Description

The present invention relates to a seat cushion including a duct, in which a duct is integrated by insert molding.

Seat cushions that make up the seats and backrest of seats mounted on vehicles such as automobiles are the parts where the occupant sits down and touches directly. It may feel cold. For these reasons, seat seats have been proposed that can provide temperature-adjusted air by providing an air distribution passage inside the seat pad (for example, Patent Documents 1 to 3).

特開2000−125990号公報JP 2000-125990 A 実開昭61−55858号公報Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 61-55858 特開2000−52747号公報JP 2000-52747 A

However, in any of the inventions of Patent Documents 1 to 3, the seat pad and the duct such as the air flow path forming means that become the air distribution passage are separate seat cushions. After building the seat pad and the duct separately, both had to be assembled in a later process, which forced the assembly work burden. Conventionally, there is no seat cushion with a duct in which a duct such as an air blowing path forming unit is integrally foam-molded in a seat pad. Even if the duct is integrally foam-molded in the seat pad, the seat pad in which the duct is embedded interferes with the duct, and it is difficult to connect the duct to the upstream connecting pipe.

The present invention solves the above problem, eliminates the burden of assembling the seat pad and the air duct, and facilitates the connection between the air duct and the upstream connecting pipe. The horizontal cylinder is drawn on the same cross section.

The duct-containing seat cushion S includes a seat pad 1, an air distribution duct 5 (hereinafter simply referred to as “duct”), a non-woven fabric 91, and a skin 99 (FIG. 4). The ducted seat cushion S is used for a seat portion and a backrest of a vehicle seat. The lower part of the occupant M on which the seat is seated is received and supported (Fig. 5), the backrest is tiltably attached to the rear part to hold the upper part of the occupant M, and the headrest is attached to the upper end of the backrest, Protect.

Hereinafter, the seat pad 1 of the present embodiment is an example used for the seat portion. The seat pad 1 is a foam that is foam-molded into the shape of the seat cushion S using a foamed resin material such as a polyurethane material. As shown in FIGS. 1 and 5, the seat pad 1 rich in cushioning properties supports a main portion 2 that supports the occupant's buttocks and thighs, and side portions of the buttocks and thighs on both sides of the main portion 2. It is roughly divided into the side part 3. The side portion 3 is formed so as to be raised with respect to the main portion 2 so that the occupant M can maintain a good posture even when the vehicle M is subjected to lateral acceleration during vehicle travel. Here, the horizontal direction in FIG. 1 is the vehicle traveling direction or the vehicle front-rear direction, which is also referred to as the vertical direction in the present invention. The right direction in FIG. 1 is the vehicle forward direction. The up and down direction in FIG. 1 is the vehicle width direction, which is also referred to as the horizontal direction in the present invention. The vertical direction in FIG. 1 is the vertical direction of the present invention, and the upward vertical direction on the paper is the upward direction (front side).

A suspension groove 41 is formed on the surface 1a of the seat pad 1 for tension-fixing an epidermis 99 to be attached in a later process (FIG. 1). The suspension groove 41 is formed with a pair of longitudinal grooves 41a that run in the vehicle front-rear direction at the boundary between the main portion 2 and the side portion 3, and a lateral groove 41b that connects both longitudinal grooves 41a is formed in the vehicle width direction. Reference numeral 42 denotes a hog ring unit.
On the surface 1a of the seat pad 1 on the occupant contact side, a plurality of depressions for the air outlets 20 from which the air-conditioning air is blown out are provided at a necessary location. In the present embodiment, six air outlets 20 are provided in the main portion 2. And the duct 5 which aligned the air ejection port 64 to each hollow 20 is arrange | positioned.

The duct 5 is a resin tubular member disposed in the seat pad 1, and the duct 5 is aligned with the air outlets 20 on the surface side of the duct 5. Is opened. In the present embodiment, the distribution duct main portion 6 of the duct 5 is provided so as to run vertically and horizontally along the back surface 2b of the main portion 2 related to the seat pad 1, and a short pipe is provided on the surface side of the distribution duct main portion 6. A plurality of nozzle portions 65 for the air jets 64 are provided (FIGS. 2 and 4). The duct 5 is inserted into the air outlets 20 so that the air outlets 64 of the tip ends 65a of the nozzle portions 65 are aligned with the air outlets 20, and then the foam pad 5 is formed by foam molding of the seat pad 1. It is integrated with the pad 1.

The duct 5 of the present embodiment runs in the vehicle width direction at a substantially center between the pair of vertical tube portions 6a and the pair of vertical tube portions 6a that run in the vehicle longitudinal direction at intervals slightly narrower than the interval between the pair of vertical grooves 41a. With the horizontal cylinder part 6b which connects both the vertical cylinder parts 6a, it has the distribution duct main part 6 of the air distribution flow path 60 which was substantially H-shaped in plan view as shown in FIG. The distribution duct main part 6 is arranged along the back surface 2b of the main part 2, and the air outlet 64 of each nozzle tip 65a is aligned with the air outlet 20, and the duct internal flow path 60 is provided in the air outlet 20. The seat pad 1 is integrally foam-molded with the duct 5. As shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, the distribution duct main portion 6 is arranged along the main portion back surface 2 b and the seat pad 1 is integrally formed. Therefore, even if the duct 5 exists, the distribution duct main portion 6 is located above the distribution duct main portion 6. Thus, a sufficient pad thickness is secured in the main portion 2 where the occupant M sits.
4 and 5, a part of the distribution duct main part 6 is exposed on the back surface 1b of the seat pad 1 and is disposed along the back surface 1b of the seat pad 1. 6 may be completely embedded in the seat pad 1.

On the other hand, an air introduction portion 61 is provided on the back side of the distribution duct main portion 6 related to the duct 5. The air introduction part 61 has a cylindrical part 61a, an outer casing 61b, and a warping part 61c, and is integrally formed by resin molding of the duct 5. The back side of the distribution duct main portion 6, a cylindrical portion 61a which the tip opening is an air inlet e protrudes outside flange 61b is overhangs from tip 61a 1 near the peripheral wall of the cylindrical portion 61a (FIG. 7). Further, bent at the outer periphery of the outer flange 61b, warp portion 61c extending to the outer flange back 61b 2 side. The air introducing portion 61 is erected at the center of the back surface of the horizontal cylinder portion 6b, and protrudes from substantially the center of the back surface of the seat cushion S as shown in FIGS. On the back surface 1b side of the seat pad 1, an air introduction port e which is a tip end of the air introduction portion 61 is looked into, and the air introduction port e is connected to a blower unit via a connecting pipe (a mating member D).

More specifically, the bulge portion 6b 1 is overhangs at substantially the center of the horizontal tubular portion 6b of this duct 5 (FIG. 2). The bulging portion 6b 1 is bent toward the back surface at the tip portion, and is extended as it is so that the cylindrical portion 61a for the air introduction port e stands up with respect to the main portion of the distribution duct main portion 6 ( 7 to 9). Outer flange 61b is in a plate shape, extending from the tip 61a 1 near the outer peripheral wall of the tubular portion 61a outward. Outer flange 61b is disposed so that its plate surface is orthogonal to the tubular core of the cylindrical portion 61a, and a substantially square flange as shown in Figure 7, provided with attachment holes 61b 3 on its four corners. The air introduction part 61, as it is extended bend in the outer peripheral portion of the outer flange 61b to the base end side of the cylindrical portion 61a, to form a short cylindrical warp portion 61c to outer flange back 61b 2 side. The thickness of the warped portion 61c is substantially the same as the thickness of the outer casing 61b. In the sectional view of FIG. 11, the warped portion 61c is bent at an obtuse angle with respect to the outer flange 61b. Therefore, the opposing both warped portions 61c and 61c spread in a C shape from the point of the outer casing 61b toward the proximal end side of the cylindrical portion 61a.
The seat pad portion 11 located on the back 61b 2 side of the outer flange 61b, the short cylindrical warp portion 61c of a predetermined height surrounds. Fastening surface 61b 1 is the mold opening of the outer flange 61b of the connecting pipe D, and the duct 5 so as to expose at the time of product was taken out and insert seat pad portion 11 the seat pad 1 is integrally foam molded to outer flange back 61b 2 side However, the warped portion 61c surrounds the seat pad portion 11. Warp portion 61c surrounds the outer periphery of the outer flange back 61b 2 side at a predetermined height in accordance with the cylinder length of the warp section 61c. An air introduction part 61 is provided on the back side of the distribution duct main part 6, and there is a seat pad part 11 that enters the outer side rear face 61 b 2 side of the air introduction part 61 by molding the seat pad 1. A short cylindrical warping portion 61c is enclosed. On the back surface 1b side of the seat pad 1, the warped portion 61c divides the seat pad portion 11 in the outer casing back surface area Z from the seat pad main section 10 in the outer peripheral area Y of the outer casing 61b.

In the present embodiment, the seat pad portion 11 in the outer back surface area Z is further opposed to the seat pad main portion 10 in the outer peripheral area Y outside the outer casing 61b on the back surface 1b side of the seat pad 1. And a step 12 is provided (FIGS. 9 and 11). In the outer back surface area Z, the plate surface of the warped portion 61c comes into contact with the outer wall 11a of the seat pad portion 11 forming the stepped portion 12.

Thus, abutting the flange D 2 provided in connection pipe D and the outer flange 61b provided in the air introduction part 61, may enter into the outer flange 61b, a flange D 2 in fasteners P such as a clip or rivet. Reference numeral D 1 denotes a main pipe connecting pipe D. Than the outer flange 61b and protrudes the protruding end 61a 1 of the cylindrical portion 61a, FIG. 10, the connection pipe D as in FIG. 12 to facilitate connection by fitting the protruding end 61a 1.
After the air introduction part 61 and the connection pipe D are connected, the air-conditioning air is supplied to the air inlet e via the pipe body D 1 from the blower unit. As shown in FIG. 4, the conditioned air passes through the duct 5 forming the air distribution channel 60, passes through each nozzle tip port 65a, and blows out from the upper surface opening 20c of the recess.

Meanwhile, the duct 5 mixed sheet pad 1 according to the present duct containing the seat cushion S is its foam molding, sheet pad material enters the back 61b 2 side of the outer flange 61b as described above, are filled with seat pad portion 11 . However, by surrounding the seat pad portion 11 in the short cylindrical warp portion 61c, the outer flange 61b by fasteners P such as a clip, the coupling flange D 2 smoothly. If the warping portion 61c is not provided, a troublesome problem is encountered.

When the seat pad 1 is foamed by inserting the air introduction part 61 with the outer flange 61b, a foaming mold T as shown in FIG. 18 is usually used. In FIG. 18, the symbol T 2 is a lower die, the symbol T 1 is an upper die, the symbol j is a hinge portion, and the duct 5, the distribution duct main portion 6, and the nozzle portion 65 are simply illustrated. Duct mixed sheet pads foam molding with foam-type T in FIG. 18, to set a duct 5 to the lower die T 2, slip of the seat pad 1 on the back of the fastening outer flange 61b portion 19 (present invention (Equivalent to the seat pad portion 11) is always present (FIGS. 16 and 18). Therefore, the outer flange 61b for connecting the connection pipe D and the air introduction part 61, binding work of the flanges D 2 becomes difficult.
As shown in FIG. 16 (b), for example, when the height of the clip serving as the fastener P is 10 mm or more, the clip bends the seat pad 1 by 10 mm or more and connects with the connecting pipe D. Need very strong power. When the seat pad back surface 1b 1 located in the outer region of the outer flange back 61b 2 and the outer flange 61b of the seat pad 1 is flush with a flat, pressed against the tip P 1 of the fastener P such as a clip to seat pad 1 When the required height is bent, the seat pad 1 is made of an elastic body. Therefore, it is necessary to bend not only the pressed portion but also the entire surrounding area where the elastic deformation spreads. In Figure 16, recess symbol F is the deflected by it, reference numeral F 1 denotes an outer peripheral edge thereof. Referring to FIG. 17, when the height of the clip serving as the fastener P is bent, an external force is required to bend the large range of the diameter d that the seat pad 1 follows by elastic deformation. A large burden is imposed on the connection work with the connecting pipe D. Prior to the flange connection between the connection pipe D and the air introduction part 61 as improvement, although a hole corresponding also conceivable seat pad 1 tip P 1 of the fastener P strikes, also becomes necessary extra working steps.

In contrast, the duct 5 mixed sheet pad 1 according to the present invention is the back 61b 2 side of the outer flange 61b is filled with seat pad portion 11, the seat pad portion 11 short cylindrical warp portion 61c surrounds configuration It is. A short cylindrical curving portion 61b surrounds the seat pad portion 11, and the seat pad main portion 10 is located in the outer peripheral area Y outside the outer pad 61b and the outer pad 61b. And divided. Therefore, when the height of the rivet as the fastener P is bent, the range of the seat pad 1 that follows the deformation by the bending is reduced, and the force required for the bending can be reduced. The foam pad of the seat pad 1 allows the seat pad 1 to come into contact with the back surface 61b 2 of the outer casing 61b, but inserts the fastener P into the outer casing hole 61b 3 so that the height of the fastener is 10 mm or more. The range of the seat pad 1 required for bending is only the seat pad portion 11 partitioned by the warped portion 61c. This is advantageous because it is limited to the range of the rear view area of the outer casing 61b. The rear view area of the outer casing 61b is smaller than the circular area of the diameter d in FIG. Insert the fastener P such as rivets to outer flange holes 61b 3, only the force submerged to the state of FIG. 12 from the state of FIG. 11, the seat pad portion 11 located on the outer flange rear zone Z in fasteners P It ’s enough. Since the seat pad portion 11 is separated from the seat pad main portion 10 in the outer peripheral area Y of the outer casing 61b by the warped portion 61c, it is only necessary to bend the seat pad portion 11. The connection between the air introduction part 61b and the connecting pipe D proceeds smoothly.
Further, in the present embodiment, since the seat pad portion 11 located in the outer back surface region Z is raised and the stepped portion 12 is provided, compared to the seat pad main portion 10 located in the outer peripheral region Y of the outer cage 61b, The warped portion 61 c comes into contact with the outer wall 11 a of the seat pad portion 11 that becomes the stepped portion 12. The seat pad portion 11 is reliably separated and separated from the seat pad main portion 10, and the connection between the air introduction portion 61 and the connecting pipe D proceeds more smoothly.

Here, it is more preferable to use a foam-molded sheet pad 1 and a non-adhesive resin duct for the duct 5. When the resin duct has poor adhesion to the integrally foamed seat pad, when the seat pad portion 11 is submerged using the fastener P such as a rivet by the flange connection between the air introduction portion 61 and the connecting pipe D. This is because the seat pad portion that comes into contact with the warped portion is easily separated, and smoothly bends from FIG. 11 to FIG. 12 according to the force pressed against the fastener P to cope with the deformation. "The foamed sheet pad 1 and non-adhesive resin duct" means that when the seat pad 1 is a urethane foam, it is a resin duct that is difficult to adhere to the urethane foam even if it is inserted by foam molding. Specifically, it refers to a duct made of thermoplastic resin such as polypropylene resin and polyethylene resin. In the present embodiment, urethane foam is used for the seat pad 1, and a polypropylene resin duct is used for the duct 5. For this reason, the flange connecting operation of the air introduction part 61 and the connecting pipe D can be performed more smoothly.

Furthermore, as shown in FIG. 11, when the release agent k is applied to the outer casing back surface 61b 2 that contacts the seat pad portion 11 that fills the rear side of the outer casing 61b and the inner surface 61c 1 of the warped portion 61c, the release agent k is further applied. It becomes preferable. When the air introduction portion 61 and the connecting pipe D are flange-coupled (FIG. 12), the seat pad portion 11 smoothly slides on the inner surface of the warped portion 61c according to the force pressed against the fastener P such as a rivet. It is because it bends and deforms much more smoothly from 11 to FIG. Further, since the warped portion 61c is bent at an obtuse angle with respect to the outer flange 61b, the force for bending the seat pad portion 11 can be reduced.

The non-woven fabric 91 is covered and integrated with the back surface 1b by covering the distribution duct main portion 6 other than the portion where the outer casing 61b is present from the lower side on the back surface 1b of the seat pad 1. The nonwoven fabric 91 is inserted and the seat pad 1 is integrally foamed.
Since the non-woven fabric 91 is not disposed at the portion where the outer casing 61b is present, when the seat pad 1 is integrally foamed with the non-woven fabric, the stepped portion 12 is more reliably separated from the other seat pad back surface 1b. The ridge is formed on the back surface 1b of the seat pad.

The skin 99 is a seat that covers at least the occupant contact side of the seat pad 1 (FIG. 4), and a fabric skin having air permeability, a perforated leather skin provided with many small holes, or the like is used.
A seat cushion S with a duct is completed by applying a skin 99 to the seat pad 1 with the duct 5 in which the nonwoven fabric 91 is adhered and integrated. The skin 99 is stretched by engaging a hog ring clip provided on the back surface of the skin 99 with a hog ring part 42 disposed in the skin tension hanging groove 41. If the connecting pipe D is connected, the conditioned air from the blower unit passes through the duct 5 and the air outlet 20, and further passes through the skin 99 to reach the occupant M seated on the seat cushion S. S is completed (FIGS. 1 to 9).

Moreover, the other aspect figure different from the seat cushion with a duct of FIGS. 1-12 is shown in FIG. 13, FIG. Without providing the stepped portion 12, to flatten the seat pad back surface 1b around the air introduction part 61, except for exposing the engagement surface 61b 1 of the outer flange 61b is embedded the entire air intake portion 61 to the inside seat pad 1 . In the foam molding of the seat pad 1, the warped portion 61c enters the seat pad 1 so as to bite from the flat seat pad back surface 1b. Other configurations are the same as those in FIGS. Rear 61b 2 side of the outer flange 61b is filled with seat pad portions 11, further warp portion 61c surrounds the seat pad portion 11. Since the stepped portion 12 is eliminated, a margin space is formed on the lower side of the seat pad 1.

The seat cushion S with the duct configured as described above eliminates the work of assembling the seat pad 1 and the duct 5 since the seat pad 1 is integrally foamed by inserting the duct 5. Then, bent at the outer periphery of the outer flange 61b, provided with a warp section 61c which extend to the outer flange back 61b 2 side, while the back 61b 2 side of the outer flange 61b is filled with seat pad portion 11 also, the seat pad portion thereof since 11 warping portion 61c surrounds fastening the flange D 1 of the connecting pipe D connected to the outer flange 61b and the blower unit of the air introduction part 61 is facilitated. On the back surface 1b side of the seat pad 1, from the seat pad main part 10 present in the outer peripheral area Y of the outer casing 61b, the seat pad portion 11 existing in the outer casing rear area Z is surrounded by the curved portion 61c and divided. it is connected to the flange D 1 of the only connection pipe D to deflect the seat pad portion 11. The fasteners P such as a clip Ryosototsuba 61b, inserted into the hole of the D 2, outside flange back 61b 2 side, at the warp portion fastener surface of the seat pad portion 11 surrounded by 61c distal P 1, FIG. Flange connection can be achieved by simply pressing from 13 to FIG. 14 and bending this part. In a general ducted seat pad made of a normal foam type T as shown in FIG. 18, the seat pad back surface 1b is flush with the outer flange 61b of the flat flange, and the seat pad 1 is made of an elastic body. The force pressed by the fastener P propagated in a wide range as shown in FIGS. 16 and 17, and the flange could not be connected without bending the wide range. Outer flange 61b of the connecting pipe D the air introduction part 61, engagement of D 2 was very difficult.

On the other hand, the seat cushion S with the duct is formed by foaming the seat pad 1, allowing the submerged portion 19 of FIG. The assembly work of the seat pad 1 is eliminated. In the foam molding of the seat pad 1, the seat pad portion 11 is allowed to enter the back surface 61b 2 of the outer casing 61b, and the seat pad 1 is configured to be integrally foam-molded by inserting the duct 5. Eliminate the assembly work burden that was a problem in ~ 3.
On the other hand, the difficulty in the work of flange-connecting the air introduction part 61 derived from the seat pad 1 being integrally foamed by inserting the duct 5 and the connecting pipe D connected to the blower unit is a warped part. This is solved by forming 61c. Seat pad 1 is surrounded by a seat pad portion 11 warping portion 61c in contact with the rear surface 61b 2 of the outer flange 61b, division from the seat pad main portion 10 located on the outer periphery area Y of the outer flange 61b, divided, 13 14, only the range of the seat pad portion 11 existing in the outer casing back surface area Z is elastically deformed, so that the outer casing 61 b of the air introduction part 61 and the flange D 2 of the connecting pipe D are fastened to a clip or the like. It becomes easy to fasten with P. The seat pad back surface 1b 2 in the outer casing back surface area Z and the seat pad rear surface 1b 1 in the outer area (outer peripheral area Y) of the flat flange-shaped outer casing 61b are flush with each other and are flat. In the case of the seat pad 1, in order to bend the clip height as the fastener P by flange fastening, the large range of the diameter d that the seat pad 1 follows by elastic deformation as shown in FIG. 17 must be bent. On the other hand, in the seat cushion S with duct, since the seat pad portion 11 in the outer back surface area Z is divided, it is sufficient to bend the seat pad portion 11 (FIGS. 13 and 14). Outer flange 61b, fastening work of the flanges D 2 is facilitated.

Furthermore, when the step 12 is provided by raising the seat pad portion 11 from the seat pad main portion 10 in the outer peripheral area Y of the outer casing 61b, the seat pad portion 11 is reliably separated from the seat pad portion 10, since the divided outer flange 61b, fastening work of the flanges D 2 becomes easier.
Further, when the step portion 12 is formed and all the other air introduction portions 61 are embedded and integrated in the seat pad 1 as shown in FIGS. 13 and 14 with the fastening surface 61b 1 being left, the lower side of the seat pad 1 is formed. There is room for extra space, which can be used effectively for equipment installation.

When the duct 5 is made of a foam-formed sheet pad 1 and a resin duct such as a non-adhesive polypropylene resin, the clip P serving as the fastener P is fastened by the flange fastening between the air introduction portion 61 and the connecting pipe D. when deflecting the of the duct 5 (the air introduction part 61) from the fact that it is easy to move it dissociates seat pad 1, the outer flange 61b, the fastening operation of the D 2 becomes easier.
In addition, if the release agent k is applied to the inner surface 61c 1 of the warp portion 61c, since the air introduction part 61 becomes easier to further dissociate the seat pad 1, the outer flange 61b, fastening work of the flanges D 2 Is extremely easy. The advantage of the integral foam molding of the seat pad 1 with the duct 5 is enjoyed, and furthermore, this foam molding almost completely solves the difficult problem of the flange fastening work newly caused by the seat pad 1 abutting against the outer casing back surface 61b 2. .
Further, since the warped portion 61c is bent at an obtuse angle with respect to the outer flange 61b, the force for bending the seat pad portion 11 can be reduced.

In addition, the seat pad 1 is integrally foamed by inserting the nonwoven fabric 91, and the nonwoven fabric 91 covers the distribution duct main portion 6 other than the area of the air introduction portion 61 with the back surface 1b of the seat pad 1 to cover the seat pad back surface 1b. If the sheet pad 1 with the duct 5 is inferior in adhesiveness between the duct 5 and the seat pad 1, the sense of unity between the two is enhanced. Since the non-woven fabric 91 strongly bonds and maintains the duct 5 to the seat pad 1, the problem that the duct 5 peels off due to elastic deformation of the seat pad 1 is eliminated.

The present invention is not limited to those shown in the above-described embodiment, and various modifications can be made within the scope of the present invention depending on the purpose and application. The shape, size, number, material and the like of the seat pad 1, the duct 5, the distribution duct main portion 6, the air introduction portion 61, the nonwoven fabric 91, the skin 99 and the like can be appropriately selected according to the application. For example, in the embodiment, the nozzle portion 65 for the air outlet 64 is provided, but without providing the nozzle portion 65, it is also possible to make a hole in the duct main portion 6 and directly provide the air discharge portion 64. Further, the warped portion 61 does not necessarily need to surround the seat pad portion 11 on the back surface portion of the outer casing 61b all around, and if the majority is enclosed, the force to bend the seat pad portion 11 can be reduced.
