Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a thermometer.
Conventionally, a non-heated thermometer is known as a thermometer that is attached to the body surface of a subject and measures the body temperature in the deep part of the subject (see, for example,
In general, a non-heating type thermometer is disposed so as to face a first temperature sensor that comes into contact with a body surface when the sample is attached to the body surface of a subject, and the first temperature sensor via a heat insulating material. At least two temperature sensor pairs each including a second temperature sensor, and the respective heat insulating materials on which the temperature sensor pairs are arranged have different thicknesses. By using the temperature difference between the temperature sensor and the second temperature sensor, the heat flow from the deep part is obtained and the body temperature of the deep part is calculated.
However, a non-heating type thermometer has a large measurement error, and it is difficult to measure a deep body temperature with high accuracy. For this reason, in practical use, it is considered essential to individually examine factors that affect measurement accuracy and to take measures to eliminate those factors.
The present invention has been made in view of the above problems, and an object of the present invention is to improve measurement accuracy in a non-heated thermometer that is attached to the body surface of a subject and measures the body temperature in the deep part of the subject. .

ADVANTAGE OF THE INVENTION According to this invention, it becomes possible to improve a measurement precision in the non-heating-type thermometer which affixes on the body surface of a subject and measures the body temperature of the deep part of a subject.
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
[First Embodiment]
1. Principle of measuring deep body temperature with a non-heated thermometer First, a non-heated thermometer (a thermometer that is attached to the body surface of a subject and measures the deep body temperature of the subject and does not have a heating function) The measurement principle of deep body temperature in a thermometer) will be briefly described.
FIG. 1 is a diagram showing the heat flow in an unheated thermometer as an electric circuit using an electric circuit similarity method in order to explain the measurement principle of the non-heated thermometer.
As shown in FIG. 1, the heat flow in the non-heated thermometer can be expressed by an
In FIG. 1, Tb is the deep body temperature, Rt is the thermal resistance of the subcutaneous tissue of the subject, Tt1 is the temperature detected by the
Here, if it is assumed that the deep body temperature is constant, the
Of these, assuming that the heat flow in the
Then, when the respective equations are modified, the following equations (3) and (4) are obtained.
Here, the thermal resistance Rt of the subcutaneous tissue varies from individual to individual and from site to site, and is not constant. Therefore, when Rt is calculated to remove Rt from the above equations (3) and (4), the following equation (5) is obtained.
Then, by substituting the above equation (5) into the above equation (4), the following equation (6) is obtained.
Here, since Ra1 and Ra2 are known, the depth body temperature Tb can be uniquely determined by detecting four temperatures (Tt1, Tt2, Ta1, Ta2).
2. Simulation on Measurement Error in Thermometer Next, a simulation of a measurement error in a non-heating type thermometer that measures the deep body temperature based on the above-described measurement principle will be described. In examining the measurement error in the non-heated thermometer, the applicant of the present application pays attention to the shape (diameter and thickness) of the thermometer, and the measurement error when the shape (diameter and thickness) of the thermometer is changed variously. A simulation was performed.
In FIG. 2, polyacetal (POM) having a thermal conductivity of 0.25 [W / mk] is used as the material of the
In FIG. 2, when 201 is the thickness of the
202 is a measured value when the diameter of each of the
Similarly, 203 is the case where the thickness of the
As can be seen from FIG. 2, the measured value approaches the set temperature (that is, the measurement error decreases) as the diameters of the
Therefore, in the non-heating type thermometer, it is presumed that the measurement error decreases as the thickness of the thermal resistor is reduced and the diameter is increased.
3. Examination of simulation results The above simulation results are examined. FIG. 3 is a conceptual diagram showing the cause of the measurement error examined based on the simulation result. In FIG. 3, 301 indicates the deep body temperature of the subject.
Considering the above-described measurement principle of the deep body temperature, all of the heat flow from the
Further, a part of the heat flow incident on the
Here, for the heat flows 312, 322, by reducing the area of the side surfaces of the
On the other hand, although the heat flows 311 and 321 cannot be directly suppressed, the
Further, the heat flow through the
From the above, in the non-heating type thermometer,
-Reduce the thickness of the
-Increase the diameter of the
The entire upper surface of the
-The back surface of the uniformizing
Thus, it is considered that the measurement error can be reduced.
4). Cross-sectional structure of non-heating type thermometer with measures for reducing measurement error Based on the above examination results, the non-heating type thermometer of the present embodiment with measures for reducing measurement errors will be described. FIG. 4 is a diagram showing a cross-sectional configuration of a
In FIG. 4,
Note that the
By having such a shape / arrangement, in the
Further, a uniformizing
As shown in FIG. 4, the
It is assumed that the

As is clear from the above description, in the non-heating type thermometer according to the present embodiment, the influence on the temperature sensor accompanying the dissipation of the heat flow from the body surface around the thermal resistor is suppressed, and the side surface of the thermal resistor By adopting a configuration that suppresses the dissipation of heat flow from the body, it becomes possible to improve the measurement accuracy of the deep body temperature of the non-heating type thermometer.
[Second Embodiment]
In the first embodiment, the
In view of the above, the thickness of the
また、上記第1の実施形態では、熱抵抗体113及び123の材質として、非発泡性の素材であるポリアセタールを用いることとしたが、本発明はこれに限定されず、熱伝導率が同程度の材質であれば、他の材質を用いてもよく、例えば、PC(ポリカーボネート:熱伝導率=0.193W/mK)、PP(ポリプロピレン:熱伝導率=0.117W/mK)、PET(ポリエチレンテレフタレート:熱伝導率=0.152W/mK)、PMMA(ポリメチルメタクリレート:熱伝導率=0.167〜0.251W/mK)、ABS(アクリロニトリル・ブタジエン・スチレン共重合体:熱伝導率=0.193〜0.360W/mK)等が挙げられる。
In the first embodiment, polyacetal, which is a non-foaming material, is used as the material of the
