Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a composite sensor having a spatial sensing function for detecting a human body in a detection space and an image sensing function for detecting a human body from an image obtained by photographing a monitoring space including the detection space.
Conventionally, as a type of sensor for monitoring an intruder into a monitoring space, a composite sensor using an image sensor using a camera that captures the monitoring space and a passive infrared ray (PIR) sensor is known. (Patent Document 1). The composite sensor can detect an abnormality with high accuracy by detecting two persons with respect to a common detection range by two sensors having different detection principles and integrally determining the detection results.
On the other hand, the detection range of the two sensors may be different in the composite sensor. For example, since the angle of view of the camera is likely to be larger than the viewing angle of the PIR sensor, considering the efficiency when checking the situation with the camera image when the PIR sensor detects an intruder, the angle of view of the camera is It is preferable to set it wider than the viewing angle of the PIR sensor. In addition, when it is desired to monitor a part of the monitoring space with priority, only the part is set as the detection range of the PIR sensor, and the other part may be monitored only by the image sensor. Furthermore, when an object that causes a false alarm of the PIR sensor, such as an object whose temperature changes sharply in the natural environment, is present in the background, it is necessary to exclude that part from the detection range of the PIR sensor. Therefore, it is necessary to make the viewing angle of the PIR sensor narrower than the angle of view of the camera.
When the detection range of the PIR sensor is set as a part of the shooting range of the camera in this way, in order for the composite sensor to make an abnormality determination, the range of the detection area of the PIR sensor with respect to the image shot by the camera is grasped. I have to keep it. However, since the relationship between the angle of view of the camera and the viewing angle of the PIR sensor can change depending on the situation of the installation location of the apparatus, it is necessary to set the position of the detection area on the image each time according to the installation location. . As a method for easily performing this setting work, there is a method using a walk test (Patent Document 2). In the walk test, for example, the setting worker walks around the monitoring space, and the position of the human image on the image is recorded when the PIR sensor detects the human body and issues a report. A set of positions of recorded human images is specified as a detection area on the image.
In general, a PIR sensor for human body detection is configured using a pyroelectric element. In the pyroelectric PIR sensor, a detection area constituted by one or a plurality of detection zones is set, and changes in thermal energy in each detection zone are detected. In order to detect a change in thermal energy, a certain amount of time is required for the movement of the human body. Therefore, in principle, the position in the detection area where the human body passed and the position in the detection area where the human body actually existed (detection There may be a deviation from the zone. In addition, since the PIR sensor does not continuously report the movement of the human body, the position (trajectory) of the moving human body cannot be comprehensively recorded.
Therefore, with the technique described in
The present invention has been made to solve the above-described problems, and the setting operator can set the position of the detection area on the image corresponding to the detection space of the space sensor with high accuracy, and the intruder can be monitored appropriately. The object is to provide a viable hybrid sensor.
In order to achieve the above object, the composite sensor of the present invention has a function of detecting a human body from an image obtained by photographing a monitoring space and a human body according to a detection signal obtained from a detection space set as a part of the monitoring space. An image display unit that displays an image obtained by photographing the monitoring space, and determines the presence or absence of an intruder in the monitoring space based on the detection results of these human body detection functions, A level display unit that displays a detection level of a human body according to a detection signal obtained from the detection space, an operation unit that is operated by a setter and designates a predetermined range on an image displayed on the image display unit, An area specifying unit that specifies a specified range by the operation unit as a composite detection area corresponding to the detection space on the image, and a human image extracted from the image includes the composite detection area and other regions. An abnormality determination unit to perform different abnormality determination process according to either present in either a single detection area is characterized by having a. Here, the function of detecting a human body from an image indicates a so-called image sensor function, and the function of detecting a human body according to a detection signal obtained from the detection space indicates a so-called spatial sensor function.
According to this configuration, the area setting operator can visually recognize the position of the human image on the image and the detection level corresponding to the position, and can easily and accurately set the position of the composite detection area on the image. As a result, intruder monitoring can be appropriately performed in accordance with the area where the moving object exists.
In the above configuration, the area setting unit controls display of the detection level according to the movement of the human image extracted from the acquired image. In particular, the area setting unit displays a past detection level when the human image is moving when the human image is stopped. For example, when the human image is stopped, the previously detected detection level is maintained. The term “stop” as used herein includes not only the case where there is no movement of the human image but also the case where there is a movement that is so small that a detection level above a certain level cannot be obtained.
According to such a configuration, the detection level is displayed low despite the presence of the human body, thereby preventing the setting operator from misidentifying that the place where the human body is outside the detection area of the space sensor. be able to.
In the above configuration, the area setting unit calculates a moving speed according to the movement of the human image extracted from the acquired image, and determines the position of the human image on the image displayed on the image display unit according to the moving speed. to correct.
According to such a configuration, even when the moving speed of the setting worker for the test walk is large and the human body detection unit detects the human body and the position of the human image on the image is shifted, the detection timing is Since the position of the combined human image is displayed, the composite detection area can be set with higher accuracy.
According to the present invention, in a composite sensor including an image sensor and a space sensor, the position on the image of the composite monitoring area where the detection area of the image sensor and the detection area of the space sensor overlap can be suitably specified, and an appropriate Abnormality determination can be performed.
Hereinafter, a composite sensor according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 is a block diagram showing a schematic configuration of a security system configured using a composite sensor. This security system includes a
One or a plurality of the
The
The

The configuration of the
The
The
The
FIG. 2 is a schematic diagram illustrating an example of the positional relationship between the imaging range by the
The
The monitoring processing unit 14 is configured using a microprocessor or the like, and performs processing on a monitoring image captured by the
The storage unit 16 stores various programs executed by the monitoring processing unit 14 and data necessary for the programs. In particular, the storage unit 16 stores the position information of the detection area on the image registered by the area setting unit 32. The position information of the detection area is stored as coordinate data so that, for example, a range corresponding to the detection area of the PIR sensor of the
The

Next, processing in the alert mode by the monitoring processing unit 14 will be described.
FIG. 3 is a flowchart showing processing in the alert mode. In the alert mode, the monitoring processing unit 14 performs processing as an abnormality determination unit that determines the presence or absence of an intruder in the monitoring space based on the detection result of the image sensor or the space sensor. When an image is input from the
When an image change is detected (Yes in S300), an evaluation value E indicating the probability that the change area is a person is calculated (S302). The evaluation value E is calculated based on the area, width, height, etc. of the change region, for example. Further, other information such as a movement locus and a movement speed may be used.
The monitoring processing unit 14 assumes that the change area extracted in S300 is a human image, refers to the position information of the detection area registered in the storage unit 16, and the position of the human image in the image is the detection area of the PIR sensor. It is determined whether the area is within the area or the other area (S304). In the present embodiment, the entire area of the image captured by the
The monitoring processing unit 14 performs different abnormality determination processing depending on whether the human image extracted from the image exists in the composite detection area or the single detection area. When the position of the human image is a detection area of the PIR sensor, that is, a composite detection area, based on the detection level (P value) of the PIR sensor input from the
If the monitoring processing unit 14 determines that the position of the human image is a single detection area where the image sensor alone is detected in the process of S304, the monitoring processing unit 14 performs abnormality determination based only on the E value (S312). Specifically, if the E value is equal to or greater than the reference value E2 (Yes in S312), it is determined that the intrusion is abnormal (314).
If no intrusion abnormality is detected (No in any of S308, S310, and S312), the process returns to S300, and the monitoring process for the next input image is continued.
If the monitoring processing unit 14 determines that an intrusion abnormality has occurred, an image (abnormal image) of a predetermined period before and after the abnormality detection timing is transmitted to the
At this time, the
In the processing described above, the reference values E0, E1, and E2 related to the evaluation value E are set so that, for example, E0 <E2 <E1. In the configuration of the present embodiment in which the detection result by the image sensor and the space sensor is integrally determined to determine intrusion abnormality, when the space sensor detects a human body in the combined detection area (Yes in S306), the image sensor Even if the evaluation value (E value) is low, it is appropriate to determine that there is an intrusion abnormality. Conversely, if the space sensor does not detect a human body in spite of the combined detection area (No in S306), the intrusion abnormality Is determined to require a higher evaluation value E of the image sensor than when the spatial sensor detects a human body. Therefore, in the present embodiment, E0 and E1 among the three reference values are set to have a relationship of E0 <E1.
Further, when the human image is in the single detection area, the space sensor cannot be used for intrusion abnormality determination, and abnormality determination is performed using only the evaluation value E of the image sensor as described above. The reference value E2 in this case is higher than the reference value E0 in the case where the space sensor affirms the existence of the human body from the viewpoint that the space sensor does not affirm or deny the existence of the human body. It can be expected that misreporting / missing information is suitably suppressed when the value is set lower than the reference value E1 when the presence of the human body is denied. Therefore, in the present embodiment, the reference value E2 is set to an intermediate value between E0 and E1.
As described above, by making the abnormality determination logic different between the composite detection area and the single detection area, it is possible to realize high-precision intruder monitoring in which false / missing reports are suppressed. However, the abnormality determination logic is not limited to the above-described configuration, and can be variously configured according to the monitoring application and purpose.
One example is a configuration that monitors intrusion only in the combined detection area. In this case, the image sensor is configured not to perform a process for detecting a human image outside the combined detection area, or configured to perform no subsequent process even if a human image is detected outside the combined detection area (return to S300 by omitting S312). It becomes. That is, the image of the area other than the composite detection area is basically used for confirmation by the
Another example is a configuration in the case where the composite detection area is subjected to priority monitoring compared to the single detection area by the image sensor. That is, priority is given to suppression of misreporting in the composite detection area, and the reference values E0 and E1 are set smaller than the reference value E2.
Yet another example is a configuration in which the image sensor and the spatial sensor share human detection in the composite detection area and the single detection area. In this case, S308 and S310 described above are omitted, and intrusion abnormality is determined based only on the detection level (P value) by the spatial sensor in the combined detection area. On the other hand, in the single detection area, an intrusion abnormality is determined based only on the evaluation value (E value) obtained by the image sensor.
Next, processing in the registration mode by the monitoring processing unit 14 will be described. In the registration mode, the monitoring processing unit 14 sets a composite detection area and a single detection area that are used in the monitoring process in the above-described alert mode.
FIG. 4 is a flowchart showing processing in the registration mode. FIG. 5 is a schematic diagram showing an example of display contents of the
Hereinafter, display processing on the
When the human image is extracted (Yes in S400), the monitoring processing unit 14 determines whether the human image is moving or stopped (S402). For example, when the position of the human image in the past several frames of the image substantially matches the position, it is determined that the vehicle is stopped, and when the position is different, it is determined that the image is moving.
When it is determined that the human image is moving (No in S402), the monitoring processing unit 14 subsequently performs correction processing of the human image position on the image (S404 to S406).
This correction process is performed in order to absorb the positional deviation caused by the moving speed of the setting operator who performs the walk test. The position of the human image on the image obtained by the walk test and the detection data of the
The monitoring processor 14 corrects the position of the human image extracted from the image by a distance proportional to the moving speed in the direction opposite to the estimated moving direction, and calculates the corrected position of the human image in the image (S404). Then, a composite image in which a corrected human image representing a human body is superimposed on the calculated correction position on the image is generated (S406). The corrected human image may be cut out and pasted from the original human image, or may be synthesized by clearly indicating that it is a corrected human image separately from the original human image. Further, it is also possible to display only a marker indicating that the actual position of the human body. If the moving speed is low, position correction may not be performed.
Subsequently, the monitoring processing unit 14 displays the created corrected image on the image display unit 40 (S410), and displays the detection level of the PIR sensor input from the
In this way, the human body actually exists when the
When it is determined that the human image extracted from the image is stopped in the determination process of S402 (Yes in S402), the monitoring processing unit 14 discards the detection level input from the
Subsequently, the monitoring processing unit 14 displays the captured image on the image display unit 40 (S410), and continuously displays the detection level of the PIR sensor displayed last time on the level display unit 42 (S412).
In this way, depending on the presence or absence of movement of the human body in the image, instead of the detection level at the time of shooting, the past detection level where the human body has moved is displayed in a level corresponding to the display image, so that the human body is actually captured. However, the detection level is inappropriately under-displayed (for example, the detection level “0”), and the setting operator misidentifies that the place where the human body is now is outside the detection range of the
In the above embodiment, the
In the above embodiment, the process of correcting the position of the human image on the image according to the moving speed and moving direction of the human body performing the walk test has been described. However, the present process may be omitted. In this case, the correction processing of S404 to S406 is omitted in the processing in the registration mode of FIG. 4, and if it is determined that the movement is in S402, the process proceeds to S410. When this process is omitted, it is preferable to prevent the human image position from deviating from the human body detection timing, for example, by determining a rule to reduce the walking speed in the walk test.
In the above embodiment, the process of correcting the detection level according to whether or not the human body performing the walk test is moving has been described, but the present process may be omitted. In addition, the present invention is not limited to the configuration and processing of the above embodiment, and various modifications can be made in accordance with the embodiment implemented within the scope of the present invention.
