Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a writing instrument having a collector in an ink tank.
The collectors provided in conventional writing instruments require wettability in function and require dimensional stability, so they are often made of ABS resin, and etching treatment is performed in the product state after molding to obtain more sufficient functions. A process for enhancing the wettability by the formation of the uneven surface by the plasma treatment and the plasma treatment is performed.
ABS is a resin material that has a low water vapor barrier property and, when used as a sealing member, tends to cause volatilization of ink during long-term storage. As a countermeasure, a collector (ink reservoir) is disposed at the tip of the ink tank formed of PP (polypropylene), which is a resin material having excellent water vapor barrier properties. At the tip, a joint formed of a material having excellent water vapor barrier properties that holds the pen tip is arranged so that it can be sealed with the ink tank, and sealing with the cap is performed by this joint. Measures are taken to prevent ink volatilization from the collector (see Patent Document 1: Structure of JP-A-2004-42292).
In the collector having a structure in which the writing part (chip) is directly held, since no joint is provided at the tip part, it is necessary to prevent ink volatilization by sealing the cap and the ink tank (Patent Document 2: Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 2-599942). Gazette, patent document 3: see Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 2-58979). In this case, since the outer diameter portion of the ink tank becomes the seal portion, the volume change during sealing is large, and the pressure inside the ink tank increases. This pressure increase causes ink to be pushed out into the collector when the cap is turned off. By repeating this operation, a so-called pumping phenomenon occurs in which ink is finally ejected from the air replacement hole at the tip of the collector or the pen tip. .
As a countermeasure, a structure is known in which the cap has a double structure and the inner cap is movable so that the volume after sealing is not changed and the internal pressure is not changed (Patent Document 4: Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2002-205490). See the official gazette). However, this structure cannot avoid an increase in cost due to an increase in the number of parts and assembly costs, and it is difficult to adopt at present when a writing instrument that can be produced at low cost and can be provided at a low price is required. In addition, this method has a drawback in that the effect of suppressing volatilization is low by a normal fitting method because the working inner cap is sealed against the joint by a spring or the like.
In view of such circumstances, the present invention secures a water vapor barrier property with a collector that directly holds a writing portion without requiring parts such as a joint, and reduces the seal portion diameter by sealing with a collector and a cap. A writing instrument is provided that can increase the pressure in the ink tank at the time of capping within a range in which no pumping phenomenon occurs.
The present invention includes an ink tank for storing low-viscosity ink in a liquid state therein, an ink guiding section capable of sending ink between the ink tank and the writing section, and a main body so as to cover the writing section when not in use. And a cap that fits into the
A collector in which the ink guiding part is inserted in the length direction and provided between the ink tank and the tip writing part, and the capillary force is utilized via the gas-liquid exchange part when adjusting the pressure in the ink tank. In a writing instrument in which a collector, which is an adjusting body for storing ink in a reservoir, is integrally formed, and the writing unit is held at the tip of the collector,
The writing instrument is characterized in that a seal portion with a cap is provided at the tip of the collector, and an air replacement hole leading to the ink tank is provided inside the seal portion.
In the present invention, the tip of the collector has a substantially double tubular shape with a gap between the inner cylindrical portion and the outer cylindrical portion, and the gap is an air replacement hole, and the inner cylindrical portion Inserts and holds the writing part in its tip, and supplies ink from the ink guiding part to the writing part,
It is preferable that a seal portion is formed on the outer surface of the distal end of the outer cylindrical portion.
In the present invention, the air replacement hole formed in the front end portion of the collector is formed in a passage along the axial direction in which the front end opens toward the writing portion and the rear end opens toward the storage portion. It is suitable.
In the present invention, the collector is an integral structure having a generally tubular structure so that the internal hollow continues from the front end to the center and further to the rear end, and the collector is in the continuous internal hollow. The ink guide is inserted,
The collector with the ink guide portion inserted is fitted to the front part of the shaft cylinder that constitutes the outer periphery of the writing instrument, and the rear part of the shaft cylinder is fitted with ink inside the collector. Forming an ink tank to contain,
The front end of the ink guiding part is close to the rear part of the writing part and the rear end of the ink guiding part is located in the ink tank so that the ink in the ink tank is supplied to the writing part through the ink guiding part. ,
A storage part with a slit is formed on the outer periphery of the collector, and a gas-liquid exchange part is formed at the rear end of the collector so as to face the inside of the ink tank. When adjusting the pressure in the ink tank, the gas-liquid exchange part passes through the slit. It is preferable that the ink can be stored using the capillary force.
In the present invention, it is preferable that the collector is made of a resin having an excellent water vapor barrier property.
According to the writing instrument of the present invention, the ink guiding portion is inserted in the length direction, and the collector is provided between the ink tank and the tip writing portion, and the gas-liquid exchanging portion is adjusted when adjusting the pressure in the ink tank. In a writing instrument in which a collector, which is an adjusting body for storing ink in a reservoir using the capillary force via, is integrally formed, and the writing unit is held at the tip of the collector, Since the seal part with the cap is provided and the air replacement hole leading to the ink tank is provided inside the seal part, the diameter of the seal part is made smaller compared to the case where the seal part is provided on the outer periphery of other parts such as a shaft cylinder. And the tightness of the seal portion can be ensured.
In addition, since the outer diameter of the seal part is small, the pressure change in the ink tank at the time of cap is also minute, and the pumping phenomenon is difficult to occur, so the cap is made in a double structure, the inner cap is movable, and the ink tank Since a method for suppressing changes in internal pressure is not employed, it is possible to reduce costs by reducing the number of parts. Further, since the sealing method is performed by fitting the seal portion at the tip of the collector and the cap, the ink volatilization suppressing effect is increased.
In the present invention, the tip of the collector has a substantially double tubular shape with a gap between the inner cylindrical portion and the outer cylindrical portion, and the gap is an air replacement hole, and the inner cylindrical portion Inserts and holds the writing part in the tip, supplies ink from the ink guiding part to the writing part, and forms a seal part on the outer surface of the tip of the outer cylindrical part, thereby It is possible to prevent the ink guiding portion from being airtight and prevent drying, and when the cap is closed, the air in the cap does not flow, and the pumping action due to the increase in pressure in the ink tank can be reliably prevented.
In the present invention, the air replacement hole formed in the front end portion of the collector is formed in a passage along the axial direction in which the front end opens toward the writing portion and the rear end opens toward the storage portion. Thus, in the integrally molded collector, the mold for the air replacement hole can be easily removed at the time of injection molding, and molding is easy.
In the present invention, the collector is an integral structure having a generally tubular structure such that the internal hollow continues from the front end portion to the central portion and further to the rear end portion, and the collector is in the continuous internal hollow portion. An ink guiding part is inserted, the leading end of the ink guiding part is close to the rear part of the writing part, and the rear end of the ink guiding part is located in the ink tank, and the ink in the ink tank is written via the ink guiding part. By being configured to be supplied to the part, the hollow interior can be configured linearly, the structure can be simplified and the molding can be facilitated, and the ink guide part can reliably supply the ink in the ink tank to the writing part. Can be supplied to.
In the present invention, the collector is made of a resin having excellent water vapor barrier properties (polypropylene (: PP), polybutylene terephthalate (: PBT)) to improve volatilization prevention, and the collector and the cap can be directly sealed. Ink volatilization can be prevented.

As shown in FIG. 2, the
The

In FIG. 1 and FIG. 2,
As shown in FIGS. 3 to 5, the

The material of the collector is preferably a resin excellent in water vapor barrier properties (for example, polypropylene (: PP), polybutylene terephthalate (: PBT)).
