中孔部13gと筆記具本体3のクリアランスや中孔部13gの軸方向の幅、且つ筆記具本体3の解除突起3fの高さと角度、且つ筆記具本体3の切り掻き部3hと解除突起3fとの位置関係が適正でないと、環状部材13が傾かず、筆記具本体3と環状部材13がくいついた状態となったり、又は環状部材13が十分に傾かないといった不具合が発生する。前記不具合の発生しない良好な動作の範囲としては、中孔部13gと筆記具本体3のクリアランスを0.05mm〜0.5mmとし、中孔部13gの軸方向の幅を0.2mm〜1.5mmとし、筆記具本体3の解除突起3fの高さを0.15mm〜0.4mmとし、解除突起3fの軸後方側の角度を155°〜170°とし、筆記具本体3の切り掻き部3hの軸後方側の始まり部と解除突起3fの軸後方側始まり部とのクリアランスを0.15mm〜0.5mmとしている。
