faces of the bills by friction. However, even if a bundle of banknotes in the banknote pool is disturbed immediately before the banknotes are fed out, there is no mechanism for aligning them. For this reason, the abnormal transport such as heavy running and skew shown in FIGS. 3 and 4 is likely to occur.

Further, Patent Document 2 is not a banknote separator of a banknote processing machine, but in the paper sheet stacking mechanism, when sequentially stacking paper sheets sequentially transported from the transport path into the stacking chamber, A method of orderly collecting paper sheets in an aligned state is disclosed. That is, a collecting lever is provided in the stacking chamber, and the end surfaces of the paper sheets are hit and aligned. At this time, the assembling lever has a structure in which a flat plate for hitting paper sheets is incorporated into a spring mechanism via an arm, and the end faces of the paper sheets are hit and aligned by a reciprocating motion using a spring. That is, a special mechanism for reciprocating the lever is required. Furthermore, the method of Patent Document 2 is unstable due to the fatigue of the spring and the fatigue and deformation caused by the reciprocating motion of only one lever.

Since Patent Document 2 is a mechanism for orderly stacking paper sheets in an aligned state, the stacked paper sheets are not subsequently transported. Therefore, when hitting and aligning the end faces of paper sheets, even if they are prone to malfunction and are unstable, it is not a problem. However, when a process such as conveyance is involved after the accumulation, an unstable mechanism that easily causes malfunction is a big problem.

The present invention has been made in view of the circumstances as described above. The purpose of the present invention is to separate banknotes of a banknote processing machine used for ATMs and the like for an unspecified number of people to insert banknotes. In the apparatus, it is to realize a banknote separating apparatus that is unlikely to cause abnormalities such as heavy running and skewing in the conveyance of banknotes and that can stably perform the banknote conveyance operation over a long period of time.

A banknote insertion unit that inserts banknotes from a banknote insertion port, a banknote alignment unit that aligns the banknotes that are input from the banknote insertion port to the banknote insertion unit, and a separation transport unit that feeds the banknotes aligned by the alignment unit; The banknote aligning section includes an alignment roller having a rotating body and an alignment plate arranged in an impeller shape on a peripheral surface of the rotating body, and the alignment plate is moved by rotating the alignment roller. The banknotes are aligned by pressing against an edge.

According to the present invention, in the banknote separator of a banknote processor used for ATMs and the like for an unspecified number of people to insert banknotes, the end face of the banknotes taken into the banknote insertion part is immediately before the banknotes are fed out. Therefore, it is possible to realize a banknote separating apparatus that is unlikely to cause abnormalities such as heavy running and skewing in banknote transport and that can stably transport banknotes over a long period of time.

Hereinafter, the best mode of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings. However, the preferred embodiments described below are technically preferable to implement the present invention, but the scope of the invention is not limited to the following.

FIG. 1 is a side view showing a structure of a banknote separating apparatus 100 according to an embodiment of the present invention as viewed from the short side of a banknote 1. A banknote separating apparatus 100 shown in FIG. 1 includes a banknote slot 11 provided on the upper side and a banknote slot 12 disposed below the shutter 11. The bill insertion unit 12 includes a front guide 4 and a rear guide 2 arranged on the bottom guide 3 at right angles to the bottom guide 3 and parallel to each other. The bottom guide 3 and the front guide 4 are fixed to each other, and the rear guide 2 is movable to the front guide 4 side.

The banknote separating apparatus 100 shown in FIG. 1 also has a separating and conveying section 13 for feeding out the banknotes inserted into the banknote inserting section 12 into the conveying path. The separation conveyance unit 13 includes a feeding roller 5, a separation roller 7, a gate roller 8, and a conveyance guide 9. Furthermore, the banknote separating apparatus 100 includes an alignment roller 6 as a banknote aligning unit for aligning banknotes. The configuration of the alignment roller 6 will be described later.

In FIG. 1, numbers in parentheses indicate positions, for example, 3 (3-a) indicates the bottom guide 3 at position 3-a, and 3 (3-b) indicates position 3-b. The bottom guide 3 at is shown.

At the time of bill insertion, the front guide 4, the rear guide 2 and the bottom guide 3 constituting the bill insertion portion 12 are arranged at positions 2-a, 3-a and 4-a, respectively, and the front guide 4 (4-a ), Rear guide 2 (2-a), and bottom guide 3 (3-a). At the time of bill insertion, the shutter 11 opens and becomes a bill insertion slot so that bills can be inserted. When the bill 1 (1-a) is inserted into the bill insertion portion 12, the shutter 11 is closed, the rear guide 2 moves to the front guide 4 side, and the bill 1 (1-a) is moved to the rear guide 2 and the front guide. 4 in between. In this state, the rear guide 2, the front guide 4, the bottom guide 3, and the banknote 1 constituting the banknote insertion unit 12 slide while rotating by 90 degrees, and positions 1-b, 2-b, 3-b, 4 and 4 respectively. -B, the front guide 4 (4-b), the rear guide 2 (2-b), and the bottom guide 3 (3-b). Here, the horizontal position of the bottom guide 3 (3-a) before movement and the horizontal position of the front guide 4 (4-b) after movement are at the same height. In this state, the surface of the inserted bill is substantially horizontal.

FIG. 2 is a plan view of the banknote separator 100 of FIG. 1 when the banknote insertion unit 12 is rotated 90 degrees. As shown in FIG. 2, two feeding rollers 5, a separating roller 7, a gate roller 8, and an aligning roller 6 serving as a banknote aligning unit constituting the separating and conveying unit are provided in the axial direction of each roller shaft (not shown). It has been. The alignment roller 6 is provided in the long side direction of the banknote 1 (1-b), that is, at the front end position in the banknote conveyance direction, at a position close to each short side of the banknote. In FIG. 2, the alignment roller 6 (6-b) is in a state of being arranged at the operating position after movement.

In FIG. 2, the rear guide 2 (2-b) is raised until the sensor 10 detects the release of pressing of the bill in order to release the sandwiching of the bill 1. After the paper money 1 is released, the alignment roller 6 moves from the standby position (position of the broken line in the figure) to the operation position (position of the solid line in the figure) at the position 6-b, and moves in the direction of the arrow ( By rotating in the clockwise direction, the edge of the banknote that is popping out is pressed against the bottom guide 3 (3-b) side by the alignment plate 6-1 of the alignment roller 6, and the leading edge of the banknote is aligned.

When the alignment operation of the banknotes 1 is completed, the alignment roller 6 is moved from the position 6-a to the position 6-b. Although the moving mechanism is not shown, the shaft of the aligning roller 6 may be slid and the aligning roller 6 may be any one that transmits the rotational force of a motor or the like at the position 6-a. Further, the alignment roller 6 is a mechanism that rotates by a rotational force of a motor or the like, and is the same mechanism as the feeding roller 5, the separation roller 7, and the gate roller 8, so that no special mechanism is required and it is incorporated in the banknote separating apparatus. Cheap.

Further, the standby position 6-b of the alignment roller 6 is not limited to the lower side of the front guide 4 (4-b) as shown in FIG. For example, the alignment roller 6 (6-b) may stand by at a position above the rear guide 2 (2-b).

On the alignment roller 6, a plurality of alignment plates 6-1 for hitting the end portions of banknotes are arranged in an impeller shape on the peripheral surface of the rotating body 6-2. This alignment plate 6-1 is characterized by having flexibility. As this material, rubber is suitable. Further, since a plurality of alignment plates 6-1 are provided, for example, even if one alignment plate is damaged, the function as the alignment roller 6 is not impaired, and a stable operation is possible for a long period. .

By pressing the rear guide 2 against the banknote 1 again in a state where the banknotes 1 are aligned, and rotating the feeding roller 5 disposed under the front guide 4 (4-b) counterclockwise in the figure, the banknote 1 is The paper is spread cleanly from the bottom banknote and is fed out along the conveyance guide 9 from the separation roller 7 and the gate roller 8 into the conveyance path.

According to the embodiment of the present invention, in the banknote separator of a banknote processing machine used for ATM or the like for an unspecified number of people to insert banknotes, the alignment roller is placed immediately before the banknotes are fed out. By aligning with the rotation of the banknotes, it is possible to realize a banknote separating apparatus that is unlikely to cause abnormalities such as heavy running and skewing in banknote transport and that can stably perform banknote transport operations over a long period of time.
