Abstract
【解決手段】複雑な形状の関節窩又は寛骨臼構成要素の埋め込みの前の、骨の外科的準備のための振動ラスプが開示される。このような振動ラスプの使用のための外科的方法がまた開示される。

Description
2010年11月30日に出願された、表題「Reciprocating Rasps for Use in an Orthopaedic Surgical Procedure」の同時係属米国特許出願公開番号第12/956,914号、及び2010年11月30日に出願された、表題「Reciprocating Rasps for Use in an Orthopaedic Surgical Procedure」の同時係属米国特許出願番号第12/956,881号が相互参照され、双方とも本出願と共通の譲受人に譲渡され、本明細書において参照として組み込まれる。
本開示は一般的に、整形外科用関節置換手術の実施に使用される整形外科用器具、より具体的には、整形外科用関節置換手術の実施に使用される振動ラスプに関連する。
(1) 強化関節窩プロテーゼの埋め込み前の、患者の関節窩の外科的準備に使用するための振動外科用ラスプであって、前記振動外科用ラスプが、
振動ツールのチャックに固定されるように構成された取り付け頭部と、
前記取り付け頭部に固定された切削頭部であって、前記切削頭部が前記振動外科用ラスプの長手方向軸から後方に延びる切削表面を含み、前記切削表面が、前記患者の前記関節窩と接するように規定の経路に沿って振動する際に前記強化関節窩プロテーゼの形状と対応する形状に配置される、複数の切削歯を有する、切削頭部とを含む、振動外科用ラスプ。
(2) 前記切削頭部が、前記振動外科用ラスプの長手方向軸から前方に延びる深さ停止部を更に含む、実施態様1に記載の振動外科用ラスプ。
(3) 想像線が前記振動外科用ラスプの長手方向軸から、前記複数の切削歯のそれぞれの外側表面に沿って後方に延び、
前記想像線が前記振動外科用ラスプの長手方向軸と交差して、その間の交差角を画定し、
前記交差角が30°〜90°である、実施態様1に記載の振動外科用ラスプ。
(4) 前記交差角がおよそ75°である、実施態様3に記載の振動外科用ラスプ。
(5) 前記切削頭部の前記複数の切削歯が、上位切削歯及び前記上位切削歯に対して下位に位置付けられる下位切削歯を含み、
前記上位切削歯の前方端部が、前記下位切削歯の前方端部と第1距離だけ離間しており、
前記上位切削歯の後方端部が、前記下位切削歯の後方端部から前記第1距離よりも短い第2距離だけ離間している、実施態様1に記載の振動外科用ラスプ。
(6) 前記切削頭部の前記複数の切削歯が、複数の上位切削歯及び前記複数の上位切削歯に対して下位に位置付けられる複数の下位切削歯を含み、
前記複数の上位切削歯が互いに平行であるように配置され、かつ前記複数の下位切削歯が互いに平行であるように配置され、
前記複数の上位切削歯及び前記複数の下位切削歯が、互いに対して角度を成して前記外科用ラスプの長手方向軸から後方に延び、互いに対して集束する、実施態様1に記載の振動外科用ラスプ。
(7) 前記切削頭部の前記複数の切削歯が、前記患者の前記関節窩と接するように規定の経路に沿って振動する際に前記強化関節窩プロテーゼの後方バットレスの形状と対応する形状に配置される、実施態様1に記載の振動外科用ラスプ。
(8) 前記切削頭部の前記切削表面の曲率半径の長さが、前記強化関節窩構成要素のバットレスの丸い後方内側表面の曲率半径の長さ±5mmである、実施態様1に記載の振動外科用ラスプ。
(9) 前記切削頭部の前記切削表面の曲率半径の長さが、前記強化関節窩構成要素のバットレスの丸い後方内側表面の曲率半径の長さ±3mmである、実施態様1に記載の振動外科用ラスプ。
(10) 前記切削頭部の前記切削表面の曲率半径の長さが、前記強化関節窩構成要素のバットレスの丸い後方内側表面の曲率半径の長さと等しい、実施態様1に記載の振動外科用ラスプ。
振動外科用ラスプであって、
(i)振動ツールのチャックに取り付けられるように構成された取り付け頭部、及び
(ii)取り付け頭部に固定された切削頭部であって、前記切削頭部が、前記振動外科用ラスプの長手方向軸から後方に延びる切削表面を含み、前記切削表面が、前記患者の前記関節窩と接するように規定の経路に沿って振動する際に前記強化関節窩プロテーゼの形状と対応する形状に配置される、複数の切削歯を有する、切削頭部を含む、振動外科用ラスプと、
操作中に、前記患者の前記関節窩と接するように規定の経路に沿って、前記振動外科用ラスプを案内するように構成されたガイド表面、及び前記ガイド表面の反対側にあり、前記患者の前記関節窩に固定されるように構成されたアンカー表面を有するラスプガイドとを含む、整形外科用器具アセンブリ。
(12) 前記振動外科用ラスプの前記切削頭部が、前記振動外科用ラスプの長手方向軸から前方に延びる深さ停止部を更に含み、
前記ラスプガイドの前記ガイド表面が、操作中に前記振動外科用ラスプの前記切削頭部の深さ停止部を案内するように構成された、実施態様11に記載の整形外科用器具アセンブリ。
(13) 前記ラスプガイドの前記アンカー表面が、そこから垂直に延びるアンカーペグを含み、前記アンカーペグが、前記患者の前記関節窩内に形成された穴に受容されるように構成された、実施態様11に記載の整形外科用器具アセンブリ。
(14) 前記ラスプガイドの前記ガイド表面が凹状である、実施態様11に記載の整形外科用器具アセンブリ。
(15) 前記ラスプガイドの前記アンカー表面が、そこから垂直に延びる複数の尖ったアンカーピンを含み、前記アンカーピンが、前記患者の前記関節窩の骨組織内に打ち込まれるように構成された、実施態様11に記載の整形外科用器具アセンブリ。
(16) 前記切削頭部の前記複数の切削歯が、前記患者の前記関節窩と接するように規定の経路に沿って振動する際に前記強化関節窩プロテーゼの後方バットレスの形状と対応する形状に配置された、実施態様11に記載の整形外科用器具アセンブリ。
(17) 前記切削頭部の前記切削表面の曲率半径の長さが、前記強化関節窩構成要素のバットレスの丸い後方内側表面の曲率半径の長さ±5mmである、実施態様11に記載の振動外科用ラスプ。
(18) 前記切削頭部の前記切削表面の曲率半径の長さが、前記強化関節窩構成要素のバットレスの丸い後方内側表面の曲率半径の長さ±3mmである、実施態様11に記載の振動外科用ラスプ。
(19) 前記切削頭部の前記切削表面の曲率半径の長さが、前記強化関節窩構成要素のバットレスの丸い後方内側表面の曲率半径の長さと等しい、実施態様11に記載の振動外科用ラスプ。
(20) 前記ラスプガイドの前記ガイド表面の曲率半径の長さが、前記強化関節窩構成要素のバットレスの丸い後方内側表面の曲率半径の長さ±5mmである、実施態様11に記載の振動外科用ラスプ。
(22) 前記ラスプガイドの前記ガイド表面の曲率半径の長さが、前記強化関節窩構成要素のバットレスの丸い後方内側表面の曲率半径の長さに等しい、実施態様11に記載の振動外科用ラスプ。
Claims (10)
- 強化関節窩プロテーゼの埋め込み前の、患者の関節窩の外科的準備に使用するための振動外科用ラスプであって、前記振動外科用ラスプが、
振動ツールのチャックに固定されるように構成された取り付け頭部と、
前記取り付け頭部に固定された切削頭部であって、前記切削頭部が前記振動外科用ラスプの長手方向軸から後方に延びる切削表面を含み、前記切削表面が、前記患者の前記関節窩と接するように規定の経路に沿って振動する際に前記強化関節窩プロテーゼの形状と対応する形状に配置される、複数の切削歯を有する、切削頭部とを含む、振動外科用ラスプ。 - 前記切削頭部が、前記振動外科用ラスプの長手方向軸から前方に延びる深さ停止部を更に含む、請求項1に記載の振動外科用ラスプ。
- 想像線が前記振動外科用ラスプの長手方向軸から、前記複数の切削歯のそれぞれの外側表面に沿って後方に延び、
前記想像線が前記振動外科用ラスプの長手方向軸と交差して、その間の交差角を画定し、
前記交差角が30°〜90°である、請求項1に記載の振動外科用ラスプ。 - 前記交差角がおよそ75°である、請求項3に記載の振動外科用ラスプ。

前記上位切削歯の後方端部が、前記下位切削歯の後方端部から前記第1距離よりも短い第2距離だけ離間している、請求項1に記載の振動外科用ラスプ。 - 前記切削頭部の前記複数の切削歯が、複数の上位切削歯及び前記複数の上位切削歯に対して下位に位置付けられる複数の下位切削歯を含み、
前記複数の上位切削歯が互いに平行であるように配置され、かつ前記複数の下位切削歯が互いに平行であるように配置され、
前記複数の上位切削歯及び前記複数の下位切削歯が、互いに対して角度を成して前記外科用ラスプの長手方向軸から後方に延び、互いに対して集束する、請求項1に記載の振動外科用ラスプ。 - 前記切削頭部の前記複数の切削歯が、前記患者の前記関節窩と接するように規定の経路に沿って振動する際に前記強化関節窩プロテーゼの後方バットレスの形状と対応する形状に配置される、請求項1に記載の振動外科用ラスプ。
- 前記切削頭部の前記切削表面の曲率半径の長さが、前記強化関節窩構成要素のバットレスの丸い後方内側表面の曲率半径の長さ±5mmである、請求項1に記載の振動外科用ラスプ。
- 前記切削頭部の前記切削表面の曲率半径の長さが、前記強化関節窩構成要素のバットレスの丸い後方内側表面の曲率半径の長さ±3mmである、請求項1に記載の振動外科用ラスプ。
- 前記切削頭部の前記切削表面の曲率半径の長さが、前記強化関節窩構成要素のバットレスの丸い後方内側表面の曲率半径の長さと等しい、請求項1に記載の振動外科用ラスプ。
