Abstract

Claims (8)
- 起点無線アクセスネットワークに接続している移動端末が、目標無線アクセスネットワークへの異種網間の高速ハンドオーバを行うためのハンドオーバ方法であって、
パケットデータゲートウエイが、サービスノードにコンテキストを生成することを要求する要求メッセージを送信するステップと、
前記サービスノードが前記要求メッセージを受信した際に、前記サービスノードは前記コンテキストを生成し、前記移動端末に無線アクセスベアラ(RAB)を確立することを要求するベアラセットアップ要求メッセージを送信するステップと、
前記移動端末が、前記目標無線アクセスネットワークにおいて、制御ノードと前記移動端末との間で無線ベアラを確立するステップと、
前記移動端末が、前記目標無線アクセスネットワークを介して、前記サービスノードに生成された前記コンテキストのアップデートを開始するサービス要求メッセージを送信するステップと、
を有するハンドオーバ方法。 - 前記コンテキストは、前記移動端末のために生成される請求項1に記載のハンドオーバ方法。
- 前記サービスノードは、GPRSサポートノードである請求項1または請求項2に記載のハンドオーバ方法。
- 前記起点無線アクセスネットワークはWLANであり、前記目標無線アクセスネットワークはUMTS無線ネットワークである請求項1から請求項3のいずれかに記載のハンドオーバ方法。
- 起点無線アクセスネットワークに接続している移動端末が、目標無線アクセスネットワークへの異種網間の高速ハンドオーバを行うための通信システムであって、
サービスノードにコンテキストを生成することを要求する要求メッセージを送信するパケットデータゲートウエイと、
前記サービスノードが前記要求メッセージを受信した際に、前記コンテキストを生成し、前記移動端末に無線アクセスベアラ(RAB)を確立することを要求するベアラセットアップ要求メッセージを送信する前記サービスノードと、
前記目標無線アクセスネットワークにおいて、制御ノードと前記移動端末との間で無線ベアラを確立し、前記目標無線アクセスネットワークを介して、前記サービスノードに生成された前記コンテキストのアップデートを開始するサービス要求メッセージを送信する前記移動端末と、
を有する通信システム。 - 前記コンテキストは、前記移動端末のために生成される請求項5に記載の通信システム。
- 前記サービスノードは、GPRSサポートノードである請求項5または請求項6に通信システム。
- 前記起点無線アクセスネットワークはWLANであり、前記目標無線アクセスネットワークはUMTS無線ネットワークである請求項5から請求項7のいずれかに記載の通信システム。
