Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a vehicle steering assistance device and a steering assistance method for providing information to assist a steering operation to a driver via a steering wheel.
2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, there is a steering assist device that provides information to assist a steering operation to a driver via a steering wheel (steering wheel) for the purpose of traveling an optimal travel route for the host vehicle. An example of such a steering assist device is described in Patent Document 1.
The steering assist device described in Patent Literature 1 sets the possibility of contact with an obstacle predicted at present and in the future according to the relative motion between the obstacle and the host vehicle. This is a technique for the host vehicle to travel on the optimal travel route for avoiding objects. Here, in order for the host vehicle to travel on the travel route optimal for avoiding the obstacle, steering control is performed to output torque to the steered wheels.
However, in the steering assist device described in Patent Document 1, the steering assist torque output to the steerable wheels can change suddenly under circumstances where there is a possibility of frequent steering operations, for example, when traveling on narrow roads. May change intermittently or intermittently.
The present invention has been made paying attention to the above-described problems, and provides a vehicle steering assistance device and a steering assistance method capable of suppressing a rapid change and an intermittent change in steering assistance torque. The task is to do.
In order to solve the above problems, according to one aspect of the present invention, a target steering angle, which is a target rotation angle of a steering wheel in order for the vehicle to travel on a guidance route, is calculated. The steering angle deviation, which is the difference from the rotation angle, is calculated. Then, a steering assist torque for reducing the steering angle deviation is calculated, and the calculated steering assist torque is output to the steered wheels. Here, the guidance route is a route on which the host vehicle should travel on the traveling route of the host vehicle, and is generated based on the guide attitude angle, the guide lateral position, the current attitude angle of the host vehicle, the lateral position, and the yaw rate. . Further, the guidance posture angle is a posture angle targeted by the host vehicle before reaching the target passing position that is a target position through which the host vehicle passes on the travel path on which the host vehicle travels. It is the lateral position targeted by the host vehicle before reaching the passing position.
According to the present invention, the steering assist torque for reducing the steering angle deviation is added to the current attitude by adding the steering attitude torque and the lateral lateral position to which the host vehicle is targeted until reaching the target passing position from the current position. Calculate based on corner, current lateral position and current yaw rate.
For this reason, it is possible to continuously change the steering assist torque until the host vehicle reaches the target passing position from the current position, and the guide route generated by suppressing the sudden change and the intermittent change of the curvature is generated. The vehicle can be made to travel.

In the present embodiment, as an example, the target passing
In FIG. 2, the narrowest portion N detected within the range of the predetermined radius D centered on the host vehicle Ca at the initial position is indicated by the symbol “N1”, and the predetermined radius D centered on the host vehicle Ca. The center position P detected within the range of is indicated by the symbol “P1”. In FIG. 2, the narrowest portion N detected within a predetermined radius D centered on the host vehicle Cb at the position moved from the initial position is indicated by a symbol “N2”, and the host vehicle Cb is the center. The center position P detected within the range of the predetermined radius D is indicated by the symbol “P2”. Further, in FIG. 2, a boundary line indicating a region of the predetermined radius D centered on the host vehicle Ca is indicated by a symbol “DLa”, and a boundary line indicating a region of the predetermined radius D centered on the host vehicle Cb is This is indicated by the symbol “DLb”.
具体的には、図3中に示すように、車速がV1(例えば、10[km/h])以下の領域では、所定半径DをD1(例えば、3[m])に設定する。
Here, the predetermined radius D is set according to the vehicle speed V of the host vehicle C, for example, as shown in FIG. FIG. 3 is a diagram showing a relationship between a predetermined radius D set in advance and the vehicle speed V of the host vehicle C.
Specifically, as shown in FIG. 3, in a region where the vehicle speed is V 1 (for example, 10 [km / h]) or less, the predetermined radius D is set to D 1 (for example, 3 [m]). In a region where the vehicle speed exceeds V 1 (for example, a speed region exceeding 10 [km / h]), the predetermined radius D is increased (for example, increased at a distance exceeding 3 [m]) as the vehicle speed increases. The own vehicle attitude angle detection unit 8 is formed using, for example, a G sensor (acceleration sensor), and detects the current attitude angle of the own vehicle. Then, the vehicle attitude angle detection unit 8 outputs an information signal including the detected current attitude angle to the guidance
自車位置検出部10は、例えば、GPS(Global Positioning System)を用いて形成し、自車両の現在位置を検出する。

The guidance
Here, the guidance posture angle is a posture angle targeted by the host vehicle C before reaching the target passage position detected by the target passage
Further, the calculation of the guidance posture angle is performed so that the traveling direction (front-rear direction) of the host vehicle C is parallel to the extending direction (length direction) of the travel path, for example.
Further, the calculated lateral lateral position is calculated so that, for example, the deviation between the lateral position of the host vehicle C and the lateral position of the host vehicle C at the target passing position when calculating the guided lateral position is reduced.
The guidance
Here, the guidance route is a route on which the host vehicle C should travel on the travel route detected by the travel route detection unit 2.
The guidance route is generated by using a path curvature k (s) calculated using the following equation (1), an attitude angle φ (s) calculated using the following equation (2), and the following equation (3): This is performed based on the lateral position x (s) calculated using.
In the above formulas (1) to (3), k 0 is the current path curvature, φ 0 is the current posture angle, and x 0 is the current lateral position.
Further, λ (λ 1 , λ 2 , λ 3 ) in the above formulas (1) to (3) is a path coefficient (coefficient used for generating the guidance path), and is calculated by the following formula (4). .
Here, λ in the equations (1) to (3) is the path curvature k (y) = 0 at the guidance position, the posture angle φ (y) = 0 at the guidance position, and the lateral position x (y) = at the guidance position. Calculate as ζ.
s=T×V …(5)
Then, the path coefficients λ (λ 1 , λ 2 , λ 3 ) calculated using the above equation (4) are substituted into the above equations (1) to (3), and further, the following equation (5) Substituting the guidance distance s calculated in (1) into the above equations (1) to (3), the guidance point for generating the guidance route is calculated.
s = T × V (5)
Here, in the above equation (5), T is the calculation time of the guidance distance, and V is the vehicle speed of the host vehicle C.

Here, in the present embodiment, as an example, a case will be described in which a vehicle motion model is stored in advance in the target steering
The vehicle motion model is, for example, a model indicating vehicle motion (yaw rate or the like) generated according to the steering angle and speed (vehicle speed) when the host vehicle C is traveling, and is a parameter specific to the vehicle.

In the present embodiment, as an example, the torque command value T o, will be described be calculated using equation (7) shown below.
T o = Z × δθ = Z × (θ−θ * ) (7)
In the above formula (7), “Z” is a coefficient corresponding to the convergence speed to the target steering angle θ * stored in the target steering

Steering assist
T=(θ−θ*)×θ’+To … (8)
Here, as an example, a case where the steering assist

Accordingly, the steering assist

In step S112, the guidance
In step S114, the route curvature k at the guidance position is calculated by the guidance route generation unit 18 ("calculate the path curvature at the guidance position" shown in step S114). When the path curvature k at the guidance position is detected in step S114, the processing performed by the steering assist device 1 proceeds to step S116.
In step S116, the guidance
In step S118, the guide
In step S120, the guidance
In step S122, the steering assist
When the steering assist torque corresponding to the torque attenuation command value T is output to the steered wheels, the driver steers the steered wheels from which the steering assist torque for causing the vehicle C to travel on the guide route is output.
また、図5中では、障害物B(小型車両B1、大型車両B2、車幅方向右側の側壁B3、車幅方向左側の側壁B4)を、図2中と同様に示す。 Therefore, when the steering assist torque corresponding to the torque attenuation command value T is output to the steered wheels, for example, as shown in FIG. 5, the steering assist torque for setting the traveling route of the host vehicle C as the guide route R is output. The driver steers the steered wheels. FIG. 5 is a diagram showing the positional relationship between the host vehicle C and the obstacle B on the travel path. Further, in FIG. 5, the obstacle B (small vehicle B1, large vehicle B2, side wall B3 on the right side in the vehicle width direction, and side wall B4 on the left side in the vehicle width direction) is shown in the same manner as in FIG. Further, in FIG. 5, the narrowest portion N, the center position P, the predetermined radius D centered on the host vehicle C, and the boundary line DL indicating the region of the predetermined radius D centered on the host vehicle C are shown in FIG. The same is shown.
Here, the torque command signal calculated by the steering assist
Therefore, the steering assist torque can be continuously changed until the traveling host vehicle C reaches the target passing position from the current position. As a result, it is possible to cause the host vehicle C to travel on the guidance route R generated by suppressing a rapid change or intermittent change in curvature.
When the electric motor is controlled in step S122 and the steering assist torque corresponding to the torque attenuation command value T is output to the steered wheels, the processing performed by the steering assist device 1 returns to the processing in step S100 ("RETURN" shown in FIG. 4). )).
As described above, the steering support method implemented by the operation of the steering support device 1 of the present embodiment includes the target passing position detecting step for detecting the target passing position, and the guiding posture angle calculating step for calculating the guiding posture angle. And a guide lateral position calculating step for calculating the guide lateral position. In addition, there is a guide route generation step for generating the guide route R based on the above-described guide posture angle, guide lateral position, current posture angle, current lateral position, and current yaw rate. Furthermore, a target steering angle calculating step for calculating a target steering angle, a steering angle deviation calculating step for calculating a steering angle deviation, a steering assist torque calculating step for calculating steering assist torque, and outputting the steering assist torque to the steered wheels.
(Effects of the first embodiment)
(1) Based on the guidance posture angle, the guidance lateral position, the current posture angle of the subject vehicle C, the lateral position, and the yaw rate, the guidance
For this reason, it is possible to continuously change the steering assist torque until the traveling own vehicle C reaches the target passing position from the current position.
As a result, it is possible to cause the host vehicle C to travel on the guidance route R generated while suppressing a rapid change or intermittent change in curvature.
In addition, since it is possible to suppress changes in the steering angle from being affected by the shape of the obstacle, even if the traveling driver wants to maintain the steering angle, the change in the steering angle is suppressed. It becomes possible to do.
(2) The target passing
As a result, it is possible to guide the lateral position and posture angle of the host vehicle C to an appropriate state at a position where the host vehicle C is likely to contact an obstacle on the travel road. The possibility of contact with an obstacle can be reduced.
Further, compared to the case where the target passage position is detected in consideration of an object other than the obstacle constituting the narrowest portion N on the traveling road, the number of calculation processing steps required for detection of the target passage position can be reduced. It becomes possible. In addition, it is possible to shorten the calculation processing cycle required for detecting the target passage position, compared to the case where the target passage position is detected in consideration of an object other than the obstacle constituting the narrowest portion N.
As a result, it is possible to suppress a delay in the output of the steering assist torque for the steered wheels, and to improve the response of the steering control.
(3) The target passing
As a result, for example, the target passing position can be detected within a range that the driver can easily recognize, such as a range according to the vehicle speed V of the host vehicle C, and the steering is compared with the case where the predetermined radius D is not set. It is possible to further suppress sudden changes and intermittent changes in the support torque.
(4) The target passage
As a result, in order to calculate the steering assist torque in real time after detecting the target passing position in real time (Real Time), compared with the case where the processing is not performed at predetermined time intervals, the steering assist torque is drastically reduced. It becomes possible to further suppress changes and intermittent changes.
(5) The guidance
As a result, it is possible to generate a continuous curvilinear guidance route based on the guidance attitude angle, the guidance lateral position, the current attitude angle of the host vehicle C, the lateral position, and the yaw rate.
(6) In the steering assist method according to the present embodiment, in the guidance route generation step, the driver's own vehicle travel path is determined based on the guidance attitude angle, the guidance lateral position, the current attitude angle of the host vehicle C, the lateral position, and the yaw rate. A guidance route for the vehicle to travel is generated.
For this reason, it is possible to continuously change the steering assist torque until the traveling own vehicle C reaches the target passing position from the current position.
As a result, it is possible to cause the host vehicle C to travel on the guidance route R generated while suppressing a rapid change or intermittent change in curvature. In addition, since it is possible to suppress the change in the steering angle from being affected by the shape of the obstacle, the change in the steering angle can be achieved even when the traveling driver wants to maintain the steering angle. Can be suppressed.

The laser sensor can receive the laser beam and receive the laser beam reflected by obstacles on the travel route after the laser irradiation. The travel route and obstacles can be detected based on the laser irradiation time. It is good also as a structure.
(6) In the steering assist device 1 of the present embodiment, the driver operates the steering assist device 1 by operating a switch that operates the steering assist device 1 while the host vehicle C is traveling. It is not limited.
