Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a label that is used by being attached to the surface of a synthetic resin molded article and a method for producing the same.
Conventionally, as a method of decorating the surface of a molded product made of synthetic resin, for example, a method of sticking an adhesive label as described in Patent Document 1, a hot stamp method using a transfer film as described in
FIG. 4A is a cross-sectional view showing a typical layer structure of a pressure-sensitive adhesive label that has been conventionally used. This
On the other hand, FIG. 5 is a typical example of a conventional transfer film, and this

FIG. 4B shows an example in which the
By sticking the
Here, in the layer structure shown in FIG. 4B, that is, when the metal
However, the
For example, when the content stored in a synthetic resin container adheres to the outer surface due to consumer use or dripping, the content is transferred from the pinhole or crack of the
In addition, regarding the manufacturing process of the
The
There is a problem that the cost increases because the manufacturing process of the base paper and the printing and punching process of the printing layer are separate processes.
Furthermore, in the manufacturing process of the label having the layer configuration shown in FIG. 4B, a transfer process by the hot stamp method of the
Here, since the transfer process by the hot stamp method requires a stationary time (0.5 to 1 second) in a state where the
Therefore, the present invention has a technical problem to create a layer structure that can be produced on an integrated line without erosion of the metal thin film due to the contents or the like on the label decorated with the metal thin film layer.
The present invention relates to a label and a method for manufacturing the label. Hereinafter, the structure of the label will be described first, and then the manufacturing method will be described.
The main configuration relating to the label of the present invention according to the means for solving the technical problem is as follows.
On the back side of the base film made of synthetic resin, a first adhesive layer in which a first ultraviolet curable adhesive is partially cured by ultraviolet irradiation in a predetermined pattern is laminated,
Laminating a metal thin film layer on the first adhesive layer;
Laminating a second adhesive layer obtained by curing the second ultraviolet curable pressure-sensitive adhesive by ultraviolet irradiation on the back side of the base film including the metal thin film layer,
Furthermore, it is said that it is set as the structure which laminated | stacked the transparent peeling film.
The other structure which concerns on the label of this invention is said to laminate | stack a printing layer on the back surface side of a base film in the said main structure.
According to the label of the above configuration, since printing is laminated on the back surface of the synthetic resin base film on the outermost surface side, it is possible to reliably prevent damage such as scratches due to rubbing of the printing layer without adding a protective layer. Can do.
Further, as will be described later, the first adhesive layer is an adhesive layer obtained by curing the first UV curable adhesive by UV irradiation, and the first adhesive layer is only heated by pressure without being heated. The metal thin film layer can be transferred from the transfer film to the back side of the substrate film via the layer, and the label can be printed, including the printing process of the printing layer, the transfer process of the metal thin film layer, and the stamping process of the label. It is possible to manufacture on an integrated line.
In addition, in the said structure or subsequent description, in order to clarify the layer structure of a label, the directionality of the layer structure called the surface side or the back surface side is shown for convenience, for example, the back surface side of a base film. Although the terminology is used, the back side is the side to be attached to the surface of the molded product, and the front side is the opposite side.
In the above configuration, or in the following description, the first and second ultraviolet curable pressure-sensitive adhesives and the second ultraviolet curable pressure-sensitive adhesive, or the first pressure-sensitive adhesive layer and the second pressure-sensitive adhesive layer are used. Are merely used to distinguish both UV-curable pressure-sensitive adhesives from both pressure-sensitive adhesive layers.
In the following description, for example, ultraviolet light is abbreviated as UV so that the first ultraviolet curable pressure sensitive adhesive is the first UV curable pressure sensitive adhesive.
Next, the main structure according to the label manufacturing method of the present invention is as follows.
The first UV curing adhesive is partially laminated in a predetermined pattern by printing on the back side of the transparent base film,
The first UV curable adhesive is irradiated with UV to form and laminate the first adhesive layer,
The transfer film is polymerized on the back side of the base film including the first pressure-sensitive adhesive layer, and the metal thin film layer is transferred and laminated to the first pressure-sensitive adhesive layer only by pressure without heating.
The back side of the base film including the transferred metal thin film layer is coated with the second UV curable adhesive by printing, and further a transparent release film is laminated,
Forming and laminating a second adhesive layer to be applied to the surface of the synthetic resin molded product by irradiating the second UV curable adhesive with UV from the release film side,
It is said.

Can be formed in a short time, and transfer of the metal thin film layer to the first adhesive layer can be achieved in a short time only by pressure without heating,
Without including the manufacturing process of the base paper, the printing process, the transfer process of the metal thin film layer, etc., including the formation of the adhesive layer, the lamination process,
The label can be manufactured at a low cost on an integrated line along the steps described in the following (1) to (5).
(1) A printing layer is formed and laminated in a predetermined pattern on the front side or the back side of the base film by printing.
(2) The first UV curable pressure-sensitive adhesive is partially printed in a predetermined pattern on the back surface side of the base film by printing, and the first pressure-sensitive adhesive layer is formed and laminated by irradiation with UV.

Moreover, it is also possible to add a process of punching a label after the processes (1) to (5) as an integrated line.
Since the present invention has the above-described configuration, the following effects can be obtained.
That is, the feature of the label having the main structure of the present invention is that a base film made of synthetic resin is laminated on the outermost surface side, and an acrylic resin or epoxy like a transfer foil including a conventional metal thin film layer. There are no problems such as pinholes and cracks that cannot be avoided with a conventional protective layer with a thickness of about 1 micrometer formed by applying a resin. It is possible to effectively suppress problems such as erosion, corrosion, cracking, and sag of the metal thin film layer due to adhesion of the metal, etc., and it is possible to keep the decorating property of the metal thin film layer beautifully without losing the long term .
Moreover, since the function of the protective layer is exhibited by the base film, it is not necessary to laminate a protective layer separately, the layer configuration can be simplified as a whole, and the cost can be reduced.
Further, according to the production method of the present invention, the first adhesive layer and the second adhesive layer are formed and laminated by printing a UV curable adhesive and irradiating with ultraviolet rays. It can be formed in a short time without the need for a process, and the transfer of the metal thin film layer to the first adhesive layer can be achieved in a short time only by pressure without heating by the cold stamp method.
A label can be manufactured at a low cost with an integrated line without making the manufacturing process of the base paper, the printing process, the transfer process of the metal thin film, etc. separate processes including the formation of the adhesive layer and the lamination process.

As mentioned above, although the structure of this invention and its effect were demonstrated along the Example, the label of this invention and its manufacturing method are limited to these Examples as it described individually in the past description. It is not a thing.
For example, in the above examples, a CPP film was used as the base film for the label, and an OPP film was used as the release film. Other synthetic resin films can be selected as appropriate.
In addition, the UV curable adhesive can be selected in consideration of printing characteristics and adhesiveness after curing, and the adhesiveness can be adjusted by the UV irradiation amount.
The label manufacturing process of the present invention is a process in which, for example, the order of the process P1 and the process P2 is changed in consideration of the overall production efficiency in the integrated production line of the label 1 including the process P1 to the process P6 described above. The punching process of P6 can also be carried out in a separate line, and various variations can be made within the scope of the present invention in consideration of the decoration of the label and productivity.
Moreover, not only the color tone peculiar to a metal thin film layer but a 1st adhesion layer and a metal thin film layer can be laminated | stacked on a halftone colored printing layer, and it can also be set as the decoration which has the metallic luster colored arbitrarily.
As described above, the label of the present invention effectively suppresses the occurrence of erosion, corrosion, cracking, peeling, etc. of the metal thin film layer due to adhesion of contents, etc. It can be held beautifully without loss, and can be manufactured at a low cost by production on an integrated line, and is expected to be widely used in fields such as synthetic resin containers.
