該下糸残量が測定された時、該下糸残量が所定の下限下糸量未満であるか否か、下限下糸量以上である場合は更に前記縫い目データと該下糸残量とから前記形状を縫製するに下糸が不足するか否か予測し、不足する場合には下糸不足位置を予測する下糸不足予測装置と、
前記下糸不足位置に基づいて、縫いを停止すべき位置を決定する停止位置決定装置と、
前記停止位置に達した時にミシンを中途停止させる中途停止制御装置と、
前記下糸が下限下糸量未満である場合に、その旨を告知する告知装置と、
前記下糸残量測定装置に、縫製開始時と前記中途停止時に下糸残量を測定させ、下糸が下限下糸量以上である場合には、ミシンを稼働させ、前記中途停止中の時は停止を解除してミシンを再稼働させる、制御装置と、
を備えたことを特徴とするミシン。
