Abstract
Description
Claims (14)
- 二次電池パックであって、
バッテリーセルと、絶縁性取付部材と、保護回路モジュール(PCM)と、及び絶縁性キャップとを備えてなり、
前記バッテリーセルが、バッテリーケース中に電解質と共に密封された状態で取り付けられたカソード/セパレータ/アノード構造の電極アセンブリーを有してなり、
前記バッテリーセルが、前記バッテリーセルの上部に一対の連結溝を備えてなり、前記連結溝の中に接続連結部材が挿入されてなるものであり、前記連結溝のそれぞれが予め決められた深さを有してなり、
前記絶縁性取付部材が開口部を有し、前記開口部を介して前記バッテリーセルの電極端子が外側に露出してなり、
前記絶縁性取付部材が、保護回路モジュール(PCM)が前記絶縁性取付部材の上部に配置される構造を有するように形成されてなり、前記絶縁性取付部材が、前記バッテリーセルの上部に取り付けられてなり、
前記保護回路モジュール(PCM)が、前記バッテリーセルの過充電、過放電、及び過電流を制御するための保護回路を有してなり、
前記PCMが、前記バッテリーセルとの機械的連結及び電気的接続を行うための一対の接続連結部材を備えてなり、前記接続連結部材が、下方に突き出ており、前記PCMが前記絶縁性取付部材の上に配置されてなり、
前記絶縁性キャップが前記バッテリーセルの上部に連結されてなり、前記絶縁性キャップが、前記PCMが前記絶縁性取付部材の上に配置された状態で、前記絶縁性取付部材を取り囲んでなるものであり、
前記接続連結部材が、前記絶縁性取付部材が前記バッテリーセルの前記上部に取り付けられた状態で、前記絶縁性取付部材の前記開口部を介して、前記バッテリーセルの前記電極端子に形成された前記連結溝の中に挿入され、
それによって、前記PCMと前記バッテリーセル及び前記絶縁性取付部材との連結、並びに前記バッテリーセルと前記PCMとの間の電気的接続が達成される、二次電池パック。 - 前記バッテリーケースが金属容器である、請求項1に記載の二次電池パック。
- 前記接続連結部材のそれぞれが、導電性接続ピンまたは導電性ネジ構造を有するように形成される、請求項1に記載の二次電池パック。
- 前記接続連結部材が、前記接続連結部材が前記PCMを介して上から伸びてなる構造において、前記PCMに取り付けられてなり、かつ、前記接続連結部材が、前記接続連結部材が前記PCMの前記回路に接続された状態で固定されてなる、請求項3に記載の二次電池パック。
- 前記接続連結部材の、前記電極端子の前記連結溝中への連結が、強制的取付またはネジ連結により達成される、請求項1に記載の二次電池パック。
- 前記PCMが、前記PCMの底部に形成された前記保護回路に正温度係数(PTC)素子を備えてなり、前記正温度係数(PTC)素子が、温度増加と共に前記正温度係数(PTC)素子の抵抗が増加するように形成されてなる、請求項1に記載の二次電池パック。
- 前記連結溝が前記バッテリーセルの上部キャップに深さ0.3〜3mmに形成されてなる、請求項1に記載の二次電池パック。
- 前記絶縁性取付部材が、前記バッテリーセルの前記上部のサイズにほぼ等しいサイズを有してなり、前記絶縁性取付部材の中央に第一開口部及び第二開口部を備えてなり、
前記第一開口部を介して前記バッテリーセルの第一電極端子が露出し、前記第二開口部を介して前記バッテリーセルの前記バッテリーケースの前記上部の一部(第二電極端子)が露出してなり、
前記第二開口部が、前記第一開口部から予め決められた間隔を置いて配置されてなる、請求項1に記載の二次電池パック。 - 前記絶縁性取付部材の前記上部が、前記PCMに対応する形状に形成され、前記PCMが前記絶縁性取付部材の前記上部に取り付けられてなり、かつ、前記PCMが前記絶縁性取付部材の前記上部に所定の位置で固定されてなり、並びに
前記絶縁性取付部材が、前記絶縁性取付部材の対向する最も外側に突き出た末端に、前記絶縁性キャップと連結するように形成された突出部を備えてなるものである、請求項1に記載の二次電池パック。 - 前記PCMが、前記PCMの対向する末端に、予め決められた幅を有してなる内側に窪んだ溝を備えてなり、
前記絶縁性取付部材が、前記絶縁性取付部材の前記突出部の上部に、前記溝に対応してなる内側に突き出た連結突起を備えてなる、請求項9に記載の二次電池パック。 - 前記バッテリーセルの前記底部に連結されたもう一つの絶縁性キャップ(底部キャップ)をさらに備えてなる、請求項1に記載の二次電池パック。
- 前記バッテリーセルの前記バッテリーケースの外側に貼り付けたシースフィルムをさらに備えてなる、請求項1に記載の二次電池パック。
- 前記バッテリーセルがプリズム形リチウム二次電池セルである、請求項1に記載の二次電池パック。
- 二次電池セルに取り付けられた保護回路モジュール(PCM)であって、
前記PCMが、PCM本体と、及び一対の接続連結部材とを備えてなり、
前記PCM本体が、前記バッテリーセルの過充電、過放電、及び過電流を制御するための保護回路を有してなり、及び
前記一対の接続連結部材が、前記バッテリーセルとの機械的連結及び電気的接続を行うためのものであり、
前記接続連結部材が、導電性のピンまたはネジ構造に形成されており、前記接続連結部材が、前記PCM本体を介して上から伸びてなり、かつ、前記接続連結部材が前記バッテリーセルの電極端子に対応する位置で下方に突き出た状態で固定されてなる、PCM。
