Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a vehicle control device used in a vehicle including a camber angle adjusting device for adjusting a camber angle of a wheel, and more particularly to a vehicle control device capable of improving the turning performance of the vehicle.
Conventionally, a technique for improving the turning performance of a vehicle by adjusting the camber angle of a wheel according to the traveling state of the vehicle is known. With regard to this type of technology, for example,
However, in the technique disclosed in
The present invention has been made to solve the above-described problems, and an object of the present invention is to provide a vehicle control device that can improve the turning performance of the vehicle.
According to the vehicle control device of the first aspect, when the turning start determining means determines that the state of the vehicle has changed from the straight traveling state to the turning state, the increase period vehicle speed determining means sets the vehicle speed of the vehicle to a predetermined threshold value. It is judged whether it has exceeded. When the increase period vehicle speed determination means determines that the vehicle speed exceeds a predetermined threshold, the increase period camber adjustment means activates the camber angle adjustment device, so that the left and right rear wheels turn inner wheels. Positive camber direction so that the camber angle is adjusted in the negative camber direction so that it is larger than the camber angle of the turning outer wheel, or the camber angle of the left and right rear turning outer wheels is larger than the camber angle of the turning inner wheel Adjusted to As a result, when the vehicle speed in the period when the turning degree increases exceeds a predetermined threshold and the steer characteristic may be understeer, the camber angle of the turning inner wheel of the left and right rear wheels is made larger than the camber angle of the turning outer wheel. By adjusting to the negative camber direction, the canvas last generated on the left and right rear turning inner wheels is made larger than the canvas last generated on the turning outer wheels, and the yaw moment to make the steering characteristics oversteer tends to be given to the vehicle. Can act. Similarly, by adjusting the camber angle of the left and right rear wheels to the positive camber direction so that it is larger than the camber angle of the inner wheels, the canvas last generated on the left and right rear wheels can be turned into the inner wheels. It is possible to apply a yaw moment to the vehicle so as to make the steering characteristic oversteer tendency by making it larger than the generated canvas last. Therefore, understeer can be suppressed. At the same time, it is possible to improve the turnability of the turning degree increasing period.
Further, according to the vehicle control device of the first aspect, the maintenance period transition determining means determines that the turning state of the vehicle has transitioned from the increasing period in which the degree of turning increases to the maintenance period in which the turning degree is maintained. In this case, the deceleration determination means determines the deceleration state of the vehicle. When the deceleration determination means determines that the vehicle has decelerated, the camber angle adjustment device is operated by the maintenance period camber adjustment means, and the left and right rear turning inner wheels adjusted by the increase period camber adjustment means or The camber angle of the turning outer wheel is adjusted so that the absolute value becomes at least small. Thereby, although the vehicle speed in the turning degree increasing period has exceeded a predetermined threshold value, when the vehicle subsequently decelerates, the yaw moment applied to the vehicle in the turning degree increasing period can be reduced. Therefore, there is an effect that it is possible to avoid the occurrence of oversteering by avoiding the tendency of the steer characteristic to continue to be oversteered after the turning degree is increased even though the understeer is eliminated.
Further, according to the vehicle control device of the first aspect, it is determined by the decrease period transition determining means that the turning state of the vehicle has transitioned from the maintenance period in which the turning state is maintained at the predetermined turning degree to the decreasing period in which the turning degree decreases. In this case, it is determined whether the vehicle speed of the vehicle exceeds a predetermined threshold by the decrease period vehicle speed determination means. If the vehicle speed of the vehicle is determined to exceed the predetermined threshold by the decrease period vehicle speed determination means, the camber angle adjustment device is operated by the decrease period camber adjustment means, and the turning inner wheels of the left and right rear wheels are operated. The camber angle is adjusted so that the absolute value is increased and adjusted in the negative camber direction so that it is larger than the camber angle of the turning outer wheel, or the camber angle of the turning outer wheel of the left and right rear wheels is increased in absolute value. Thus, the positive camber direction is adjusted to be larger than the camber angle of the turning inner wheel. As a result, the vehicle decelerated during the turning degree maintenance period, but the vehicle speed during the turning degree reduction period exceeds a predetermined threshold, and the steering characteristic may become understeer. By adjusting the camber angle so that the absolute value becomes larger and adjusting it toward the negative camber direction so that it is larger than the camber angle of the turning outer wheel, the canvas last generated on the turning inner wheels of the left and right rear wheels is increased and turning is performed. The yaw moment can be applied to the vehicle so as to make the steer characteristic over-steer by making it larger than the canvas last generated in the outer ring. Similarly, turning the left and right rear wheels by adjusting the camber angle of the left and right rear wheels so that the absolute value of the outer camber angle is larger and adjusting the camber angle to be larger than the camber angle of the inner wheel. The canvas last generated on the outer ring can be increased and made larger than the canvas last generated on the turning inner ring, and a yaw moment for making the steer characteristic oversteer can be applied to the vehicle. Therefore, understeer can be suppressed.
Thus, according to the vehicle control apparatus of the first aspect, there is an effect that the understeer can be suppressed and the oversteer can be prevented to improve the turning performance of the vehicle.
According to the vehicle control device of the second aspect, in addition to the effect exerted by the vehicle control device of the first aspect, the turning start determination means determines whether the steering angle acquired by the steering angle acquisition means exceeds a predetermined value. Alternatively, when the time differential value of the steering angle obtained by the steering angle acquisition means exceeds a positive predetermined value, it is determined that the vehicle has changed from a straight traveling state to a turning state, and the maintenance period transition determining unit is When the time differential value of the steering angle acquired by the steering angle acquisition means is smaller than a positive predetermined value, it is determined that the turning state of the vehicle has transitioned from the increase period to the maintenance period, and the decrease period transition determination means is When the time differential value of the steering angle acquired by the steering angle acquisition means becomes smaller than the negative predetermined value, it is determined that the turning state of the vehicle has transitioned from the maintenance period to the decrease period. Judgment and maintenance period transition judgment The determination by the determination and the declining phase transition determining means by means, there is an effect that can be accurately performed based on the steering state of the actual vehicle.
The steering angle acquired by the steering angle acquisition means is not limited to the so-called actual steering angle formed by the center plane of the wheel and the front and rear axes of the vehicle. For example, the driver may generate the actual steering angle. This includes the amount of operation of an operation member (steering or the like) operated by. The steering angle is based on the case where the vehicle is in a straight traveling state, and the steering angle when the vehicle is in a straight traveling state is set to zero.
According to the vehicle control device of the third aspect, in addition to the effect produced by the vehicle control device according to the first or second aspect, the increase period threshold value acquisition means serves as a determination criterion for the determination by the increase period vehicle speed determination means. Since the threshold value is acquired based on the turning degree of the vehicle, the determination by the increasing period vehicle speed determining means can be performed according to the turning degree of the vehicle. Further, since the decrease period threshold value acquisition means acquires a threshold value as a determination criterion by the decrease period vehicle speed determination means based on the turning degree of the vehicle, the determination of the decrease period vehicle speed determination means depends on the turning degree of the vehicle. It can be carried out. Therefore, there is an effect that it is possible to more accurately determine whether the steer characteristic is likely to be understeer.
According to the vehicle control device of the fourth aspect, in addition to the effect exhibited by the vehicle control device according to any one of the first to third aspects, the turning state of the vehicle is changed from the increase period to the maintenance period by the maintenance period transition determining means. When it is determined that the vehicle has shifted to, the vehicle is provided with a maintenance period vehicle speed determination unit that determines whether the vehicle speed exceeds a predetermined threshold corresponding to the turning degree of the vehicle, and the deceleration determination unit includes the maintenance period vehicle speed determination unit When the vehicle speed of the vehicle is determined not to exceed a predetermined threshold value, it is determined that the vehicle has decelerated, so that it is possible to more accurately determine whether the steering characteristic may be understeer. There is.
According to the vehicle control device of the fifth aspect, in addition to the effect produced by the vehicle control device according to any one of the first to third aspects, the deceleration determination means is operated by the driver to decelerate the vehicle. When it is determined that the operating member is operated, it is determined that the vehicle has decelerated, so that it is possible to more accurately determine whether the steering characteristic may be understeer.

Here, with reference to FIG. 2, the detailed structure of suspension apparatus 4RL and 4RR is demonstrated. FIG. 2 is a front view of the suspension device 4RR. Here, only the configuration that functions as a camber angle adjusting mechanism will be described, and the configuration that functions as a suspension is the same as a known configuration, and thus description thereof is omitted. Further, since the configurations of the suspension devices 4RL and 4RR are common to each other, the suspension device 4RR is illustrated in FIG. 2 as a representative example.

Further, in the present embodiment, in the negative camber state, the camber angle of the
The suspension devices 4FL and 4FR provided corresponding to the left and right front wheels 2FL and 2FR are omitted in the function of adjusting the camber angle of the left and right front wheels 2FL and 2FR (that is, the suspension device 4RR shown in FIG. 2). The other configurations are the same as those of the suspension devices 4RL and 4RR, except that the RR motor 44RR is omitted in FIG.

The steering device 5 is a device for steering an operation of the steering 63 by the driver to the left and right front wheels 2FL, 2FR, and is configured as a so-called rack and pinion type steering gear.
According to the steering device 5, the operation (rotation) of the steering 63 by the driver is first transmitted to the

Next, referring to FIG. 4, the operation state of steering 63 when
When the
After entering the corner, the driver stops the
Thereafter, the driver operates the steering 63 to the right at the corner exit to bring it to the neutral state. As a result, the operation speed of the steering 63 decreases from 0 to the negative direction, and the operation amount of the steering 63 also decreases at a rate smaller than the decrease rate. Then, the operation speed of the steering 63 starts from decreasing to increasing and becomes 0, and the operation amount of the steering 63 also becomes 0.
As shown in FIG. 4A, in the present embodiment, when the operation speed of the steering 63 increases from 0 to the + direction and exceeds a positive predetermined value Vs, the

Next, camber control processing will be described with reference to FIGS. 5 to 7 are flowcharts showing the camber control process. This process is a process that is repeatedly executed by the CPU 71 (for example, at intervals of 0.2 seconds) while the power of the

Next, the operation speed of the
On the other hand, if it is determined that the operation speed of the

After executing the processing of S11 or S13, the operation speed of the

On the other hand, if it is determined that the vehicle speed is lower than the second threshold value as a result of the process of S39 (S39: No), the camber angles of the turning inner wheels of the left and right rear wheels 2RL, 2RR are adjusted to the second camber angle. The camber angle of the turning outer wheel is adjusted to the first camber angle (S41), and this camber control process is terminated. That is, the camber angle of the turning outer wheel is made larger in the negative direction than the camber angle of the turning inner wheel. As a result, the canvas last generated on the turning outer wheels of the left and right rear wheels 2RL and 2RR is made larger than the canvas last generated on the turning inner wheel, and the yaw moment for making the steering characteristic understeer tends to act on the
On the other hand, if it is determined as a result of the processing of S34 that the turning degree maintenance
As described above, according to the present embodiment, the camber angles of the turning inner wheels and the turning outer wheels of the left and right rear wheels 2RL and 2RR are determined in the vehicle speed in each of the turning degree increasing period, turning degree maintaining period, and turning degree decreasing period. By adjusting according to this, the turning stability of the
Here, referring to FIG. 8 to FIG. 11, four driving patterns that may be actually performed are taken as an example of the adjustment method of the camber angles of the left and right rear wheels 2RL and 2RR when the
First, the first operation pattern will be described with reference to FIG. FIG. 8 is a schematic diagram schematically showing a method for adjusting the camber angles of the turning inner wheels and the turning outer wheels of the left and right rear wheels 2RL and 2RR when the
As shown in FIG. 8, the first driving pattern is that the vehicle speed at the time of entering the corner is fast, the vehicle speed at the turning degree increasing period exceeds the US limit value, and the vehicle does not decelerate after entering the corner and maintains the turning degree. The vehicle speed in the period also exceeds the US limit value, and finally the vehicle decelerates at the exit of the corner, and the vehicle speed in the period when the turning degree decreases becomes lower than the US limit value.
この場合には、図5から図7に示すキャンバ制御処理において、S1〜S9(S9:Yes)→S12〜S19(S19:Yes)→S20,S21(S21:Yes)→S26〜S31(S31:No)→S34(S34:Yes)→S35,S36の経路で各処理を実行する。 In this case, in the camber control process shown in FIGS. 5 to 7, S1 to S9 (S9: Yes) → S12 to S19 (S19: Yes) → S20, S21 (S21: Yes) → S26 to S31 (S31: No) → S34 (S34: Yes) → S35 and S36 are executed in the path. In addition, after executing the process of S36, each process is executed in the path of S36 (S36: Yes) → S37, or the path of S36 (S36: No) → S38, S39. , S39 (S39: Yes) → S40, or S39 (S39: No) → S41.
That is, in the turning degree increase period, the camber angle of the turning inner wheels of the left and right rear wheels 2RL, 2RR is adjusted to the first camber angle, and the camber angle of the turning outer wheel is adjusted to the second camber angle. Further, the camber angle state is maintained even in the turning degree maintenance period. As a result, even if the vehicle speed at the time of entering the corner is high and the vehicle speed during the turning degree increase period exceeds the US limit value, the yaw moment for causing the steering characteristic to oversteer is applied to the
Further, during the turning degree decreasing period, the camber angle of the turning inner wheels of the left and right rear wheels 2RL, 2RR is adjusted to the second camber angle, and the camber angle of the turning outer wheel is maintained at the second camber angle. Alternatively, the camber angle of the inner turning wheel is maintained at the first camber angle, and the camber angle of the outer turning wheel is adjusted to the first camber angle. Alternatively, the camber angle of the inner turning wheel is adjusted to the second camber angle, and the camber angle of the outer turning wheel is adjusted to the first camber angle. As a result, it is possible to avoid oversteer by avoiding the tendency to oversteer the steering characteristic following the turning degree maintenance period even though the vehicle speed is lower than the US limit value at the corner exit. Can be prevented. In addition, when the vehicle speed is relatively low during the turning degree decreasing period and the effect of the steering characteristic oversteering tends to remain during the turning degree maintaining period, the influence is converged to ensure the turning stability of the

The third camber adjustment threshold map 272f determines how to adjust the camber angles of the turning inner wheel and the turning outer wheel of the left and right rear wheels 2RL and 2RR when the vehicle speed in the turning degree maintenance period is lower than the US limit value. This is a map for storing a threshold value of vehicle speed that is a criterion for the determination, and a threshold value (hereinafter referred to as “third threshold value”) lower than the US limit value stored in the second US limit value map 72b.

Next, camber control processing will be described with reference to FIGS. FIG. 13 to FIG. 16 are flowcharts showing camber control processing in the second embodiment. This process is a process that is repeatedly executed by the CPU 71 (for example, at intervals of 0.2 seconds) while the power of the
In the camber control process according to the second embodiment, when it is determined that the turning degree increasing
On the other hand, if it is determined that the vehicle speed is lower than the third threshold value as a result of the process of S202 (S202: No), the turning degree maintaining period
In the camber control process in the second embodiment, when it is determined that the turning degree maintenance
On the other hand, if it is determined as a result of the processing of S206 that the turning degree maintenance period
Further, in the camber control process in the second embodiment, when it is determined that the turning degree maintenance
On the other hand, if it is determined as a result of the processing of S208 that the turning degree maintenance period
On the other hand, if it is determined that the vehicle speed is lower than the second threshold value or more as a result of the process of S210 (S210: No), the camber angles of the turning inner wheels of the left and right rear wheels 2RL, 2RR are adjusted to the second camber angle. (S211), and the camber control process is terminated. That is, when it is determined that the turning degree maintenance period
Here, with reference to FIG. 17, a method for adjusting the camber angles of the left and right rear wheels 2RL and 2RR when the
As shown in FIG. 17, the fifth driving pattern is that the vehicle speed when entering the corner is fast and the vehicle speed during the turning degree increase period exceeds the US limit value, but decelerates after entering the corner, and the turning degree maintaining period Is a driving pattern in which the vehicle speed is lower than the US limit value and lower than the third threshold value, and the vehicle speed in the turning degree decreasing period is also lower than the US limit value.
この場合には、図13から図16に示すキャンバ制御処理において、S1〜S9(S9:Yes)→S12〜S19(S19:No)→S23,S24(S24:Yes)→S201,S202(S202:No)→S204,S205,S26〜S31(S31:No)→S34(S34:No)→S208(S208:No)→S209,S210の経路で各処理を実行する。また、S210の処理を実行した後は、S210(S210:Yes)の経路、又は、S210(S210:No)→S211の経路で各処理を実行する。 In this case, in the camber control process shown in FIGS. 13 to 16, S1 to S9 (S9: Yes) → S12 to S19 (S19: No) → S23, S24 (S24: Yes) → S201, S202 (S202: No)-> S204, S205, S26-S31 (S31: No)-> S34 (S34: No)-> S208 (S208: No)-> Each process is performed by the route of S209, S210. In addition, after executing the process of S210, each process is executed in the path of S210 (S210: Yes) or the path of S210 (S210: No) → S211.
That is, in the turning degree increase period, the camber angle of the turning inner wheels of the left and right rear wheels 2RL, 2RR is adjusted to the first camber angle, and the camber angle of the turning outer wheel is adjusted to the second camber angle. Thereby, even when the vehicle speed at the time of approaching the corner is high and the vehicle speed exceeds the US limit value, the yaw moment for making the steer characteristic to be oversteered can be applied to the
In the turning degree maintenance period, the camber angles of the turning inner wheels of the left and right rear wheels 2RL and 2RR are maintained at the first camber angle, and the camber angle of the turning outer wheel is adjusted to the first camber angle. This prevents the vehicle from oversteering by avoiding the tendency to oversteer the steer characteristic after the turning degree increase period even though the vehicle decelerates after entering the corner and the vehicle speed becomes lower than the US limit value. can do. In addition, even if the vehicle speed during the turning degree maintenance period is lower than the third threshold and the effect of the steer characteristic oversteering tends to remain during the turning degree increase period, the influence is converged to ensure the turning stability of the
Further, in the turning degree decreasing period, the camber angles of the turning inner wheel and the turning outer wheel of the left and right rear wheels 2RL, 2RR are both maintained at the first camber angle. Alternatively, the camber angle of the inner turning wheel is adjusted to the second camber angle, and the camber angle of the outer turning wheel is maintained at the first camber angle. As a result, if the vehicle speed in the turning degree decreasing period is relatively low and the effect of the oversteer tendency in the steering characteristic in the turning degree increasing period is likely to remain even after the turning degree maintaining period, the
In the camber control process shown in FIGS. 13 to 16, processes other than the process executed in the above-described path are not necessarily limited to the processes shown in FIGS. 13 to 16, and other processes are executed. You may comprise. That is, for example, when it is determined that the vehicle speed during the turning degree increase period is lower than the US limit value, the camber control processing shown in FIGS. 13 to 16 shows the camber angles of the turning inner wheels and turning outer wheels of the left and right rear wheels 2RL and 2RR. Are adjusted to the second camber angle, but instead, the camber angles of the turning inner wheel and the turning outer wheel of the left and right rear wheels 2RL, 2RR may be adjusted to the first camber angle.

In addition, in the camber control processing shown in FIGS. 13 to 16, the processing of S7 is performed as the turning start determination means according to
The present invention has been described above based on the embodiments. However, the present invention is not limited to the above embodiments, and various improvements and modifications can be made without departing from the spirit of the present invention. It can be easily guessed.
The numerical values given in the above embodiment are merely examples, and other numerical values can naturally be adopted. For example, the values of the first camber angle and the second camber angle described in the above embodiments can be set arbitrarily.
In the above embodiment, when the vehicle speed during the turning degree increase period, the turning degree maintenance period, or the turning degree decrease period is equal to or higher than the US limit value, the camber angles of the turning inner wheels of the left and right rear wheels are adjusted to the first camber angle. In addition, the case where the turning outer wheel is adjusted to the second camber angle has been described. However, the present invention is not necessarily limited to this, and the camber angle of the turning inner wheel of the left and right rear wheels is adjusted to the second camber angle and the camber angle of the turning outer wheel. May be adjusted to a predetermined positive angle (positive camber state). In this case, by increasing the camber angle of the turning outer wheel in the positive camber direction than the camber angle of the turning inner wheel, the canvas last generated in the turning outer wheel of the left and right rear wheels 2RL, 2RR is generated in the turning inner wheel. The yaw moment can be applied to the
Although the description is omitted in the above embodiment, when the vehicle speed in the turning degree increase period, the turning degree maintenance period, or the turning degree decrease period is equal to or higher than the US limit value, it is determined whether the vehicle speed is equal to or higher than a predetermined threshold value. If it is determined that the vehicle speed is greater than or equal to a predetermined threshold, the camber angle of the turning inner wheel of the left and right rear wheels is adjusted to the second camber angle, and the camber angle of the outer turning wheel is a predetermined positive angle. When the vehicle speed is determined to be lower than the predetermined threshold while adjusting to (positive camber state), the camber angle of the turning inner wheel of the left and right rear wheels is adjusted to the first camber angle and the camber angle of the turning outer wheel is adjusted. You may comprise so that it may adjust to a 2nd camber angle | corner. As a result, when it is determined that the vehicle speed is equal to or higher than the predetermined threshold, the yaw moment is surely applied to the
In the above-described embodiment, when the vehicle speed in the turning degree decrease period is lower than the US limit value and lower than the second threshold value, the camber angle of the left and right rear turning inner wheels is adjusted to the second camber angle and the turning outer wheels are Although the case of adjusting to one camber angle has been described, this is not necessarily limited to this, and the camber angle of the turning inner wheel of the left and right rear wheels is adjusted to a predetermined positive angle (positive camber state) and the turning outer wheel The camber angle may be adjusted to the second camber angle. In this case, by increasing the camber angle of the turning inner wheel in the positive camber direction relative to the camber angle of the turning outer wheel, the canvas last generated in the turning inner wheel of the left and right rear wheels 2RL, 2RR is generated in the turning outer wheel. The yaw moment can be applied to the
In the above embodiment, the case where the camber angles of the left and right rear wheels 2RL and 2RR are adjusted in three patterns according to the vehicle speed when the vehicle speed in the turning degree decreasing period is lower than the US limit value has been described. However, the present invention is not limited to this, and the camber angles of the left and right rear wheels 2RL, 2RR may be adjusted in one pattern regardless of the vehicle speed during the turning degree decrease period. That is, for example, the camber angle of the turning inner wheels of the left and right rear wheels 2RL, 2RR may be adjusted to the first camber angle and the camber angle of the turning outer wheel may be adjusted to the second camber angle. Alternatively, the camber angles of the left and right rear wheels 2RL and 2RR may be adjusted in any two of the three patterns according to the vehicle speed in the turning degree decreasing period. That is, for example, when the vehicle speed in the turning degree decrease period is lower than the US limit value, it is not determined whether or not the vehicle speed is equal to or higher than the first threshold value, but only whether or not the vehicle speed is equal to or higher than the second threshold value. When it is determined that the vehicle speed is greater than or equal to the second threshold value, the camber angles of the turning inner wheel and the turning outer wheel of the left and right rear wheels 2RL and 2RR are both adjusted to the second camber angle, while the vehicle speed is set to the second threshold value. When it is determined that the camber angle is lower, the camber angle of the turning inner wheels of the left and right rear wheels 2RL and 2RR may be adjusted to the second camber angle and the camber angle of the turning outer wheel may be adjusted to the first camber angle.

In the above embodiment, a case has been described in which it is determined based on the operation speed of the steering 63 whether the turning state of the

In the above embodiment, a case is described in which it is determined whether or not the vehicle speed during the turning degree maintaining period is equal to or higher than the US limit value, and the camber angles of the left and right rear wheels 2RL and 2RR are adjusted in a pattern according to the determination result. However, the present invention is not necessarily limited to this, and it may be configured to determine which pattern the camber angles of the left and right rear wheels 2RL, 2RR are adjusted by other methods. As another method, for example, the driver may change the rotational speed (speed) of power transmission from the front and rear G of the

In the above embodiment, the case where the front wheels 2FL and 2FR and the rear wheels 2RL and 2RR are all configured in the same manner has been described. However, the present invention is not necessarily limited to this. For example, as shown in FIG. , 2RR may be configured to include two types of treads of the
In the above embodiment, the case where the front wheels 2FL, 2FR and the rear wheels 2RL, 2RR are all configured in the same manner has been described. However, the present invention is not necessarily limited to this. For example, the width of the tread of the front wheels 2FL, 2FR is The rear wheels 2RL and 2RR may be configured to have a width wider than the width of the tread. In this case, since the width of the tread of the front wheels 2FL and 2FR is made wider than the width of the tread of the rear wheels 2RL and 2RR, the friction coefficient with respect to the road surface of the front wheels 2FL and 2FR is set to the friction with respect to the road surface of the rear wheels 2RL and 2RR. It can be larger than the coefficient. As a result, the braking force can be improved. Further, in the above embodiment in which the front wheels 2FL and 2FR are drive wheels, the acceleration performance can be improved. On the other hand, since the width of the tread of the rear wheels 2RL and 2RR is narrower than the width of the tread of the front wheels 2FL and 2FR, the rolling resistance of the rear wheels 2RL and 2RR can be made smaller than the rolling resistance of the front wheels 2FL and 2FR. This can save fuel consumption.
Further, as a method for making the rear wheels 2RL and 2RR have a lower rolling resistance than the front wheels 2FL and 2FR, a method of making the width of the tread of the rear wheels 2RL and 2RR narrower than the width of the tread of the front wheels 2FL and 2FR. However, the present invention is not limited to this, and other methods may be adopted.
For example, as another method, the tread of the rear wheels 2RL and 2RR is made of a material harder than the tread of the front wheels 2FL and 2FR, and the tread of the front wheels 2FL and 2FR is gripped more than the tread of the rear wheels 2RL and 2RR. The first method of making the tread of the rear wheels 2RL, 2RR has a lower rolling resistance than the tread of the front wheels 2FL, 2FR (low rolling resistance) The 2RR tread pattern is a lower rolling resistance pattern than the front wheel 2FL, 2FR tread pattern (for example, the tread pattern of the front wheels 2FL, 2FR is a lag type or block type, and the rear wheel 2RL, 2RR tread The second method is to change the air pressure of the rear wheels 2RL and 2RR to the front wheels 2FL and 2FR. A third method for making the pressure higher than the air pressure, a fourth method for making the thickness of the tread of the rear wheels 2RL and 2RR thinner than the thickness of the tread of the front wheels 2FL and 2FR, or the first to first The fourth method and the fifth method in which a part or all of the above methods (methods of varying the tread width) are combined are exemplified.
In the above embodiment, the case where the width of the tread of the rear wheels 2RL and 2RR is set to the same width as the width of the tread of the front wheels 2FL and 2FR has been described. By combining a part or all of the method 5, the rear wheels 2RL and 2RR can be made to have a lower rolling resistance than the front wheels 2FL and 2FR.
(0.1<L/R<0.3)。 Further, when the width of the tread of the rear wheels 2RL and 2RR is made narrower than the width of the tread of the front wheels 2FL and 2FR, the width of the tread of the rear wheels 2RL and 2RR is preferably configured as follows. That is, the value (L / R) obtained by dividing the tire width L ([mm]) by the tire outer diameter R ([mm]) is preferably larger than 0.1 and smaller than 0.4 (0. 1 <L / R <0.4), more preferably larger than 0.1 and smaller than 0.3 (0.1 <L / R <0.3).
