Claims (14)
- 支持リング(30、40、140)と、

複数の桶板(20、120、222)の各々の一端が、支持リング(30、40、140)に取り付けられており、複数の桶板(20、120、222)が、ノズル(10)の形状をなしているエンジン排気ノズル(10)。 - 支持リング(30、40、140)および桶板(20、120、222)が、排気ノズル(10)の軸回りに対称に配置されている請求項1に記載のエンジン排気ノズル(10)。
- エンジンが、航空機エンジン、ロケットエンジンおよびタービンからなる群から選択される請求項1に記載のエンジン排気ノズル(10)。
- 複数の桶板(20、120、222)の各々の大きさおよび形状が実質的に同一である請求項1に記載のエンジン排気ノズル(10)。
- 複数の桶板(20、120、222)が、円周回りに互い違いに配置された2つの外形を有している請求項1に記載のエンジン排気ノズル(10)。
- 複数の桶板(20、120、222)が、中実の積層体構成、サンドイッチ構成、または、中実の積層体とサンドイッチ構成との組み合わせを有する請求項1に記載のエンジン排気ノズル(10)。
- 支持リング(30、40、140)が、エンジンへの取り付け用の取り付けアセンブリを含む請求項1に記載のエンジン排気ノズル(10)。
- 支持リング(30、40、140)が、ノズル(10)が取り付けられるエンジンの構成部品を形成する材料と同様の熱膨張率を有する材料から形成されている請求項1に記載のエンジン排気ノズル(10)。
- 複数の桶板(20、120、222)の各々が、円周方向のスロット穴付き取り付けアセンブリによって支持リング(30、40、140)に取り付けられている請求項1に記載のエンジン排気ノズル(10)。
- 複数の桶板(20、120、222)に取り付けられた少なくとも1本の追加支持リング(30、40、140)をさらに含む請求項1に記載のエンジン排気ノズル(10)。
- 少なくとも1本の追加支持リング(30、40、140)が、「L」、「C」、「I」、「J」、「U」および「Z」からなる群から選択される文字と実質的に同様の断面形状を有して構成されている請求項10に記載のエンジン排気ノズル(10)。
- 複数の桶板(20、120、222)の各々が、桶板(20、120、222)を円周方向に移動可能とするスロット穴付き取り付けアセンブリによって支持リング(30、40、140)のうちの1本に取り付けられており、かつ、第2の固定された取り付けアセンブリによって少なくとも1本の追加の支持リング(30、40、140)に取り付けられている請求項10に記載のエンジン排気ノズル(10)。
- 隣接する桶板(20、120、222)の重ね合わせによって、または、隣接する桶板(20、120、222)間の空気力学的流れを実質的に排除する、桶板(20、120、222)のうちの1枚に取り付けられた封止材によって、隣接する桶板(20、120、222)間の境界面に封止が形成されている請求項1に記載のエンジン排気ノズル。
- 排気ダクトが取り付けられているエンジンの構成部品より熱膨張率が実質的に低い複数のノズル桶板(20、120、222)から形成された排気ダクトを提供することを含むエンジンからエンジン排気ガスを送る方法であって、複数のセラミック桶板(20、120、222)の各々が、隣接する桶板(20、120、222)の表面と重なり合うように隣り合って位置する上側唇状部および下側唇状部を有し、これにより、隣接する桶板(20、120、222)間の空気力学的流れを実質的に排除する封止を形成する方法。
