Claims (7)

  1. ビデオコンテンツ受信機装置において、
    所定の暗号化方法を使用して暗号化された複数の暗号化部分を含むように選択的に暗号化されたデジタルビデオコンテンツのストリームを受信するステップと、
    前記デジタルビデオコンテンツのストリームを、前記ビデオコンテンツ受信機装置の一部を成すプロセッサがアクセスできるメモリに記憶するステップと、
    前記メモリに記憶された前記デジタルビデオコンテンツのストリームのうちの前記暗号化部分をスマートカードインターフェイスを介してスマートカードへ送信するステップと、
    を含み、
    前記スマートカードにおいて、
    前記暗号化部分を受信し、該暗号化部分を暗号解読して暗号解読部分を生成するステップと、
    前記暗号解読部分を、前記ビデオコンテンツ受信機装置の一部を成す前記プロセッサへ前記スマートカードインターフェイスを介して返送するステップと、
    を含み、
    前記ビデオコンテンツ受信機装置において、
    前記暗号解読部分を前記メモリに記憶し、前記デジタルビデオコンテンツのストリームを、前記メモリに記憶された、前記暗号化部分に取って代わる前記暗号解読部分で、暗号化されていないデジタルビデオコンテンツのストリームとして再構築するステップと、
    を含み、
    前記暗号化部分が、トランスポートストリームパケット又はインターネットプロトコル（ＩＰ）パケットの一方の一部分である、
    ことを特徴とする暗号解読方法。
  2. 前記暗号化部分が前記スマートカードインターフェイスを介して送信される前に、前記ビデオコンテンツ受信機装置の一部を成す前記プロセッサが、前記暗号化部分をローカル鍵を使用して暗号化し、該暗号化部分が、前記スマートカードによる受信後に前記ローカル鍵で暗号解読される、
    ことを特徴とする請求項１に記載の方法。
  3. 前記ビデオコンテンツ受信機装置の一部を成す前記プロセッサに前記暗号解読部分を返送する前に、前記スマートカードが、前記暗号解読部分をローカル鍵で暗号化し、該部分が、前記ビデオコンテンツ受信機装置の一部を成す前記プロセッサによる受信前にローカル鍵で暗号解読される、
    ことを特徴とする請求項１に記載の方法。
  4. 前記スマートカードインターフェイスがＩＳＯ７８１６規格に基づく、
    ことを特徴とする請求項１に記載の方法。
  5. 前記再構築したストリームをデコーダへ送信するステップ、又は前記再構築したストリームをハードディスクドライブに記録するステップをさらに含む、
    ことを特徴とする請求項１に記載の方法。
  6. ビデオコンテンツ受信機装置において、
    所定の複数の暗号化方法を使用して暗号化された複数の多重暗号化部分を含むように選択的に多重暗号化されたデジタルビデオコンテンツのストリームを受信するステップと、
    前記デジタルビデオコンテンツのストリームを、前記ビデオコンテンツ受信機装置の一部を成すプロセッサがアクセスできるメモリに記憶するステップと、
    前記メモリに記憶された前記デジタルビデオコンテンツのストリームのうちの、前記所定の複数の暗号化方法のうちの１つを使用する前記暗号化部分をスマートカードインターフェイスを介してスマートカードへ送信するステップと、
    を含み、
    前記スマートカードにおいて、
    前記暗号化部分を受信し、該暗号化部分を暗号解読して暗号解読部分を生成するステップと、
    前記暗号解読部分を、前記ビデオコンテンツ受信機装置の一部を成す前記プロセッサへ前記スマートカードインターフェイスを介して返送するステップと、
    前記ビデオコンテンツ受信機装置において、
    前記暗号解読部分を前記メモリに記憶し、前記デジタルビデオコンテンツのストリームを、前記メモリに記憶された、前記多重暗号化部分に取って代わる前記暗号解読部分で、暗号化されていないデジタルビデオコンテンツのストリームとして再構築するステップと、
    を含み、
    前記暗号化部分が、トランスポートストリームパケット又はインターネットプロトコル（ＩＰ）パケットの一方の一部分である、
    ことを特徴とする暗号解読方法。
  7. 有料放送ＴＶ受信機で使用するためのスマートカードであって、
    暗号処理回路を収容するスマートカード含み、
    前記スマートカードの暗号処理回路が、前記スマートカードがアクセスできる外部メモリ内の、選択的に暗号化されたビデオコンテンツの暗号化部分を受け取り、
    前記暗号化部分を、前記スマートカードの内部暗号処理回路において暗号解読して暗号解読部分を生成し、ここで、該暗号解読部分は、前記外部メモリに記憶され、該外部メモリにおいて、前記暗号解読部分が、暗号化部分に取って代わって平文のビデオコンテンツのストリームを生成するものであり、
    前記暗号化部分が、トランスポートストリームパケット又はインターネットプロトコル（ＩＰ）パケットの一方の一部分である、ことを特徴とするスマートカード。
