Description

The present invention relates to a packing material for storing a packaged item therein, and particularly to a packing material for storing a packaged item stored in a protective cover.

In general, an industrial product such as an image forming apparatus is stored in a packing material after manufacturing in order to prevent damage in a distribution process. Conventional packing materials include a cardboard outer box formed with an openable flap at the top, and a cushioning material made of pulp mold or polystyrene foam placed at the corner of an image forming apparatus housed in the outer box. The thing equipped with these is known. In this type of packing material, the outer peripheral surface of the image forming apparatus housed in the outer box and the inner surface of the outer box are used as spaces for inserting an operator's hand when taking out the image forming apparatus from the outer box. It is necessary to secure a gap of at least about 50 to 70 mm (see, for example, Patent Document 1).

However, in the above-described conventional packing material, when the image forming apparatus as a package is taken out from the outer box, the operator removes the cushioning material disposed above and then bends the body greatly, Since it is necessary to insert both hands into a gap between the outer box and the outer box to grip and lift the bottom surface of the image forming apparatus, there is a problem that it takes a lot of work to take out the package from the outer box.

In addition, since a gap enough to insert an operator's hand is required between the image forming apparatus and the outer box, there is a problem that the outer box becomes larger and it is difficult to reduce the distribution cost.

The present invention has been made to solve the above-described problems, and an object of the present invention is to provide a packaging material capable of reducing the work for taking out the package and reducing the distribution cost.

In order to achieve the above-described object, the packing material according to the present invention includes a protective cover that is formed so as to be able to accommodate a package therein, and has an opening for taking in and out the package at one end, and the protective cover. A cushioning material interposed between the outer box and the package housed in the protective cover, the outer box having a flap that is openable and closable on one end surface, and capable of storing the stored package And a handle is provided on one end of the protective cover.

Moreover, in the packaging material which concerns on this invention, it is preferable that the cover part for covering the end surface of the package accommodated in this protective cover is formed between the right and left handles of the said protective cover.

Furthermore, in the packaging material according to the present invention, it is preferable that the protective cover is a bag made of a synthetic resin sheet and has a gusset shape on both right and left sides.

Furthermore, in the packaging material according to the present invention, the package may be an image forming apparatus.

According to the packaging material according to the present invention, various excellent effects can be obtained, such as a reduction in the work of taking out the package and a reduction in physical distribution cost.

Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. In the following description, the case where the package is an image forming apparatus having a substantially rectangular parallelepiped shape such as a printer, a copying machine, and a facsimile machine will be described as an example.

FIG. 1 is a cross-sectional view showing a packaging material 1 according to an embodiment of the present invention. The packaging material 1 includes a bag-like protective cover 3 formed to accommodate an image forming apparatus 2 therein, and a protective cover. A rectangular parallelepiped outer box 4 formed so that the image forming apparatus 2 accommodated in 3 can be accommodated, and a cushioning material 5 interposed between the outer box 4 and the image forming apparatus 2 accommodated in the protective cover; , And is configured.

As well shown in FIG. 2, the protective cover 3 has a bag shape made of a synthetic resin sheet, and is provided with an opening 6 through which the image forming apparatus 2 is taken in and out.

The material of the protective cover 3 is preferably a film such as PP or PE because of ease of processing, material cost, product protection, and the like. The protective cover 3 of the present embodiment uses a 120 μm PE film, but it is also possible to select a film having an appropriate thickness according to the weight of the package while taking into account the ease of packaging. Generally, the weight of a package that can be lifted by one person is assumed to be 20 kg or less. However, in the present invention, it is easy for a plurality of persons to have a package having a weight higher than that.

In addition, handles 7 are provided on the left and right of the upper portion of the protective cover 3, and an upper surface cover portion 8 for covering the upper surface of the image forming apparatus 2 accommodated in the protective cover 3 between the left and right handles 7. Is formed.

The protective cover 3 having such a configuration is manufactured by the following method. That is, as shown in FIG. 3A, first, the left and right side surfaces of the tube-shaped synthetic resin sheet are folded inward with a predetermined width to form a folded portion 3a, and are folded into a band shape (gazet shape). Is cut to a predetermined length. Then, the upper and lower ends of the synthetic resin sheet folded as shown in FIG. 3A are linearly heat-sealed to form the upper heat seal portion 9 and the lower heat seal portion 10 (see FIG. 3B). (See hatching).

Next, in the state in which the plurality of synthetic resin sheets on which the upper heat seal portion 9 and the lower heat seal portion 10 are formed are polymerized, the cut vertical lines 11 extending in the vertical direction from the left and right two positions on the upper end, and the left and right handles 7, respectively. It cuts along the cut horizontal line 12 extending in the left-right straight line along the portion directly below the lower end of the upper heat seal portion 9 (see the alternate long and short dash line in FIG. 3B). The cut vertical line 11 at this time is set at a position passing through the folding portion 3a as shown in FIG.

As a result, a handle 7 is formed on the left and right of the protective cover 3, and an upper surface cover portion 8 is formed between the left and right handles 7. As shown in FIG. 3B, the left and right cuts 11 are preferably formed so that the proximal end sides are curved inward and close to each other.

Referring to FIG. 1 again, the outer box 4 is made of corrugated cardboard, has a rectangular parallelepiped shape, and has a flap 13 that can be opened and closed on the upper surface. Further, the cushioning material 5 is made of a pulp mold or foamed plastic, and a total of eight corners including four upper corner portions 2a and four lower corner portions 2b of the image forming apparatus 2 housed in the outer box 4. Each of the portions has a shape in which a concave portion 14 into which the upper surface corner 2a and the lower surface corner 2b can be respectively fitted is formed in a part of the block shape. As a result, a gap 15 of 30 mm is formed at the minimum portion between the outer peripheral surface 2 c of the image forming apparatus 2 housed inside the outer box 4 and the inner surface 4 a of the outer box 4.

Next, a method of using the packaging material 1 according to the embodiment of the present invention having the above-described configuration will be described with reference to FIGS. 4 and 5.

As shown in FIG. 4, when the flap 13 of the outer box 4 is raised and opened, the handle 7 of the protective cover 3 is gripped and pulled upward (in the direction of the arrow in FIG. 4) to protect it. The image forming apparatus 2 accommodated in the cover 3 is lifted upward together with the protective cover 3.

With the lifting operation of the image forming apparatus 2, as shown in FIG. 5, the cushioning materials 5 arranged at the four upper corners 2 a of the image forming apparatus 2 are lifted together with the image forming apparatus 2. Then, it rides over the upper end of the flap 13 in the standing posture and falls outward.

As described above, according to the packaging material 1 according to the embodiment of the present invention, the image forming apparatus 2 can be easily removed from the outer box 4 simply by the operator pulling the handle 7 of the protective cover 3 upward. it can. That is, when the image forming apparatus 2 is taken out from the outer box 4, the cushioning material 5 disposed above is removed, or the body is bent greatly and both hands are placed in the gap 15 between the image forming apparatus 2 and the outer box 4. Therefore, it is not necessary to hold and lift the bottom surface of the image forming apparatus 2 so that the image forming apparatus 2 can be easily taken out from the outer box 5 and the labor for unpacking can be greatly reduced. Can be reduced.

Further, when the image forming apparatus 2 is taken out from the outer box 4, it is not necessary to insert an operator's hand into the gap 15 between the outer peripheral surface 2 c of the image forming apparatus 2 and the inner surface 4 a of the outer box 4. Over the entire outer periphery of the image forming apparatus 2, for example, can be significantly reduced from the conventional 50 to 70 mm to 30 mm. As a result, the outer box can be reduced in size, and the distribution cost of the image forming apparatus 2 can be reduced.

Note that the packaging material according to the present invention is not limited to the above-described configuration and manufacturing method, and when the image forming apparatus 2 is relatively heavy, for example, when it has a weight of 15 kg or more. As shown in FIG. 6, the length of the handle 21 can be shortened to such an extent that the left and right handles 21 cannot be bundled in a state where the image forming apparatus 2 is accommodated in the protective cover 20. The protective cover 20 is formed with an upper surface cover portion 22 for covering the upper surface of the image forming apparatus 2 accommodated in the protective cover 3 between the left and right handles 21. A cut space 23 is formed in a U shape between the cover portions 22.

The protective cover 20 in this case is manufactured by the following method. That is, as shown in FIG. 7, first, at a position slightly apart from the upper end of the cylindrical synthetic resin sheet, heat seal a predetermined length from the left and right ends, respectively, to form the upper heat seal portion 24, The lower end is heat-sealed linearly to form the lower heat seal portion 25 (see the hatched portion in FIG. 7).

Next, in a state in which the plurality of synthetic resin sheets on which the upper heat seal portion 24 and the lower heat seal portion 25 are formed are polymerized, the length of the upper heat seal portion 24 is directly above the upper end of the upper heat seal portion 24 from the left and right ends. A cut horizontal line 26 extending in a straight line to the left and right to a length slightly shorter than the length, and after extending linearly to a predetermined length downward from the cut horizontal line 26, it is inverted upward to draw a U shape, and the upper end of the synthetic resin sheet And cut along the cut U-shaped line 27 extending linearly until reaching (see the one-dot chain line in FIG. 7). As a result, the handle 21 is formed shorter on the left and right sides of the upper portion of the protective cover 3, and the upper surface cover portion 22 is formed between the left and right handles 21.

By forming the handle 21 short in this way, the left and right handles 21 cannot be bundled in a state where the image forming apparatus 2 is accommodated in the protective cover 20, so that the image forming apparatus 2 can be attached to the outer box 4 by one operator. It becomes extremely difficult to perform the work of taking out from Further, when the image forming apparatus 2 is taken out of the outer box 4, the handle 21 does not become too high, so that it can be easily held. As a result, separate workers hold the left and right handles 21 to lift the image forming apparatus 2 accommodated in the protective cover 3, so that the image forming apparatus 2 is taken out when the image forming apparatus 2 is taken out. Therefore, the operator is not injured and the image forming apparatus 2 is not damaged, and the safety of the work can be improved.

In the above description of the embodiment of the present invention, since the preferred embodiment of the packaging material according to the present invention is described, the shape of the protective cover, the outer box, etc., which are components of the packaging material, There are cases where various technically preferable limitations are applied in dimensions, positions, directions, manufacturing methods, etc., but the technical scope of the present invention is not limited to these embodiments unless otherwise specified. It is not limited. That is, the above-described components in the embodiment of the present invention can be appropriately replaced with existing components and the like, and various variations including combinations with other existing components are possible.
