Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a switch device including a plurality of switches that are turned on by an operation on a knob.
2. Description of the Related Art In recent years, a push button type switch device related to the operation of an in-vehicle device such as an audio device is provided on a cover portion on the surface of a steering wheel of a vehicle so that the driver can operate the audio device while holding the steering wheel. The improvement of the operability is performed (see Patent Document 1). Specifically, for example, in a switch device having a cross knob in which four knobs are arranged in a cross shape, the direction of the up / down / left / right direction is performed from among a plurality of songs displayed on the display by operating the cross knob. The user can select and play a desired song. Further, a rotary knob for adjusting the volume is provided in the vicinity of the switch device, and the volume level displayed on the display can be adjusted by rotating the rotary knob. That is, in order to realize the two operation modes displayed on the display, the cross knob and the rotary knob are required.
However, in order to provide both the cross knob and the rotary knob on the steering wheel, it is necessary to reduce their size, which increases the cost and the operability. In particular, since the rotary knob requires a rotation mechanism, the overall configuration is complicated.
The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and an object thereof is to provide a switch device capable of performing a direction operation and a rotation operation with a simple configuration.
The switch device according to the present invention includes three or more switches arranged concentrically with respect to a center position, a knob for turning on the switch, and a rotation direction after any of the switches is turned on. Rotation operation determination means for determining that the rotation operation condition is satisfied when the switch is turned on, and setting the rotation mode when the rotation operation determination means determines that the rotation operation condition is satisfied within a predetermined time. Each time the next switch is turned on, a rotation signal indicating the rotation direction is output, and when the rotation operation determination means determines that the rotation operation condition is not satisfied within a predetermined time, the direction mode is set to the next Signal output means for outputting a direction signal corresponding to the switch each time the switch is turned on.
According to such an invention, when the user sets the rotation mode, the rotation operation for sequentially operating the knob in the rotation direction is performed. Then, since any switch is turned on and the next switch located in the rotation direction is turned on, the rotation operation is detected by detecting that the switch is turned on in the rotation direction within a predetermined time. Can do. On the other hand, when the user sets the direction mode, the switch located in the desired operation direction is turned on when a predetermined time or more has passed since any switch was turned on by pressing the knob. Since the direction mode can be set by such an operation, a direction signal indicating the operation direction can be output by subsequently turning on a switch in a desired direction.
(First embodiment)
Hereinafter, a first embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS.
FIG. 2 is a front view of the steering wheel. The

The
An audio device display 10 (see FIGS. 6 and 7) is installed on the instrument panel of the vehicle, and is stored in a hard disk device of the audio device or an external device (DVD, CD, USB memory, etc.) connected to the audio device. A predetermined number of songs can be displayed from the currently played songs. It should be noted that displaying music on the
The
Next, the operation of the above configuration will be described. It is assumed that the
When the driver selects a song different from the currently selected song, the
Now, when adjusting the volume level of the music being played, the driver rotates the
The
When the driver presses the
When the audio device receives a + signal from the
When the driver continues the rotation operation in the state where the rotation mode is set as described above, a + signal is output every time the switch is turned on. Therefore, the audio device steps the volume level every time the + signal is input. Enhance. Then, the driver ends the rotation operation when the desired volume level is reached. The
On the other hand, when the
In order to set the direction mode from such a rotation mode, a desired music is selected by the direction operation on the
According to such an embodiment, the
Moreover, since such an effect can be implemented by changing the software of the
(Second Embodiment)
A second embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIG. The second embodiment is characterized in that the mode determination accuracy is improved. In the first embodiment, since the mode is determined by whether or not the next switch positioned in the rotation direction is turned on within a predetermined time after any of the switches is turned on, the operation is uncertain. There is a risk of setting the mode incorrectly. In particular, it is considered that the rotation operation may be uncertain compared to the direction operation.
Therefore, in this embodiment, the mode is determined again after the first mode determination.
In the flowchart shown in FIG. 8, after the rotation mode is set as in the first embodiment, if the rotation operation condition is not satisfied before Ams elapses, the mode is re-determined as the possibility of the direction mode. If the rotation operation condition is satisfied within Ams, the rotation mode is continued. If the rotation operation condition is not satisfied until Ams elapses, the direction mode is continued.
On the other hand, if it is determined that the rotation mode is in the direction mode and the rotation operation condition is satisfied within Ams, the rotation operation condition is not satisfied until Ams elapses because the mode is determined again because there is a possibility of the rotation mode. In this case, the direction mode is continued, and when the rotation operation condition is satisfied within Ams, the rotation mode is set.
According to such an embodiment, even when the mode intended by the driver cannot be set in the initial operation for determining the mode, the rotation mode is determined based on whether or not the rotation operation condition is satisfied every Ams. Since the mode is set again, the mode intended by the driver can be set reliably.
(Third embodiment)
A third embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIG. The third embodiment is characterized in that the detection resolution in the rotation mode is increased.
In the above embodiments, the detection resolution (determination angle) of the rotation mode is 90 °, but the contact signals of the
However, if the determination angle of the rotation mode is simply changed to 45 °, one of the switches is turned on when the user starts the rotation operation from the oblique direction of the knob 11 in order to perform the direction operation. Immediately after that, it is assumed that the switch and the next switch in the rotation direction are simultaneously turned on, and in such a case, there is a possibility of shifting to an unintended rotation mode.
Therefore, the determination angle of the first rotation mode is set to 90 °, and thereafter the rotation mode is determined every 45 °.
According to such an embodiment, the determination of the first rotation mode requires a rotation operation of 90 °, but thereafter, the rotation mode can be determined every 45 °. Can be reduced.
The knob 11 may be provided as necessary, and knobs corresponding to the
(Fourth embodiment)
A fourth embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. The present embodiment is characterized in that a two-stage contact switch having a first contact and a second contact that are sequentially turned on according to a pressing stroke is employed as a switch.
As in the above-described embodiments, when the switch is a contact switch having only one stage and the selection item displayed on the
For this reason, in the present embodiment, a two-stage contact switch having a first contact and a second contact is adopted as the first to
FIG. 10 is an electric circuit diagram of the two-stage contact switch. The two-stage contact switch turns on in order according to the pressing stroke. When the pressing stroke becomes 0.7 mm, for example, as shown in FIG. 11, the
Now, in the state where the map screen is displayed on the
As in the first embodiment, the
According to such an embodiment, as in each of the above-described embodiments, the direction mode or the rotation mode is selected based on whether one of the
(Other embodiments)
The present invention is not limited to the above embodiment, and can be modified or expanded as follows.
In the first, second, and fourth embodiments, one knob that can be swung in all directions from the center position is provided, and is positioned in a desired direction according to a direction operation that presses a portion corresponding to the switch. While turning on the switch, the switch positioned along the rotation direction may be sequentially turned on in response to a rotation operation of pressing along a predetermined rotation direction centered on the center position.
Although the rotation operation condition is that the switches adjacent in the rotation direction are simultaneously turned on, the rotation operation condition may be omitted. That is, the rotation operation condition may be that the next switch positioned in the rotation direction is turned on within a predetermined time after any of the switches is turned on.
If the number of switches is three, the rotational direction can be detected, so three or more switches may be provided.
A switch device may be provided in addition to the steering wheel.
You may apply in addition to the switch apparatus for outputting a signal to an audio apparatus.
