Claims (10)
- 相変化インクプリンタの動作方法であって、
インクの一部が液体にありかつ前記インクの別の部分が固体にあって前記インクが相を変えつつある間に、前記相変化インクプリンタのインク流路内の前記インクへ複数の圧力パルスを印加することを含む方法。 - 前記複数の圧力パルスを印加することは、前記インクが相を固体から液体に変えつつある間に、前記複数の圧力パルスを印加することを含む請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記複数の圧力パルスを印加することは、前記インクが相を液体から固体に変えつつある間に、前記複数の圧力パルスを印加することを含む請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記複数の圧力パルスの数は、所定時間において3から15である請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記複数の圧力パルスを印加することは、前記複数の圧力パルスによって変調されたベースライン圧力の送出を制御することを含む請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記複数の圧力パルスのデユーティサイクルは、75%から80%の範囲内である請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記複数の圧力パルスのパターンは、規則正しい請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記複数の圧力パルスのパターンは、ランダムである請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記複数の圧力パルスの振幅、持続時間及び振動数のうちの1つ以上は、パルス毎に変わる請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記複数の圧力パルスの各々は、0psigの圧力から10psigの圧力の間の転移を含む請求項1に記載の方法。
