Bi3+を14〜35%、
Nb5+を10〜33%、
Ti4+を0〜18%、
W6+を0〜20%
含み、
Bi3+、Nb5+、Ti4+およびW6+の合計含有量が58%以上、
屈折率ndが2.05を超え、アッベ数νdが18.5以下であることを特徴とする光学ガラス。

液相温度における粘度が1.0dPa・s以上である[1]に記載の光学ガラス。

Li+、Na+およびK+のうち、少なくとも1種以上のアルカリ金属成分を含み、
Li+の含有量が7カチオン%以下、
Na+の含有量が20カチオン%以下、
K+の含有量が10カチオン%以下、
Li+、Na+およびK+の合計含有量に対するNa+の含有量の比(Na+/(Li++Na++K+))が0.2〜1である[1]または[2]に記載の光学ガラス。

B3+の含有量が0〜20カチオン%である[1]〜[3]のいずれか1項に記載の光学ガラス。

P5+、Bi3+、Nb5+、Ti4+、W6+、Li+、Na+、K+、Si4+、Ba2+およびB3+の合計含有量が90カチオン%以上である[1]〜[4]のいずれか1項に記載の光学ガラス。

液相温度が940℃以上である[1]〜[5]のいずれか1項に記載の光学ガラス。
