Description
車載故障診断(OBD)は、早期車両自己診断システム及び報告能力を指す。OBDシステムは、様々な車両サブシステムに関する現在の状態情報を供給する。OBDを介して利用可能な診断情報量は、1980年代初期における自動車への車載コンピュータの導入以来大幅に変化した。OBDは当初、検出された問題についての故障表示灯(MIL)を点灯するものであったが、問題の内容に関する情報を提供するものではなかった。最新のOBDの実施例は、標準化された高速デジタル通信ポートを使用して、車両内から誤動作の迅速な識別及びこれに対応する是正措置を設定するための一連の標準故障診断コード(DTC)と組み合わせてリアルタイムデータを提供している。

Claims (17)
- 燃焼エンジンの動作特性を監視するセンサに結合された制御装置と、
前記燃焼エンジンからブローバイガスを通気するように適合された入口及び出口を有するPCV弁と、
前記PCV弁に関連付けられ、前記制御装置に応答して、前記燃焼エンジンから通気するブローバイガスの流体流量を調整可能に増減するようにエンジン真空圧力を選択的に調節する流体レギュレータと、
を備える汚染制御システム。 - 前記制御装置が、ブローバイガス生成の減少期間中に前記エンジン真空圧力を減少させて前記PCV弁を介して前記流体流量を減少させ、ブローバイガス生成の増加期間中に前記エンジン真空圧力を増大させて前記PCV弁を介して前記流体流量を増加させる、
請求項1に記載のシステム。 - 前記PCV弁及び前記空気流レギュレータに流体結合された補助燃料を含む、
請求項1に記載のシステム。 - 前記制御装置に電子的に結合されて、前記PCV弁及び前記空気流レギュレータへの前記補助燃料の放出を選択的に調節するための一方向逆止弁を含む、
請求項3に記載のシステム。 - 前記補助燃料が、圧縮天然ガス(CNG)又は水素ガスを含む、
請求項4に記載のシステム。 - 前記制御装置に関連付けられ、前記制御装置に応答して要求に応じて水素ガスを作る水素発生器を含む、
請求項5に記載のシステム。 - 前記制御装置が、予めプログラムされたソフトウェアプログラム、フラッシュ更新可能なソフトウェアプログラム、又は行動学習ソフトウェアプログラムを含む、
請求項1に記載のシステム。 - 前記制御装置が、前記センサからの測定値に部分的に基づいて前記エンジン真空圧力を変更するように前記流体レギュレータを調整可能に位置決めする、
請求項1に記載のシステム。 - 前記制御装置が、エンジンRPMセンサに結合されたウィンドウスイッチを含み、前記流体レギュレータが、所定のエンジンRPM又は前記ウィンドウスイッチにより設定された複数のエンジンRPMに基づいて選択的に位置決め可能である、
請求項1に記載のシステム。 - 前記制御装置が、エンジン周波数又はエンジン周波数のセットにおいて前記流体レギュレータを作動及び/又は非作動にする、
請求項1に記載のシステム。 - 前記制御装置が、前記燃焼エンジンの作動後の所定の持続時間にわたって流体流を排除するように前記流体レギュレータを設定するオンディレータイマを含む、
請求項1に記載のシステム。 - 前記所定の持続時間が、時間、エンジン温度、又はエンジンRPMの関数である、
請求項11に記載のシステム。 - 前記PCV弁が、二段階逆止弁を含む、
請求項1に記載のシステム。 - 前記制御装置が、無線送信器又は無線受信器を含む、
請求項1に記載のシステム。 - 前記センサが、エンジン温度センサ、点火プラグセンサ、加速度計センサ、PCV弁センサ、又はエミッションセンサを含む、
