前記ソケットのソケットハウジングと前記プラグのプラグハウジングとのうち、いずれか一方のハウジングは嵌合方向に向けて突出したアーム状のロック部を有し、
前記ロック部は嵌合方向に対して直交する内外方向に弾性変形可能で、且つ、外側方向に突出したロック爪を有し、
他方のハウジングは当該ハウジングの内側に前記ロック爪の挿入孔と当該挿入孔に挿入されたロック爪が外側方向に弾性復帰することで係止する被係止部を有し、
前記スイッチ部は前記他方のハウジングの内側に有するとともに、固定片と弾性を有する可動片とからなり、前記ロック爪が前記被係止部に係止する際に可動片を外側方向に押圧し、スイッチのON/OFFが切り替わることを特徴とする嵌合検知型コネクタ。
