Description

The present invention relates to a tire that can be a pneumatic tire and a solid tire provided with a decorative portion formed by coloring treatment on the surface of a side portion, and in particular, a portion provided with a decorative portion and its background The present invention proposes a technique capable of enhancing the aesthetics by making the disorder of coloring at the boundary between the portions less noticeable.

。   Usually, company name, brand name, tire size, production time, and other information on the side part surface including the outer surface of each of the side wall part and the bead part are composed of symbols, patterns including characters, figures, barcodes, etc. It is generally displayed by a mark, and such a mark on the surface of the tire side part is generally formed by an uneven surface such as a raised part, a recessed part, or a ridge (for example, Patent Document 1). reference.).

By the way, only by forming the mark by the uneven surface of the side surface of the tire, there is a problem that the contrast between the mark and the background with respect to the mark is small, and the visibility of the mark is low. There was room for improvement in aesthetics. Therefore, if a decorative part formed by coloring treatment is provided on the surface of the side part of the tire, the tire can be made conspicuous, and the visibility of the mark can be improved, or the aesthetics of the tire can be improved. There are the following problems.

That is, in applying the decorative part formed by coloring treatment on the surface of the side part of the tire, the use of colored rubber, printing, painting, etc. can be considered, but in any case, the boundary between the decorative part and its background part In this case, coloring irregularities (unevenness) occur, and this may cause consumers to lose their willingness to purchase the consumer who looks at the tires at the store. On the other hand, it is possible to eliminate the disturbance of coloring at the boundary afterwards by buffing or to reduce it by increasing the accuracy of printing or painting, but the cost becomes high.

Therefore, the present invention has an object to solve such problems of the prior art, and the object thereof is a decorative part formed by a coloring process without increasing the cost. It is an object of the present invention to provide a tire that can obscure the color disturbance at the boundary between the front surface and the background portion.

In order to solve the above problems, a tire according to the present invention is a tire provided with at least one decorative part formed by a coloring process on a surface of a side part of the tire, wherein the side part surface has a height difference with respect to the surroundings. An inclined surface is provided to cause the edge, and an edge of the decorative portion is arranged on the inclined surface.

Here, the “decoration part” refers to a part that is colored with a color including white and black, which is different from the ground color of the surface of the side part of the tire. In addition, it can be formed by exposing the so-called colored rubber embedded in the lower layer side of the cover rubber.

In the tire of the present invention, the inclined surface is preferably formed by providing a convex portion on the surface of the side portion, but may be formed by providing a concave portion or a depression on the surface of the side portion. Good.

Furthermore, in the tire according to the present invention, it is preferable that the decorative portion extends along the tire circumferential direction.

Furthermore, in the tire according to the present invention, it is preferable that a mark is arranged adjacent to the decorative portion. Here, the “mark” refers to a character, a symbol, a picture, a figure, a pattern composed of one kind, or a combination of two or more of these.

In this invention, since the edge of the decorative portion is arranged on the inclined surface, the coloring unevenness generated at the edge of the decorative portion is compressed by the inclination of the inclined surface and visually recognized. It is possible to make the coloration of the boundary between the decorative portion and the background portion inconspicuous. Moreover, since such an inclined surface can be shape | molded, for example in a normal vulcanization process, it does not become expensive.

In addition, when the inclined surface is formed by providing a convex portion on the side portion, the side surface portion is bent due to the deflection of the side portion at the time of load rolling compared to the case where the inclined surface is formed by providing a concave portion on the side portion. Since stress is difficult to concentrate, it is possible to suppress the occurrence of cracks and the like on the side surface.

Moreover, when the decoration part is extended along the tire circumferential direction, high decorativeness can be obtained in combination with the annular shape of the tire.

Further, when the mark attached to the tire is positioned adjacent to the decoration part, the visibility of the mark can be improved by the contrast effect between the mark and the decoration part.

It is a side view of the tire of one embodiment according to this invention. It is a fragmentary sectional view which shows a part of cross section which follows the AA line of FIG. (a)〜(e)はそれぞれ、この発明にしたがう他の実施形態のタイヤを、図2と同様の断面で示す部分断面図である。(A)-(e) is a fragmentary sectional view which shows the tire of other embodiment according to this invention in the cross section similar to FIG. 2, respectively.

Embodiments of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings. In addition, the code | symbol 1 in a figure shows the whole pneumatic tire, and the code | symbol 2 shows the tire side part containing a sidewall part and a bead part.

The pneumatic tire 1 according to the embodiment shown in FIG. 1 has at least one tire side portion 2, that is, the posture of the pneumatic tire 1 mounted on the vehicle, and at least the side portion 2 that is exposed to the outside of the vehicle. Marks such as brand name, company name, and tire size are formed on the outer surface.

Further, this tire has a ridge arrangement in which a plurality of ridges 3 extending in a required form in a required direction are arranged in an annular shape concentric with the tire axis on the surface of at least one tire side portion 2. It has a territory 4.

Further, on the inner peripheral side from the ridge disposition area 4, that is, radially inward, radially inward from the tire maximum width position p, for example, adjacent to the ridge disposition area 4 and concentric with the ridge disposition area 4 Thus, a color line 5 as a decorative portion extending intermittently or continuously (continuously in the illustrated example) is provided in an annular shape.

As used herein, “tire maximum width position” refers to the maximum width position between side surface surfaces excluding convex portions such as patterns and letters on the tire side when the tire is a solid tire. When the tire is a tire, the maximum width position between the sidewalls, excluding convex parts such as patterns on the side of the tire and letters, is applied to the tire with the tire mounted on the applicable rim and filled with the specified air pressure. It shall be said. Here, “applicable rim” refers to the rim specified in the following standards according to the tire size, and “specified air pressure” refers to the air pressure specified in accordance with the maximum load capacity in the following standards: The maximum load capacity refers to the maximum mass allowed to be loaded on a tire according to the following standards. The “air” here can be replaced with an inert gas such as nitrogen gas or the like.

のYEAR BOOK”であり、欧州では、“THE European Tyre and Rim Technical OrganisationのSTANDARDS MANUAL”であり、日本では日本自動自動車タイヤ協会の“JATMA YEAR BOOK”である。   The standard is an industrial standard that is valid in the region where tires are produced or used. For example, in the United States, it is “THE TIRE AND RIM ASSOCIATION INC. “STANDARDS MANUAL” of Technical Organization, and “JATMA YEAR BOOK” of Japan Automobile Tire Association in Japan.

The color line 5 can be formed by printing or applying paint, or by exposing a so-called colored rubber embedded in the lower layer side of the cover rubber. In any of these cases, the tire side portion 2 is formed. It has a color including white and black, which is different from the ground color of the surface.

Then, as shown in FIG. 2, the color line 5 is provided on the inclined surfaces 7 a and 8 a that are provided on the surface of the tire side portion 2 and cause an elevation difference with respect to the periphery. The edge 5a and the radially inner edge 5b) are positioned. In the example of FIG. 2, a pair of convex portions 7 and 8 having a triangular cross section extending in an annular shape in the tire circumferential direction is formed on the tire side portion 2, and the inclined surfaces 7 a and 8 a facing these convex portions 7 and 8 are colored. The edges 5a and 5b of the line 5 are located respectively.

In FIG. 2, the region Z where the color line 5 is applied is equal to or higher than the height of the surface (hereinafter referred to as “reference surface”) Sb of the tire side portion 2 around the convex portions 7 and 8. The area Z to which the color line 5 is applied may be entirely or partially lower than the reference surface Sb as shown in FIG. 3A, and according to this, the color line 5 is formed using the same ink or paint. It is also possible to darken the brightness of the entire screen or partially to add a gradation effect. Further, as shown in FIG. 3B, the color lines 5 are formed only on the inclined surfaces 7a and 8a by bringing the convex portions 7 and 8 close to each other and forming a V-shaped groove therebetween. Also good. Further, as shown in FIGS. 3C to 3E, inclined surfaces 11a and 11b facing each other may be formed by providing a recess 11 in the tire side portion 2, and the shape of the recess 11 is as shown in FIG. As shown in (d) and (e), a V-shaped groove or an arc may be used.

According to the pneumatic tire 1 thus configured, since the edges 5a and 5b of the color line 5 are arranged on the inclined surfaces 7a and 8a, printing unevenness and coating unevenness generated on the edges 5a and 5b of the color line 5, respectively. The color disturbance is compressed by an amount corresponding to the inclination of the inclined surfaces 7a and 8a and visually recognized, and the color disturbance at the boundary of the color line 5 can be made inconspicuous. Moreover, since such inclined surfaces 7a and 8a can be shape | molded, for example in a normal vulcanization | cure process, it does not become expensive. Note that the inclination angle θ of the inclined surfaces 7a and 8a with respect to the reference surface Sb is preferably in the range of 45 ° to 85 ° from the viewpoint of the visual effect that makes the disturbance inconspicuous. Furthermore, it is preferable that the inclination angle θ is in the range of 60 ° to 70 ° in order to achieve both the production at the time of coloring, printing unevenness, and visual effects.

Further, according to this pneumatic tire 1, since the color line 5 is formed in an annular shape along the tire circumferential direction, high decorativeness can be obtained in combination with the annular shape of the tire. In this connection, the color line 5 is preferably provided radially inward of the tire maximum width position p on the inner peripheral side of the ridge disposition area 4. It can be positioned radially inward from the position where a large bending deformation of the side portion 2 occurs during movement, and the occurrence of damage such as cracks to the color line 5 can be effectively prevented. It is possible to effectively eliminate the risk of rubbing against curb stones.

Further, in this pneumatic tire 1, the color line 5 is provided adjacent to the inner peripheral side from the ridge disposition area 4, so that the visibility of the mark disposed on the ridge disposition area 4 or on the outer peripheral side thereof is improved. Can be enhanced with the decorativeness of the color line 5.

Moreover, in this pneumatic tire 1, by making the color line 5 conspicuous, it is possible to give the viewer an impression as if the tire size has been increased by a so-called inch.

Further, the color line 5 has at least a region 13 in which the brand name and company name are formed to be relatively large in order to improve visibility, and the outer side in the radial direction from the rim line. Each mark formed on the inner side and outer side in the radial direction of the color line 5 that is formed between the inner side in the radial direction and the regulation display portion 14 in which the tire size and the like are engraved relatively small. Is preferable with the high decorativeness of the color line 5 to enhance the visibility of the mark. Here, “regulation display part” means, for example, that domestic products are required to be marked with notation such as size and structure, and it is necessary to secure a space on the rim line as a space for arranging them. So let's say this space.

While the present invention has been described based on the illustrated embodiment, the present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiment, and can be appropriately changed within the scope of the claims, for example, an inclined surface. The shape of the convex portions 7 and 8 forming 7a and 8a is not limited to a triangular cross section, and may be a trapezoidal shape or an arc shape. Further, the decoration part is not limited to the color line, and may be a character, a figure, or a pattern. In this case, the coloring unevenness at the boundary of the decoration part is made inconspicuous by positioning the edge of the decoration part on the inclined surface. be able to.

Thus, according to the present invention, it has become possible to provide a tire that can make the irregular coloration of the boundary with respect to the background portion of the decorative portion formed by the coloring process inconspicuous without increasing the cost.
