Abstract
Description
According to the present invention, a fuel cap that is detachably attached to a fuel filler port of a fuel tank is connected to a fuel filler side by a fuel cap restraining cord member so that the fuel cap is not dissipated when the fuel cap is removed. The present invention relates to an advantageous fixing structure.
There is an oil supply cap restraining cord member that restrains the filler pipe and the oil supply cap so as not to leave the oil supply cap (filler cap) removed from the filler pipe of an automobile or the like beyond a certain range (see Patent Document 1).
When an oil filler cap restraining cord member that projects the filler pipe outward and restrains the oil cap is placed on the filler pipe as in an automobile, the filler pipe itself has rigidity, so it is easy to fix the oil cap restraining cord member. can do.
However, some fuel tanks in saddle-ride type vehicles such as motorcycles have a fuel filler opening on one surface and a fuel cap attached to the fuel filler. In the case of a tank, since the filler pipe does not protrude outward from the fuel tank, a structure for fixing the fuel supply cap restraining cord member is required.
The present invention provides an optimum structure for fixing a fuel supply cap restraining cord member in a saddle-ride type vehicle having a fuel tank without a filler pipe.
In order to solve the above problems, a fuel device for a saddle-ride type vehicle according to the present invention detachably closes a body frame, a fuel tank supported by the body frame, and a fuel filler port formed on the upper surface of the fuel tank. A tank cover formed of an elastic material and covering at least a part of the fuel tank;
The tank cover is formed on at least one of the outer edges of the tank cover in a plan view and fixed to the outer edge of the fuel tank;
It is provided on the other side where the tank cover fixing portion of the tank cover is formed in a plan view, and includes a cord fixing portion for fixing one end of the oil supply cap restraining cord member.
According to a second aspect of the present invention, in the first aspect, the oil supply cap restraining cord member is provided with a retaining portion at an end portion on the tank cover side, and the cord fixing portion is formed with respect to a part of the tank cover. A detachable cord fixing portion cover is provided, and the retaining portion is sandwiched between the cord fixing portion cover and a part of the tank cover.
According to a third aspect of the present invention, in the first or second aspect of the present invention, the tank cover is provided with a recess that forms a cap holder for placing the fuel cap removed from the fuel filler port.
According to a fourth aspect of the present invention, in the third aspect of the invention, when the oil filler cap is placed on the cap holder, a part of the oil filler cap is located outside the tank cover in a plan view. And
According to a fifth aspect of the present invention, in the above-mentioned fourth aspect, a rib connecting the tank cover fixing portion and the cord fixing portion is formed on the back side of the tank cover, and the cap holder is formed at an intermediate position of the rib. A recess is formed.
A sixth aspect of the present invention is characterized in that, in any one of the first to fifth aspects, a hose guide for guiding a hose member is integrally formed on the tank cover.
In order to form the fixed part of the tank cover with respect to the fuel tank and the fixed part of the fuel cap restraining cord member with respect to the tank cover, the load applied to the cord fixing part with the fuel cap removed is formed of an elastic material. The tank cover can be dispersed, and the tank cover can be effectively utilized to optimize the strength and rigidity of the fixing portion of the oil cap cap cord member and reduce the weight.
Therefore, weight reduction can be achieved without increasing the number of parts, and a structure for fixing the oil supply cap restraining cord member can be provided.
A cord fixing part cover that is separate from the tank cover is provided in the cord fixing part, and this cord fixing part cover is locked to the tank cover side so that the retaining part of the oil cap cap restraining cord member is clamped. As a result, the assembly is improved. Further, the strength of the cord fixing portion can be optimized by the separate cord fixing portion cover, and one end of the oil supply cap restraining cord member can be reliably fixed.
Since the recess that forms the cap holder for placing the fuel cap on the tank cover is formed, the tank cover can be formed without affecting the tank capacity compared to the case where the fuel cap is placed in the fuel tank, and made of an elastic material. Since it is easy to mold, both convenience and productivity can be achieved.
When the oil filler cap is placed in the cap holder, a part of the oil filler cap protrudes outside the tank cover. For this reason, after ensuring the stability support of the oil cap with the cap holder, it is possible to put the finger on the portion of the oil cap that protrudes from the cap holder and lift it easily from the recess, thereby improving convenience.
Since the fixing portion of the tank cover with respect to the fuel tank and the cord fixing portion are connected by a rib, the rigidity between the fixing portions is ensured even when the cord fixing portion side of the tank cover is a free end. Also, by providing a recess for the cap holder in the middle position of the rib, this recess contributes to increased rigidity like the rib. Therefore, even if the overall length of the rib is shortened, the cord fixing portion is also provided. The rigidity of the free end can be secured.
Since the hose guide is provided by using a part of the tank cover, it is not necessary to provide a separate hose guide, so the number of parts can be reduced and the handling of the hoses can be improved.

As shown in FIG. 9B, the

As shown in FIG. 19, the
As shown in FIG. 20, the tank
Covering the cord fixing

In this way, the
