Description
Claims (25)
- 中足楔状関節に亘る固定のために適合されるプレートであって、
楔状骨への固定のために適合される近位部分と、中足骨への固定のために適合される遠位部分とを含み、前記近位部分及び前記遠位部分は、関節軸に沿って分割され、
前記近位部分は、前記関節軸に隣接する第一孔と、該第一孔の近位にある第二孔とを定め、
前記遠位部分は、前記関節軸に隣接する第三孔と、該第三孔の遠位にある第四孔とを定め、前記近位部分の前記第一孔及び前記第二孔並びに前記遠位部分の前記第三孔及び前記第四孔が前記関節軸に亘って実質的に台形の配列に向けられる、
プレート。 - 前記遠位部分及び前記近位部分は、端部分を含み、当該プレートは、前記遠位端部分から前記近位端部分に幅が増大する、請求項1に記載のプレート。
- 前記遠位端部分の幅は、10.5+/−3mmである、請求項2に記載のプレート。
- 前記近位端部分の幅は、16+/−4mmである、請求項2に記載のプレート。
- 骨接触表面と、当該プレートの前記関節軸に対応する領域において前記骨接触表面に沿って定められる凹部とを更に含む、請求項1に記載のプレート。
- 柔軟性をもたらすよう前記凹部内に形成される通路を更に含む、請求項5に記載のプレート。
- 前記孔の配列によって定められる前記台形の非平行側部は、57+/−15度の角度を定める、請求項1に記載のプレート。
- 前記第一孔と前記第三孔との間の距離は、12+/−4mmである、請求項1に記載のプレート。
- 当該プレートは、前記近位部分から前記遠位部分に定められる長手軸に沿って漸進的な捻れを有する、請求項1に記載のプレート。
- 当該プレートは、前記長手軸に沿って約12+/−6度だけ捩れる、請求項8に記載のプレート。
- 前記孔は、皿頭付きであり、且つ、ネジ山付きである、請求項1に記載のプレート。
- 前記第一孔及び前記第二孔の近位に定められる他の孔を更に含み、該他の孔は、皿頭付きであり、且つ、ネジ山付きである、請求項1に記載のプレート。
- 前記第三孔及び前記第四孔の遠位に定められる2つの追加的な孔を更に含み、該2つの追加的な孔の一方は、細長い構造を有し、前記2つの追加的な孔の他方は、皿頭付きであり、且つ、ネジ山付きである、請求項12に記載のプレート。
- 前記近位部分における前記3つの皿頭付き孔は、三角形配置に向けられ、前記遠位部分における前記3つの皿頭付き孔は、三角形配置に向けられる、請求項13に記載のプレート。
- 当該プレートは、1mm〜25mmの伸延長さに適合する、請求項1に記載のプレート。
- 中足骨楔状骨関節に亘る固定のために適合されるプレートであって、
凹部を内部に定める骨接触表面と、
楔状骨への固定のために適合される近位部分と、中足骨への固定のために適合される遠位部分とを含み、前記近位部分及び前記遠位部分は、前記凹部に概ね対応する関節軸に沿って分割され、当該プレートは、前記近位部分から前記遠位部分に漸進的な捻れを有し、
前記近位部分は、前記関節軸に隣接する第一孔と、該第一孔の近位にある第二孔とを定め、
前記遠位部分は、前記関節軸に隣接する第三孔と、該第三孔の遠位にある第四孔とを定め、前記近位部分の前記第一孔及び前記第二孔、並びに、前記遠位部分の前記第三孔及び前記第四孔は、前記関節軸に亘って実質的に台形の配列に向けられる、
プレート。 - 柔軟性をもたらすよう前記凹部内に形成される通路を更に含む、請求項15に記載のプレート。
- 前記孔は、皿頭付きであり、且つ、ネジ山付きである、請求項15に記載のプレート。
- 中足楔状関節を定着する方法であって、
固定プレートを内側楔状骨に隣接して位置付け、前記プレートは、関節軸に沿って分割される近位部分と遠位部分とを有し、前記関節軸は、前記中足楔状関節に対応し、前記プレートは、その骨接触表面に沿って定められる凹部を更に有するステップと、
前記プレートを通じて三角形に向けられる3つのネジを使用して前記プレートを前記楔状骨に固定するステップと、
中足骨の端部が前記楔状骨に当接し、且つ、前記プレートによって定められる前記凹部内に適合するよう、前記中足骨を側方及び下方に平行移動し且つ回転させるステップと、
前記プレートを通じて三角形に向けられる3つのネジを使用して前記プレートを前記中足骨に固定するステップとを含む、
方法。 - 前記中足骨は、3+/−3mmの距離だけ下方に平行移動される、請求項19に記載の方法。
- 前記プレートを前記中足骨に固定する前に前記中足楔状関節を圧縮するステップを更に含む、請求項19に記載の方法。
- 前記プレートは、前記中足骨の回転後に前記中足骨の輪郭に一致するよう、前記近位部分から前記遠位部分に漸進的な捩れを有する、請求項19に記載の方法。
- 前記プレートを第二中足骨に固定するステップを更に含む、請求項19に記載の方法。
- 前記プレートを中間楔状骨に固定するステップを更に含む、求項19に記載の方法。
- 前記固定プレートは、筋肉及び腱の付着のない前記内側楔状骨及び前記第一中足骨の領域に対する配置のために設計される、請求項19に記載の方法。
