Description

The present invention relates to a connector provided with a connecting member for connecting between an electric wire and a connection object, and an illumination device using the connector.

2. Description of the Related Art In recent years, development of lighting devices using illumination lamps (hereinafter referred to as “LED bulbs”) including light emitting diodes (hereinafter referred to as “LEDs”) as light emitting elements has been progressing. An LED bulb generally includes a circuit board on which an LED is mounted. In order to supply power to the circuit board, a connector of a type in which an electric wire is inserted and connected is used. The connector is generally fixed by screwing to a housing for fixing and holding the circuit board. However, the work of fixing the connector to the housing by screwing makes it difficult to manage the man-hours required for screwing and the torque of the screw tightening, which poses a problem in assembling of the lighting device.

Patent Document 1 or Patent Document 2 discloses a wire connection terminal configured to process a conductive member to form a pair of spring-like plate portions and to insert an electric wire between these plate portions. Yes. In the wire connection terminal, one of the pair of plate portions is formed with a wire holding portion, and the other is formed with a flat contact portion for receiving the wire. A separate member is used to remove the electric wire from the electric wire connection terminal. That is, by operating a separate member, the plate portion of the wire connection terminal is deformed to facilitate removal of the wire.

Utility model registration No. 3069754

However, since the electric wire connection terminal disclosed in Patent Document 1 or Patent Document 2 has a configuration in which the electric wire is removed using a separate member, there is a problem that the number of parts increases. However, if the electric wire can be easily pulled out without using a separate member, the electric wire cannot be sufficiently retained.

Therefore, the subject of this invention is providing the connector which can increase the holding force of an electric wire easily and can reduce a number of parts.

The other subject of this invention is providing the illuminating device using the said connector.

According to one aspect of the present invention, in the connector provided with the connection member that connects between the electric wire and the connection object, the connection member is formed on the side of the main body portion formed in a rectangular tube shape. An insertion portion for inserting the electric wire, a spring portion having a contact portion arranged on the other side of the main body portion and connected to the electric wire, and a terminal portion connected to the connection object. The spring portion is composed of a first spring portion and a second spring portion arranged to face each other, and at least one contact portion of the first spring portion and the second spring portion is formed in an edge shape. A connector characterized by being formed is obtained.

According to another aspect of the present invention, the connector includes an electrical wire connected to the connector, an LED, and a circuit board on which the LED is mounted. The connector is mounted on one surface of the circuit board. Thus, an illumination device can be obtained.

The connector according to one embodiment of the present invention can easily increase the holding force of the electric wire and can reduce the number of components.

The lighting device according to another aspect of the present invention is easy to assemble because the connector is mounted on one surface of the LED mounting substrate.

First, with reference to FIG.1 and FIG.2, the whole structure of the illuminating device which concerns on one Embodiment of this invention is demonstrated.

The lighting device 20 in FIGS. 1 and 2 is a light bulb type lamp, and a substantially disc-shaped heat transfer member 22 is fixed to one end, that is, the upper end side of a cylindrical heat dissipation member 21 with a screw or the like. The heat dissipating member 21 is a die-cast product mainly made of a metal having excellent heat conductivity such as aluminum, and a large number of heat dissipating fins may be formed on the outer peripheral surface. Each of the heat transfer members 22 is made of a metal having excellent heat transfer properties such as aluminum.

A substantially square circuit board 23 is fixed to the upper surface of the heat transfer member 22 by a plurality of screws 24. On the first main surface, that is, the upper surface of the circuit board 23, one or a plurality of LEDs 25 are mounted in a central portion thereof. The second main surface, that is, the lower surface facing the first main surface of the circuit board 23 in the vertical direction is substantially in close contact with the upper surface of the heat transfer member 22.

A dome-shaped cover 26 is also attached to the upper surface of the heat transfer member 22 so as to cover the circuit board 23 and the LED 25 with a space therebetween. The cover 26 is made of glass or transparent / translucent resin.

Two connectors 27 having the same configuration are mounted on the upper surface of the circuit board 23. These connectors 27 are electrically connected to the LEDs 25 via circuit conductors (not shown) provided on the upper surface of the circuit board 23. Two power supply wires 28 for supplying power to the LED 25 are drawn out from the two connectors 27, respectively, and extend inside the cylindrical heat radiating member 21. Here, it is assumed that each power supply wire 28 has a single rod-shaped core wire.

A component fixing member 29 is provided at the other end, that is, the lower end side of the heat radiating member 21. The upper part of the component fixing member 29 is fitted and fixed inside the lower part of the heat radiating member 21. The lower part of the component fixing member 29 is exposed to the outside from the heat radiating member 21, and a base part 31 is attached thereto. The two power supply wires 28 described above are electrically connected to the base 31 through various components inside the heat dissipation member 21. Thus, the LED 25 can be supplied with power through the base portion 31, the two power supply wires 28, the two connectors 27, and the circuit board 23.

The connector 27 will be described with reference to FIGS. 3A to 3C together with FIG.

The connector 27 includes a conductive connection member 32 that connects the electric wire, that is, the power supply wire 28, and the connection object, that is, the circuit board 23, and an insulating housing 33 that accommodates and holds the connection member 32. Yes.

The housing 33 has a flat suction surface 34 formed on the upper surface, and an electric wire insertion portion 36 formed on the front surface 35. The lower surface 37 of the housing 33 is opened, and a part of the connection member 32 is exposed here. The back surface 38 of the housing 33 is open here, but may be closed. The suction surface 34 is a portion suitable for sucking and holding the connector 27 by the suction tool of the automatic mounting apparatus. The wire insertion portion 36 has a function of guiding insertion of the power supply wire 28.

The connection member 32 will be described with reference to FIGS. 4A and 4B together with FIGS.

The connection member 32 is formed by cutting, bending, and tin-plating a metal plate. The connection member 32 is formed on a side of the main body 41 formed in a square tube shape such as a square tube shape. The insertion portion 42, the first spring portion 43 and the second spring portion 44 formed on the other side of the main body portion 41, and the first terminal portion 45 and the second terminal formed on both ends of the connection member 32, respectively. A portion 46 and an upper surface plate portion 48 having a fixing portion 47 for fixing to the housing 33 are integrally provided.

The insertion portion 42 is a portion that is disposed to face the wire insertion portion 36 of the housing 33 and into which the power supply wire 28 is inserted. The wobbling of the power feeding wire 28 inserted into the rectangular tube-shaped main body 41 through the insertion portion 42 is suppressed.

The first spring portion 43 and the second spring portion 44 are arranged to face each other, and are provided with contact portions 43 a and 44 a for contacting the power supply wire 28 on the facing surfaces, respectively. It is assumed that the first spring portion 43 has a relatively large rigidity, and the second spring portion 44 has a relatively small rigidity. Furthermore, the tip of the contact portion in at least one of the first spring portion 43 and the second spring portion 44 is formed in an edge shape. Here, the tip of the contact portion 44a of the second spring portion 44 is formed in an edge shape. The shape shown in the figure is an acute angle, but it may be a right angle, as long as the edge is formed.

The first terminal portion 45 and the second terminal portion 46 are portions exposed on the lower surface 37 of the housing 33 and soldered to the electric circuit of the circuit board 23. The first terminal portion 45 close to the insertion portion 42 has a shape folded back below the main body portion 41 so as not to obstruct the insertion of the power supply wire 28 into the insertion portion 42, and is extra when soldering. One or a plurality of cutouts 45a are provided for releasing the solder material. The second terminal portion 46 far away from the insertion portion 42 is divided into two forks so that the two connection portions 46 a and 46 b can be soldered to the circuit board 23.

With reference to FIG. 5A-FIG. 5C, the relationship between the connector 27 and the electric wire 28 for electric power feeding is demonstrated.

FIG. 5A shows a state before the power supply wire 28 is attached to the connector 27. In order to attach the power supply wire 28 to the connector 27, the single wire portion 28 a made of the conductor of the power supply wire 28 is inserted into the wire insertion portion 36 of the connector 27. The insertion direction of the electric power feeding wire 28 at this time is a direction substantially parallel to one surface of the circuit board 23 which is a connection object.

FIG. 5B shows a state after the power supply wire 28 is attached to the connector 27. When in the state of FIG. 5B, as shown in FIG. 5C, the single wire portion 28a of the power supply wire 28 is interposed between the first spring portion 43 and the second spring portion 44 of the connecting member 32, and mainly the second spring. The portion 44 is elastically bent outward. As a result, the contact portions 43 a and 44 a are pressed against the peripheral surface of the single wire portion 28 a mainly by the elastic restoring force of the second spring portion 44. In this state, since the tip end portion of the contact portion 44a is formed in an edge shape, the single wire portion 28a is firmly held and prevented from coming off. Thus, the holding force of the power supply wire 28 is increased. In place of the single wire portion 28a, a stranded wire with solder coating may be used.

As described above, the power supply wire 28 can be reliably connected to the connector 27 by a simple operation. Therefore, the connector 27 can be mounted on the circuit board 23 simultaneously with the LED 25, and the connection between the connector 27 and the circuit board 23 can be easily performed by soldering.

Next, a connector 27 ′, which is a modification of the connector 27 described above, will be described with reference to FIGS. 6A to 6C together with FIG.

This connector 27 'is the same as the connection member 32 in the connector 27 described with reference to FIGS. 2 to 5C, and is made of metal. In other words, the connector 27 ′ is obtained by removing the housing 33 from the connector 27 described with reference to FIGS. Accordingly, portions having the same function as the connecting member 32 of the connector 27 'are denoted by the same reference numerals, and the description thereof is omitted. Only portions having different functions will be described.

The metal connector 27 ′ has a flat suction surface 49 formed on the upper surface of the upper surface plate portion 48. The suction surface 49 is also suitable for sucking and holding the connector 27 'by the suction tool of the automatic mounting apparatus. In this way, the suction surface 49 may be formed directly on the metal connector 27 '.

With reference to FIG. 7A-FIG. 7C, the relationship between the circuit board 23, connector 27 ', and the electric wire 28 for electric power feeding is demonstrated.

FIG. 7A shows a state before the power supply wire 28 is attached to the connector 27 ′ mounted on the circuit board 23. The upper surface of the circuit board 23 is covered with an insulating film 51. A connector 27 ′ is connected to the electric circuit 52 exposed by partially removing the insulating film 51 by soldering. In order to attach the power supply wire 28 to the connector 27 ', the single wire portion 28a made of the conductor of the power supply wire 28 is inserted into the insertion portion 42 (see FIG. 6A) of the connector 27'. The insertion direction of the electric power feeding wire 28 at this time is a direction substantially parallel to one surface of the circuit board 23 which is a connection object.

FIGS. 7B and 7C show a state after the power supply wire 28 is attached to the connector 27 ′. The relationship between the power supply wire 28 and the connector 27 'in the state shown in FIGS. 7B and 7C is the same as that of the connector 27 described above, and will be described with reference to FIG. 5C again.

In FIG. 5C, the single wire portion 28a of the power supply wire 28 is interposed between the first spring portion 43 and the second spring portion 44 of the connecting member 32, and mainly the second spring portion 44 is elastically bent outward. Not.

As described above, the power feeding wire 28 can be reliably connected to the connector 27 'by a simple operation. Therefore, the connector 27 ′ can be mounted on the circuit board 23 simultaneously with the LED 25, and the connection between the connector 27 ′ and the circuit board 23 can be easily performed by soldering.
